The fool gave a speech yesterday whining about the use of flow restrictors. Because he’s literally too stupld to understand that drinking water is not an infinite resource; that it comes from aquifers and reservoirs which don’t have unlimited capacity.  THAT is how dumb he is and how dumb his supporters are.  America is actually a decade or two away from massive, unrepairable aquifer depletion in many states which will cause a severe water crisis, and MAGA’s answer is to deplete the aquifers even faster.

^Nothing intelligent to post. AKA BANKRUPT.

Maybe you could say something about removing the flow restrictors and/or there's currently NO WAY to collect the massive amount of water that is FLOODING many states.

And how Trump should have passed an infrastructure bill to pay for that water collection and storage. Duh

Water is H2O, so if C is carbon, O is oxygen and A is abietane, what is Co-Coa?

As opposed to the lefts answer? Which is to oppose building new water reservoirs because it might kill some endangered slug or something?

Democrats and liberal environmentalist nut jobs have opposed building new dams for 40 years now, just like they oppose Nuclear Power.

But yeah, sure, tell us more about MAGA...

I forgot about how the left opposes desalinization plants too.

Every step of the way it is the political left who opposes this stuff.

Stop crying. The glaciers are melting fast from man-made climate change and soon there will be enough water for everyone, right comrade?

Glaciers release water into the oceans, which are salinated.

With flow restrictions installed, people manage to wash their hands and hair. But you’re right… he is a bastard.

No, you fool, the reason dam construction has nearly stopped is that all of the major waterways are already dammed.  Dam construction is nearly halted in China as well.

Not that you ever give two shlts about facts, but if you did, you could read about it in this article from Yale: https://e360.yale.edu/features/hydropower-dams-energy-decline#:~:text=Escalating construction costs%2C the rise, good news for riverine ecosystems.&text=The end of the big dam era is approaching.

Right. So you need to find a way to capture that water before it gets salinated.

Do you really believe this garbage, or do you just say whatever random crap you can to avoid having any kind of fact-based discussion because it goes against your extreme partisan talking points?

Yeah.. that speech is pretty dumb. It makes sense in some places such as Las Vegas, the Inland Empire of Southern California, Southern Utah to have flow restrictors. It is a bit of an exaggeration that they slow things down to a drip. I am sure that there are rare cases where it has been that way. The colorado river is over-allocated. As for CA and the San Joaquin Delta.. it needs a major overhaul of the water rights. Much of which are far too generous for given farmers. The environmental effects would be largely mitigated if efficiency was brought to the forefront not legal precedence.

Actually...a lot of glacier melt goes directly to fresh water systems.

Water scarcity is not a nationwide issue. It is really only an issue in NV, UT, Eastern Oregon, Southern and Eastern CA, Southern NM, and some parts of AZ. The climate and geography along with major population growth factor into this. Of course, there was plenty to go around in 1940 when the population was 1/10 or less of what it is today in some places. As for the agriculture.. not going anywhere. You can grow certain crops in the Central Valley like nowhere else in America due to 310 to 320 days of sunshine, rare freezing temps, low humidity, and soil that has not been drained of all its nutrients.

As usually, you’re full of nonsense.

The articles simply say that the process of reviewing and approving multi-billion dollar projects takes time. They also point out that Democrats are trying to accelerate most of them. In one case, the Coastal Commission rejected a project over the objections of Gavin Newsom.

That is not true.

A New York Times investigation has found that America is depleting its invaluable reserves of groundwater at a dangerous rate.

Here are five takeaways.

Aquifer water levels are falling nationwide. The danger is worse and more widespread than many people realize.

We know this because we built a database of more than 80,000 wells nationwide.

Overpumping is a threat to America’s status as a food superpower.

It’s not just a problem in the West or for farmers. It’s a tap water crisis, too.

Weak regulations allowed the overuse. Now, climate change is leading to even more pumping.

LOL, sure, of course... Democrats have just stalled the process for 40 years now.

From the first link, no, it is not just a timing issue... Democrats oppose this for all the usual excuses and I also called out left wing groups, even when some Democrats do support them, their left wing environmentalist friends stop it...

"Brown’s administration isn’t inclined to provide that funding. It opposes raising the height of the dam citing environmental impacts as well as the risk of flooding sacred grounds belonging to the Winnemum Wintu Indian tribe.

Read more at: https://www.sacbee.com/news/politics-government/capitol-alert/article205939189.html#storylink=cpy"

The moral of this story is as I said... Democrats consistently oppose the creation of additional water storage capacity with new dams.

You know who built Boulder Dam? Democrats. Then Republicans named it after a Republican. Democrats have championed far more American infrastructure projects than Republicans.

But none of that has anything to do with the fact that the Republican Party is being lead by a stark raving lunatic who can’t speak in complete sentences, or coherently, and who thinks that water is an infinite resource. It is not an infinite resource and flow restrictors don’t stop people from washing their hands, hair, or taking a dump. He’s just a lunatic.

Boulder Dam was almost 100 years ago. Congratulations, you want a cookie or something?

We are talking about the last 40 years now. The Democrats of today and the last 40 years are not the same as those in the 1930's.

Well.. its about to become the lead story. The stupidity of the responses will mostly like be something straight out of the movie, "idiocracy". But Brawndo has what plants crave, it has electrolytes.
