Why do we focus so much on race? Because it simplifies things for our simple minds. It boils the complexity of humans down to one simple trait. Also, it is natural to fear who you perceive as an outsider. In Reno, whites are the majority. Not all that high of a black population so when you do see one.. it sticks out. It is a simple matter of observing the outlier in a situation. Now, when I was in NYC in august 2022.. not the case at all.

Ok. so lets focus on you. Are you more proud of your decisions, accomplishments, etc. or the fact that by random chance you are white? Again.. lets focus on you not strangers or people in the past. How are you proud of someone doing something and you having absolutely no involvement in it?
