My guess is no but then you do not have to look at it. In my hometown of Boise, Idaho.. there is a large cross on a plateau northeast of town. I am a lifelong atheist.. should I be able to remove that? Or can I simple ignore it and move on.

If it’s on someone’s property, then no.  If it’s on public property you can contest it and you’ll likely win and get a pride flag instead.

Feelings.

Nothing more than feelings.

I'm being flip but there should be a feelings zone for politics, on both sides...

I find faith to be a necessity in the face of my feelings

if I only followed my feelings, I could never love mine enemies

only the Nazarene stands between me and the abyss therein

It is on private property but as someone with an open mind.. I simply ignored it and led a fine existence. A few groups tried to sue and have it removed. It failed thankfully (notice that?)

So in short the actions of a few made you think that this represents the whole. When pressed with evidence about how the children were not being touched nor were the stories sexually explicit.. the protesters complained that they were being brainwashed. Brainwashing demands a lot longer than 15 minutes and when the kids are mostly bored out of their skulls.. that is some pi$$ poor brainwashing.

The actions of the many negate tolerance of the few who are not. And brainwashing may require more than 15 minutes but not all of the same time if you send the same message to kids 15 minutes on a regular basis it has an impact. To pretend otherwise is silly

If you're going to claim that none of them have an agenda and that this kind of thing has no influence on kids in the slightest i think you'll have a tough sell.  I just posted the one where the guy got caught singing "if you're a drag queen and you know it - free palestine".   Tell me all about how there's no alterior motive there :)

And as always you can't address these points. You just simply ignore it as if sticking your head in the sand will make them go away.

submit infidel

well according to the Koran, infidels can actually pay a tax to the Islamists to be left alone

not gays, lesbians, trans, nor atheists of course, all those people would be mass murdered

but heterosexual WASPs could just pay a tax to be allowed to go about their business

beats paying Justin Trudeau for the same privilege it seems

the trains at least run on time in Arabia, and the public services are exponentially better

frankly, we heterosexual British WASPs are the original allies of the Islamists

see ; T.E. Lawrence and the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Turk

I wasn't that put off when I read the Koran

first, I was surprised by how short it was, only a fraction of the length of the Bible

second, there really isn't much insight in it, rather it is mostly just a collection of edicts

it's basically an absolute patriarchy which makes Christianity look like radical feminism in comparison

I, as a heterosexual male,  would be at the apex of society, women would be forced to do my bidding

and all leftist weirdos, gays, atheists and whatnot would be liquidated

didn't sound that bad actually

the real question is whether to be Sunni or Shia

not sure why, but I think I lean towards Imam Ali

well I certainly understand why heteronormative males go hard for Islam

not sure what's in it for the women

but so long as Canadian women are Progressives in a suicide pact with Islam

which will according to you force me to submit at some point

might as well just get with the program, if can't you beat them, join them

WTF has some guy saying Pride Season instead of Week, Day or Month got to do with Islam OR Jesus for that matter?

Getting your panties into such a knot sort of proves you're at least cross-dressers.

well one thing that I was surprised by, is that Islam is not actually opposed to Jesus

Jesus is not only a prophet in Islam

but according to the Koran, there is actually a Second Coming

wherein Jesus returns to Damascus, to judge the souls of the living and the dead

so it isn't actually diametrically opposed to my belief system

so long as I have the Nazarene,  I can get along to go along ; love thine enemies

well the ironic thing about this completely bullshit 2SLBTQ++ blah, blah, blah fake identity group

and associated bullshit "pride season"

is that not only do the silliest Woke Progressives kooks even subscribe to it

but it is actually driving Christians & Muslims together against the ridiculous Woke Corporate Fascist state

so it is a boon in that sense

can you bother to read just a little better. First, it was an example. Second, I state twice that I simply ignored it and left it be.

Because I am mostly apolitical and I now live in Northern Nevada. Idaho.. that place is changing. Went back to Boise in April 2024 and it was unrecognizable. That place has grown like I never thought it would. It is basically Denver Part 2 and there is still plenty of room to grow to the south and east of town.
