Laugh at yourself Mr. Diebold.  There isn’t a war Biden hasn’t supported in the last 45 years.  He was also one of the architects of the failure in Libya and advocated for getting involved in Syria.

Argus has no facts to speak of so he answers you with misplaced smileys, childish insults and a cartoon that is grotesquely unintelligent.

Quite right.  It’s sad to see what he’s become.  Trump broke his brain, and he still hasn’t healed.  So he’s become an advocate for politicians who’s policies he’d otherwise be against.  Liberal Supreme Court judges, carbon taxes, fossil fuel bans and restrictions, increased immigration, critical race theory, etc, etc.  You can’t reason with somebody that’s abandoned it.

@ Betsy

FYI not everyone that supports Trump is a Christian.

I'm a proud heathen, I just hate useless weasels and that's what the left has come to.

I now that many non-Christians supported Trump.   But I'm addressing fellow-Christians in my OP.

I've seen quite a few "prophecy" videos made by Christians - and I'm thinking of the Christians who have set their expectations from those prophecies.  I can only imagine the let-down feeling some may be feeling, and it can be a blow to faith for some of them.

Dear Brothers and Sisters   (okay....let's include the ignorant busybody non-believers too who keep pontificating like pastors about things they hardly understand   ).

We saw the miracle of the 2016 election result............. BUT............................................let's not forget:

IT'S NOT ABOUT TRUMP, THE MAN.

IT'S NEVER BEEN ABOUT TRUMP.

IT'S ALL ABOUT................................... GOD'S WILL.

A Christian asks in the other forum: Biden's winning - are Christians being punished by God for embracing un-Christian social issues like abortion?  To which I replied:

Perhaps, what was expected from Trump was already accomplished? Everything is playing out according to the Plan?  How do we know it ends here? That, this is the end of it?  I'm thinking of the DOMINO EFFECT.

.......if indeed this is a punishment, perhaps it's a punishment for the whole world? What more, when we're talking about "global?"

Who knows, perhaps it is even a prelude, or it ushers in the Tribulation period?

I suppose, what I'm trying to say is........................... to let ourselves be at peace with how things unfold, wherever they may lead..........reassured by our trust in God.

We've been reminded in the Bible so many times:  be at peace with God.  Be prepared.

Hey, betsy, what message was so important it was repeated three times in the bible in three separate places, word for word?

Keep reminding us about your ignorance on Christianity, Argus.

I imagine Jesus running into Argus.  "Jesus! Hey! Good to see you, buddy!"

Argus started mouthing off about Trump - how sinful he is.

Argus also complained that Trump wants to " get rid of health care, cut pensions and unemployment, cut college loans and education grants, cut foreign aid and food stamps and school lunches! That way I can lower taxes on rich people and big corporations! Screw the poor and sick! If they can't feed themselves or pay for a doctor.  Argus finished it off by claiming ...." they can go to hell, right, buddy!?"

Blasted politics and its lying, scheming,  out-of-context dirty ways.

It's not hard to imagine Jesus taking a good look at emotional Argus.  Not again.  Then He pointed at Argus and bellowed,

GET THEE BEHIND ME, SATAN!  You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.

Matthew 16:23

Lol.   I got into reading our exchanges in that old thread.   This one is really good, in-depth explanation of your ignorance,  Argus!

Here's what you'd alleged Trump had said:

Trump wants to " get rid of health care, cut pensions and unemployment, cut college loans and education grants, cut foreign aid and food stamps and school lunches! That way I can lower taxes on rich people and big corporations! Screw the poor and sick! If they can't feed themselves or pay for a doctor.

Your accusation about healthcare is quite.....deceptive.

I don't know where you got your information, but from what I heard in his rallies, and from the debates....he is going to     get rid of OBAMACARE - not healthcare!

He will replace it with something affordable.  See, a few days after he said Obamacare's premium will go up - it did went up!  More people wouldn't be able to afford it now.

He's trying to save their healthcare system, Argus!  In his own way.     No, he's not a fan of Canada's healthcare system, he's got his own plan.  There's nothing wrong with that.

You're also not being accurate in your accusations.  You didn't explain to Jesus why Trump would lower taxes on big corporations (which are owned by rich people).  Because he said  that's how you can create jobs, jobs, jobs!  You may not agree with him on that.....but what he has in plan is not a crime. There's nothing even wrong with it, if that's what he truly thinks will create more jobs.

If he did say he'll cut foreign aid and food stamps and school lunches.......there's nothing wrong with those either!  He didn't say he'll terminate foreign aid, and food stamps.  Even if he did terminate all those, I don't think there's anything wrong about that either - depending on his motivation!  I've never been President (even of a corporation), or a king, or a ruler.....so I wouldn't know much about issues they face.  But I do know that a good ruler must do what's good for his citizens.

