I have a suggestion for ya.

We have this society sorta happening here in Canuckland and...since you hate it so much...perhaps we can find an island for y'all? We spend lots o' money of silly crap. I'd be OK with spending what it takes to give you and any friends you may have...your own little rock out by Newfoundland somewhere.

You can build whatever society you please. hell...we'll even throw in a bunch of VW Bugs for y'all.

I don't see Putie-The-Runt running much of anywhere.Currently, he's stuck (on the Ukraine border)....trying to look like Spanky The Wannabe-Intimidator.

I guess you need a history lesson then. Shocker.

When Obama was POTUS, Putin rode around on a horse with no shirt on (www.alreadyinP86'sspankbank.com) taking over parts of Ukraine whenever he wanted. Obama just bit his pillow, and if he even made a peep, no one heard it.

Putin suffered a brief setback when Trump was President, 200 of his men were actually killed by US forces back then and he never pushed back, but as soon as Biden was inaugurated Russia amassed their shock troops on the Ukrainian border.

Biden got rid of Trump's kibosh on the NG pipeline to Germany in an act of appeasement, but Putin patted him on the head and proceeded to sign economic and military deals with China. They've both agreed to look away when the other invades Ukraine/Taiwan.

It seems as though Biden's weakness along the border is only matched by his weakness on the global stage. Putin and Xi are the big dogs now, Biden is a yappy little kitchen-shitter. The next POTUS will be starting on his back heel, vying for a spot at the big boy table.

It's clear why Putin started his military buildup on the Ukraine border after Trump left office. There is a weakling in the White House now who's family has very lucrative deals with many countries, including Russia.

Yeah but imagine where he'd be by now if Trump's putsch had worked. Halfway across Poland by now if he wanted.

Oh well, banking on a 2020 win for Trump was probably just plan B, bonus icing on a cake of American divisiveness he'd been baking for years readying for the day he'd be making a play for Ukraine.

As it is Putin practically has Tucker Carlson and Fox News on his side which is probably as good as having...

Funny picture. Makes me want Trump all the more.

Tell me...will you get on your knees and scream at the sky at the inauguration, if Trump becomes POTUS again?

Man I'd pay to see that.

But then...as a young lady she defected from Soviet Czech. She...better than about ANY OF US...knows what these Libbies are doing, and what we'll get if they actually win this ideological battle. I don't think even Biden's most enthusiastic supporters can honestly say that this man in any way projects strength. We all get old but Biden is an old man that sounds old. Trump comes across as strong. Putin comes across as strong(but evil). Xi Jinping comes across as strong(really evil).Biden is weak but I concede there are circumstances where he might take bold action, like if the Biden "family" business was threatened.

There are millions of dollars flowing from Russia to the Biden family so that's a factor in this Russia/Nato/US showdown.

For all intents and purposes Uncle Sam is the sub in the picture.  America has taken up it's position as the world's preeminent global super-weakling.

Meh...there are billions of oligarch dollars, rubles, renminbis and what have you flowing thru Canada's hands too.  I doubt if any of that'll be affected by this one bit

Why? I suspect they have easier ways to move dollars, rubles, renminbis and what have you into Canada.

You do realize when I said sub I wasn't referring to u-boats?

Never.

Then what are you talking about?

Of course commerce with Russia will continue.

But we have something they want. Our Northern Passage from Europe  to the East. If there's anything Russia wants from us, it's that.

I notice most of NATO has no desire for conflict with Russia. Britain, Germany and others have too much commerce with them.

I'll keep saying this till it's too late but...the USA needs to stay out of this thing with Ukraine.  The way I understand it, Bush Senior made a deal with Russia about NATO expansion and promptly broke it years ago.

I predict a bunch of Biden Bull, followed by a whimper and...nothing.

99% of people in NA don't understand Russia's geopolitical situation because USMCA are so chummy as neighbours, and we've got vast oceans between us and the rest of the world.

Canada is the second-largest country in the world and Russia is almost twice as big. They have 11 time zones and about 12 int'l borders including China, NoKo, some Stans, etc. They're surrounded by a lot of countries which have long histories of being involved in wars of conquest.

They don't want NATO right on their border, period.

Finland hasn't applied to join NATO for decades for that exact reason. Mongolia has also been considered a 'buffer zone' country as well.

Russia isn't isolated like the US. They can't afford to fuck around. They have to play chess 24/7.

What does Putin's bitch have to do with pipelines?

Biden polished Putin's pipeline from Russia to Germany. It was blocked by the previous administration.

This isn't a small news item that would easily be missed by people who just see the occasional headline. Again, it's common knowledge.

TBH, when Trump left office Merkel and Putin probably just told the Biden to do as he was told, but he made a show of being part of the green-lighting process.
