Addiction and violent crim are a result of drugs and illegal guns dopey.

no they aren't

these are people problems

not object and substance problems

you can do drugs and not be an addict

you can use guns and not commit violent crimes

you are targeting the wrong things

unrealistic

the government doesn't have the manpower nor resources

there aren't enough cops

there aren't enough prosecutors

there aren't enough courts

there aren't enough jail cells

the justice system is completely log jammed as it is

Gee...that's a lot of excuses.

you don't seem to have thought this part through logically

the people buying the drugs are junkies

they are addicted to the drugs

so if you make the drugs more expensive

the junkies will simply have to commit more crimes to get the money to feed their addiction

making the drugs more expensive also makes them that much more valuable to the gangsters

so the gangsters will escalate the levels of violence in order to control their territory

your simplistic "War on Drugs" solution is simply going to increase the levels of violent crime as a result

More excuses...

And you're making excuses for criminals.

your position is as illogical as Justin Trudeau's

he bans guns

you will ban gangs

the Government of Oz need only to pass a law

and magically the problems will be solved

I don't understand why you would not want the laws, already on the books, enforced?

these are the kinds of childish ad hominem strawmen you resort to when you have no good points

typical Nationalist

Oh don't be so full o' shit. You have no resolutions, just excuses.

The result...more illegal guns, more shoot-outs in the streets, more drugs for less cost.

What a wonderful world that would be...

the only solutions you have make the problem worse

even if my position was the strawman you are making of my position

that's still notably superior to your position

you can't even out argue the strawman that you constructed to make your idiotic idea sound better by comparison in a false dichotomy

that's how stupid you're policy proposals are

you can twist my words into dumbest possible version of my argument

and it still dunks on the steelman of your argument

puhthetic

Nice bullshit.

The bottom line is, criminals should be caught and charged. If found guilty, they should go to jail.

If this simple, yet common logic fails you...I guess the progressive bug is more potent than I thought.

criminals should be caught and charged for things that should be crimes

not things that shouldn't be crimes

you want to include the latter in the former, which means less policing of the things that should be crimes

which means you are the pro-criminal one here

strawman fallacy

A guy loads a gun, goes to Danforth and opens fire on innocent people and kills several including a kid.

Should he be arrested? Yes.

A gang has a stash of guns and ammo. All illegal.

Should they all be busted? Yes.

What strawman?

What an asinine warp of reality.

So you think possessing illegal firearms should not be a crime?

I think that you and most Canadians think waaay too many guns should be illegal

and possessing many of those guns shouldn't be a crime

I see. Ok.

You're disqualified.

your opinion on disqualification isn't relevant

you have terrible arguments and you concoct idiotic reasons to ignore far better ones

so you can maintain your delusional perception of being smarter than everyone who disagrees with you

non sequitur

I don't get why you're being so disingenuous

you said that the solution is enforcement in order to increase the price of drugs

I said that would backfire, because the stakes would increase therein, leading to an escalation of crime not reduction

conserving the Liberal Party of Canada brand of progressive

that's what Canadian nationalism has devolved into

they don't call it the Natural Governing Party for nothing

the Liberals have successfully ingrained their dogma as the essence of Canadian culture itself

there is nothing but the Liberal Post National State,  that is all Canada is now
