The war will end, russia will get a little territory, ukraine will lose a bit but will likely be allowed to join nato or at least will get armed to the teeth by nato so that russia never tries again and the killing will stop and american industry will make a boatload of money fixing ukraine up and providing new infrastructure and tech That would be trump's plan. Not complex. Nothing nefarious Now - some will say that only complete russian withdrawal is acceptable and that's fine if that's what you think. A perfectly valid opinion. But - lets not pretend that finding an end to the war that makes both sides equally unhappy and ends the killing is a bad thing either or that trump is 'following his russian masters'.
