Right...I have a bridge in NYC for sale. Interested?

Your bias won’t even allow you to conceive of the concept, or what? Try this one on for size. Trump was a horrible President and a horrible person. He was a phony “populist.” Biden is also a phony “populist.” He’s not immune to the persuasion of the special interests. As much as they both suck, Biden wins easily in a relative comparison, which isn’t saying much. A rock would also win that comparison easily. That’s what an objective assessment looks like. Facts matter. If you can’t be honest and deal with realities, then don’t vote.

It’s the GOP that’s constantly mad that people have freedoms they don’t like. Abortion, gay marriage, special bathrooms, the right to vote… etc. Your comment is remarkably stupid.

All Americans have the right to vote, and that right is actually protected when elections are fair and honest. Allowing people without ID to vote, mass mailing ballots without signature matching, and allowing non-citizens to vote are actually ways of diminishing the voting power of Americans. Lesson learned - don't get this one wrong again Roushy.

Your other 'issues' are oversimplified (no doubt so that leftists can get a rudimentary understanding of them) and therefor not worthy of comment.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

Seriously man...

I wouldn't mind taking on the issue of whether abortion law, for instance is a case of taking or giving of rights. But if I do this thread degenerates into something different than its intended topic.

The "special bathrooms" item made me smile. Which right to "special bathrooms" is he talking about? Does he mean the "special bathrooms" like the one in Virginia where the male student in the dress anally raped a young girl in that "special bathroom?" Is Roush worried because the GOP objects to that kid rapist's "special rights?"

He's definitely worried about something. I don't even wanna think about it.

More mindless, ultra-biased drivel from a cog in the propaganda machine. Keep fueling the machine and gassing it with all the logical fallacies you subscribe to like a fucking moron. So easily persuaded to be willfully ignorant. Shut the fuck up with your endless conspiracies about election fraud, you fucking idiot.

So easily persuaded to be willfully ignorant. Shut the fuck up with your endless conspiracies about how requiring ID = discriminating against coloured people because only poor white people are smart enough to get ID, you fucking racist.

Folks,

Do not post personal attacks and do not even think of posting foul language ever again here.

We do not have time for a meeting of the flat earth society.

I'm pretty sure there were plenty of abortions , gay marriages etc during Trump's term. No real impediments to the right to vote either. Special bathrooms? Male washrooms, female washrooms. How many different kinds do you guys want?

How about the right to free speech and the right to bear arms?

Are you capable of making your point without hurling insults?

Wow, you’re slow! Lol Who said there weren’t abortions, etc during Trump’s term? Fucking idiot. The point is, you conservatives pretend you’re champions of freedom, yet you sit there constantly whining about all of the freedoms you don’t like other people having like some dipshit wannabe dictators. Then, you want to pretend you’re victims and cry about the fake war against the first and second amendment. You’re too damn stupid to be in this conversation.

Roushy,

As a foreigner, you miss the point. It is not about "champions of freedom". It is how much to restrict individual freedom.

And a cantaloupe is a melon. I don't get your point.

America is a success because it is a federal state, a collection of countries: California is a country - like Canada, about 40 million people.

Among the top 20 or so countries by GDP per capita, all have small population - except the US. Why? The US is not a single country. It is a federal state - a collection of sovereign states.

Technically it's more like this:

Quote

A federation (also known as a federal state) is a political entity characterized by a union of partially self-governing provinces, states, or other regions under a central federal government (federalism).

But yeah I'm not sure if we're arguing and if we are what it's about.

My thinking is America is successful as a shared power between the federal government and the states. There has always been a flux between which part of that equation holds what or how much power. The "Build Back Better" goofs are pushing hard for one central power lately. I think that's a bad idea.

Not sure but I think you might share that opinion. So again...are we supposed to be arguing? What about then?

Honestly it seems like CNN is dying a slow death now.

The death of radical, biased, divisive media will go a long way towards healing America's wounds.

I'm sure they only survive via being forced to accept CNN in most TV cable packages.

I wonder what percent of their viewership is from the TVs in airports, banks, and offices that just have 'news' on as a distraction.

They get about half a million viewers, I bet that 5-10% of that is just from business owners who want to have a TV on throughout the day but they don't want to get looted.

Small governments are successful. Places like New Zealand, Luxembourg, Norway, Singapore.

The US is successful because it is a collection (federation?) of small governments. As even Obama said, it is neither red states nor blue states: it is a united states.