It depends on motivation, Argus.  What motivates a person to do what he does - that's why only God can make those kind of judgements.

Anyway, I'm reminded of Jesus teachings -  one of which is that we have to depend on God.  You don't worry too much about what tomorrow will bring......

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[e]?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

See?  What you're promoting is "paganistic," if not socialist! :)

School lunches?  You're worried about school lunches???? What about people who can't even afford to have any food at all - and you worry about school lunches???  And,  hunger is hunger, Argus - regardless of age!

No one stops you of doing charitable works, Argus.  In fact, someone being forced to give for charitable reason, is not charity.  Charity has to come voluntarily.

2 Cor 9

Generosity Encouraged

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written:

“They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor;
    their righteousness endures forever.”[a]

Matt 6

Giving to the Needy

“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

College loans?  Why does it matter so much about college loans?

You must mean people MUST have high education (on the backs of other people to boot)....so they can land high-paying jobs that will enable them to buy all the material blitz this earthly and materialistic world has to offer!

That's worldly concerns, Argus.......the very thing that Jesus wants us to discard!

Here:

1 John 2

Do Not Love the World

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world.

If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life[a]—is not from the Father but is from the world.

17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

So, get your mind off worldly stuffs!  Stop promoting them!  They're stumbling blocks.

Anyway, you didn't mention that Trump will bring back VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS!  That doesn't cost too much, and it will help a lot of people who are more inclined to vocational stuffs!

You do know that Satan is said to be the "god" of this world, don't you?  That's biblical, Argus.  here, read this:

https://www.gotquestions.org/Satan-god-world.html

Everything that you've inaccurately accused Trump of saying, aren't against any of Jesus' teachings. You manipulated them to paint him the way you want him to look.

Bearing false witness against your neighbor (Trump), is a violation of the 10 Commandments.

Jesus will see in Trump's heart what really motivates him to do all that.

And, you've been lying!    Jesus would see thru that, too.

Satan tempts us with worldly things, and he's the master of deceptions and lies.

Worldly concerns - a stumbling block for so many of us, deceptions and lies in your allegations against Trump.  That's why I imagine  Jesus would be saying to you......

GET THEE BEHIND ME, SATAN!  You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.

Nothing wrong with giving a candidate the benefit of a doubt. Then again, it's kinda dumb to give him that benefit when he can't explain the first thing about his new health care policy. And it's laughably dumb to proclaim it five years later, after he's left office and still not done a damned thing about implementing this 'new affordable health care policy'

Still waiting for you to tell me about that phrase, you know the one, repeated word or word  in the bible three times because it's so important.

There will never be another President Trump.  Say what you like about him, you are forced to never be able to put his memory out of your mind.  And with the seismic shift back to the past, dyin' Biden,  many across the US are being confronted with the reality of how good Trump's term was.

They are growing tired of masks and then they see Biden not wearing them after signing mask mandates and saying things like, "we will lead by the power of our example!"  I don't think the honeymoon will be very long.  Even the rioters in Portland and Seattle hate him already.

Which reminds me.  Lets see how quickly the Dems go from condemning rioting and trying to impeach for it, to shrugging their shoulders at it while the businesses of voters burn.  Somewhere Trump is saying, "Miss me yet?"

I wouldn't bother with Argus, Betsy.  He's a mocker and a scoffer, and those do not listen to reason.  They just listen to their own scoffing.  Since this thread is concerning what the Bible is saying, here's what it says about mockers and scoffers.

Acts 13:41

Behold, you despisers, marvel and perish!  for I work a work in your days,
A work which you will by no means believe, though one were to declare it to you.

Proverbs 22:10

Cast out the scoffer, and contention will leave; yes, strife and reproach will cease.

Proverbs 19:29
Judgments are prepared for scoffers, and blows for the back of fools.

Proverbs 15:12
A scoffer does not love one who reproves him, he will not go to the wise.

Isaiah 29:20
For the ruthless will come to an end and the scorner will be finished, indeed all who are intent on doing evil will be cut off;

Proverbs 29:8
Scorners set a city aflame, but wise men turn away anger.

Proverbs 9:8
Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you, reprove a wise man and he will love you.

Isaiah 28:22
And now do not carry on as scoffers, or your fetters will be made stronger;
for I have heard from the Lord God of hosts of decisive destruction on all the earth.

From what I understand about the Bible, interacting with mockers and scoffers is of no benefit, in fact it can negatively affect our walk.
