A Mind-Boggling Number of Voters Who Could Decide the Election Think Donald Trump Is Better for Democracy Than Biden

Quote

Even as ballots in the 2020 election were still being counted, Donald Trump claimed to his supporters that he had won, but that “a fraud” was being perpetrated “on the American public” to deprive him of a second term. After it was clear that he had officially lost, Trump:

● Continued to spread baseless lies that the election had been stolen from him
● Blocked federal officials from working with Joe Biden’s transition team
● Demanded Georgia’s secretary of state “find” him the exact number of votes he needed to turn his loss their into a win
● Pressured the DOJ to investigate the absurd claim that Italian satellites had changed Trump votes to Biden ones
● Urged state legislators to “decertify” their election results
● Incited a violent riot that left numerous people dead
● Let said violent riot go on for hours before he half-heartedly told people to go home (and also told the mob, “You’re very special” and “we love you” and “Remember this day forever!”)
● Said Mike Pence deserved the chants calling for his hanging
● Continues, nearly four years later, to claim the election was stolen from him
● Won’t commit to accepting the outcome of the 2024 election
● Says there will be further violence if he loses again
● Regularly threatens to  use the government to go after his enemies if he wins
● Said he will be a dictator on “day one” in office

Because of all of the above, and because Joe Biden has notably done none of the above, you might think it would be pretty clear to people that of the two candidates, one of them is good for democracy and one of them is bad, and that the latter is very obviously Trump. But according to the results of a terrifying new poll, that is, somehow, very much not the case.

The Dems cheated multiple times on the 2016 election, committed crimes with the FBI, weaponized the IRS, controlled the MSM and social media, and even tried to get 4 of their own justices added to the SC. They're literally the "Endof Democracy" poster boys.

Trump never assumed any illegitimate control of any gov't institutions: all he has following him is Americans.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Abortion is not outlawed. It is simply put back into the hands of the states, so each state can decide on where they stand on the issue.

It is my opinion that many things should be put back to the state level and shrink the fed.

Even a guy like herbie could be a cult leader for all we know, because the job of a cult leader is to appeal to the dumbest people in North America. They can't go around showing off their ability to use six letter words or they'll alienate half the 'tards, while the other half will miss the messages.

The stupid thing is the democrats were told this is going to happen. They've broken so many rules and they very obviously weaponize the courts to go after trump. Like it's not even a discussion.

And they were told that this would mean that people would set aside trump's lies and just not care about them. And that people would wind up flocking to support trump because of things the democrats were doing.

Felony bookkeeping? Trying to keep his name off of ballots illegally? Trying to use the courts to siphon his money so that he had less for a campaign? And that's after years of fake dossiers?

People told the democrats this will drive people into trump's hands not away. Now trump is pulling away in the polls, with some of the latest showing the six point lead. Trump's fundraising is through the roof while Biden is through the floor

And now that it's happening just as predicted the democrats are mind-boggled. Here's a clue you Twinkies, your minds were boggled before you got here

Generally speaking his mental distress is proportional to his use of caps.  Solid caps usually indicates bed-wetting levels of unhinged.

Human herds has gone over the edge of sanity many, many times in history. It seems to be a fact of our nature. There are no 100% effective vaccines: only takes stopping thinking, remembering and caring.

At least this time around, we knew.

The responsibility of the political system to the people is to produce the best candidates: those of the highest integrity; principles; reason; the ability to face crises and perform on top in them. It failed the country utterly and miserably on the both sides of the divide simultaneously. The politics in America are in tatters. There's no way to not see it anymore.

It is not, and it never has.

The responsibility of the political system is to produce a result. That's it. The rest is just the voices in your head talking.

In a democracy it is the responsibility of the PEOPLE to produce the best candidates.  That's what a constitutional democracy is. That is the primary duty of the public - to select good leaders, to elect them to office.  We propose people who seem like good candidates with good ideas, we use a confrontational opposition model to put their ideas and platforms under fire and acid to see how they stand up, and to compare them. Then we chose the best and then they run the country and exercise the authority we've vested in our various levels of gov't.

The system doesn't' owe you shit.   It's all about the people.

Which, after speaking with people like you, is a little discouraging sometimes.

Speaking of elections, the Republicans are trying to pass the SAVE Act. Safeguard American  Voter Eligibility Act to be more precise. They merely want people to have proof of American citizenship if they want to vote. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Who would want to oppose this?

The Democrats.

One could almost get the impression that they are going to try and cheat.

Why would anyone have questions about Biden's mental state?

https://thepostmillennial.com/biden-campaign-sent-questions-to-radio-hosts-ahead-of-recent-interviews

In one interview, Biden stumbled over his words and mistakenly claimed he was proud to have been “the first black woman to serve with a black president.”

why wouldn't it be a democracy?

And why wouldn't a democracy be stronger for having a smaller more local sample size rather than forcing a one size fits all solution on the whole country?

If the federal courts ruled that abortion should be banned entirely you'd be screaming to leave it up to the states (or thinking about how to stack the courts).

It seems you don't care for democracy if people aren't goin to all vote the way you want them to. 🙄

I don't understand the shock. What am I missing?

Options are a hollowed out corpse, that still has a pulse (Biden). But you are truly voting for Kamala Harris. 4 more years out of Biden, is about as believable as a stripper who is 46, telling you she is paying for college.

The alternative, is a loose cannon, who still has some tread in the tires.

The US seemingly would rather go hard right  than hard left. Ask Hillary Clinton.

How is Harris any different, or any more likeable?

Biden had an opportunity to silence those rumblings at the debates. He didn't. Crapped the bed.

Then with a teleprompter he's all of a sudden revitalized?

There is no disrespect to Biden. He is way too old for the job, and is showing his age.

Give him the hook, and let him go out with dignity, or risk him having Trump beat him.
