One thing I find really odd is that Nina Jankowicz (of Scary Poppins fame) also worked for the Ukraine government. Non-sequitur? Perhaps. But a lot of 'Ukraine experts' in the works these days...I notice.

"blood & soil" originates in 19th romantic nationalism

the Nazi version, authored by Richard Walther Darre,  was actually "a New Nobility based on Blood & Soil"

the operating mechanism being to create a new aristocracy

the Liberals certainly do appear to be invoking themselves as that now

Nobles & Serfs...they find that very attractive.

see how Chrystia Freeland cannot even be shouted at by another Canadian

without the Liberal pseudo aristocracy & associated cronies invoking that as "criminal"

because they not only fancy themselves as being above the law

they fancy themselves to be above the masses, as a kind of Nobility, separate & above the Hoi Polloi

hence all the double standards, one rule for them, another rule for you & I

It seems genuine on the face but it seems a bit convenient, as well. I guess I'm just suspicious by nature re: politicians.

My questions are: Where was her security? Did they not make the trip to Alberta? Is this elevator event being used to cover-up WHY she was in Alberta?

I wouldn't put it past the Liberals to stage these sorts of incidents

but I think it backfires strategically

because it is establishing a precedent which is becoming part of the culture, imported from America

As I understand it, the "why" was to increase the area of a nature preserve so as to restrict gas exploration further. So...I'm suspicious. As Rohan and other Canadian commentators pointed out, the media and government immediately & simultaneously proceeded with 'damseling' the whole thing. If they didn't construct the entire thing, they certainly had plans for if Freeland ever happened to get 'accosted' by such a fellow.

Oh...there's one...open Plan A.

like I say, I think Damseling backfires, on the long view

it's a desperation move near term, which actually encourages the behaviour it is hysterically indicting

outside of the chattering classes, I don't think the masses sympathize with the Liberal aristocrcy

quite the opposite

I think most people say "serves her right" not "poor little Chrystia"

The reality these days is that if the NDP starts coming to its senses, Trudeau is finished well before 2025.

the Liberals are adopting the strategy & tactics of the Democrat Perty, down to the smallest detail

I think it backfires on them exponentially

it is destroying their Natural Governing Party status,

making them seem like foreign weirdos to Canadians instead

I expect they will be wiped out in the end, just like they have been in Ontario

but then I expect you will see what has happened in Ontario

when the new aristocracy simply co-opts the Conservatives as soon as they are in office

That we have to hang it all on the hope of Pierre Poilievre not being a tyrant himself is...well...sad.

the origins of this new aristocratic movement & associated divide & conquer strategy

all really dates back to 2008 and the Occupy Wall Street movement

the elites got the message

they were the 1% and the masses were coming after them with torches & pitchforks

ever since, the corporate & government elites have been attempting to divide & conquer desperately

putting the working & middle classes against each other, to avoid revolutionary overthrow of the Establishment

I don't think Polievre is one of these new aristocrats

but in order to be Prime Minister in Canada, one has to rule with an iron fist

Polievre is running on Sunny Ways right now

but how will that last, when the Conservatives start to feel the heat ?

because they don't have a solution to the inflationary debt crisis neither

You attend torchlight parades in Kiev? Interesting.

Witnessed, correction. No regrets or reservations. Torch parades happen in many places for many reasons. Spain, Brazil, India probably many others. Nazis of our days don't need any excuses or explanations though: the deed speaks for itself, all and everything there's to know.

Your explanation of torchlight parades is noted. I'm not sure everyone will find them as innocent as you do.

even when we disagree, I respect you,

I respect your point of view,

and I trust you to do the right thing in the face of peril

you are brave,  forthright & honourable,  in my estimation

you're always welcome at my campfire, as honoured guest
