- media is more concentrated

Look, it all comes down to a few quite simple notions, really. First, democracy is not a gift, or pretty paper - it cannot be written and hung on the wall. Simply doesn't work that way. Democracy is a living entity and as all living things it needs energy and it has to move and change.

The energy of democracy is the will of free, independent and active citizens. They make democracy live, evolve and advance. No f-ing less. Not pretty posters. Not "better people". Not great leaders even, without the energy their great speeches would just hand in the vacuum, useless.

And that is what Canada never understood, didn't even try to, honestly and in earnest. "Good government", bundles of dough from selling stuff dug and caught why bother fixing (building, constructing, designing, thinking together, deciding)? Quickly, stick that label "Parliament" on an imperial dominion, looks good, job well done. Nothing independent anywhere in sight here, very little independent will and when if flares (Freedom convoy) it's not organized to make any lasting imprint on the system. Another commission du jour. Another committee or ombudsman. Nothing changed in essence - why bother and then impossible, too.

And that's just too bad. Because democracy cannot work, and live that way.

We need to strengthen our Constitution or change systems.  We’re dropping in the freedom ranks and have become far too manipulated by foreign and international entities.

3. I don't even LIKE Trudeau.  Of course I don't lie.

When the freedom convoy was in Ottawa, you were one of the people constantly saying that it was awash in swastikas and confederate flags, but you had no pictures of it. After I called you out on it, you kept saying it.

4. This is exactly the problem with pretend conservatives today.  Just because I don't buy into the world view of The Rebel, I am said to have 'blind faith' in the MSM.   Wrong again.

Pretending to see things that they didn't show you was one example.

Where were you when reasonable people were saying that we should be allowed to talk about the BSL4 lab?

Where were you when we were saying that the vax mandates were BS?

Where were you when we talking about vax side-effects and haplessness?

Every time you were regurgitating disproven MSM BS.

5. I have noted media lies on this very board.

For example?

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

"If it didn't come from CNN, it's heresy!" - leftist "intellectuals"

If the UK is still up there I don't see us likely to drop. They did away with freedom of speech years ago.

Careers and reputations are being destroyed over people exercising their supposed rights.  I don’t know how rights are restored when so many citizens have come to accept this as normal.  Current generations need to learn history, including ancient history, to understand why these rights are so fundamental to a free democracy.  They were hard won and didn’t just fall from the sky.  Of course anything institutional is shredded by the ignorant revolutionaries as “colonial” and “oppressive”, which is why the answer is reform, not revolution.  We need to bolster our constitution.  The US got amendments.  Where are our amendments?
