The rise of Red China...

You know what else is Red ?  Kool Aid.  And Republican things... MAGA hats...

Trump charged the American taxpayer for his retarded trade war and the China US trade deficits continues in the record territory staked out during Trump's administration.

Trump kept quiet on China squeezing Hong Kong because he ws negotiating that bad trade deal.

Trump told the Chinese leader that putting Uighurs in camps was a good idea (from Bolton)

I'll say this: Trump bullshits about China more than anyone and convinces his cult that he's tough on them more than anyone.  They don't even care about his Chinese bank account.

Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase !

I think it's a defeat for Western values and civilization. The rise of Red China...the people that solve problems with tanks...is apparently desired and welcomed.

I am bewildered by why you think Trump was doing anything but helping the Chinese. He has ceded influence to China across the Pacific while making braying noises about Chinese trade - which has INCREASED. Their trade surplus with the US is greater than ever. Trump never cared about China. He only made mouth noises because he figured that would get him votes. Remember that he outsourced production to China himself, as did his daughter. His son made a billion dollar deal for Chinese financing for a Trump named theme park in Malaysia, and Trump promptly removed sanctions from a Chinese phone company.

China is moving across the world, unchecked by the Americans, striking deals, bribing heads of state, taking possession of their ports and airports when they can't pay, threatening neighbors, expanding its influence, getting richer and more powerful, and the US under Trump has done NOTHING to oppose any of that.

Do you realize how utterly unimportant this sort of thing is? You think the Chinese really give a crap? Besides, none of that was even Trump. The law imposing sanctions came from congress and was passed with a veto-proof majority. And treating Hong Kong the same as the rest of China was inevitable. Other countries had already made that decision.

My distaste for Communism predates anything Trump.

I remember Tiananmen Square...though nobody else seems to.

I do, and my distaste of Communism is pretty old, too. Though I don't think of the Chinese as being actual communists any more. They're moving more towards Fascism. I'd love to see them challenged. But Trump wasn't doing it.

Ok, if you say so. Back a couple months ago it was anything Trump against China was wrongheaded. Now the narrative changes to it wasnt his idea.

I have a memory; I remember.

Honestly...we've got folks in Canada who think Orange Man Bad...therefore...Red China good. It's really that simple...and stupid. I don't care if you hate Trump. He's not Xi or those idiot Biden mobsters.

You seem to be AlwaysWrong when it comes to Trump. Not to mention when it comes to what people have said about him and China. I have said for a long time that his idiotic attempt to browbeat China into submission with tariffs was pointless. I have written about how China is expanding its influence across the world unchecked by an undermanned US state department, and by a US administration which does not seem to care.

Your belief Biden is somehow in bed with China seems absurd given you ignore the deals Trump and his family have made with China WHILE IN OFFICE. Also, your complaints about Biden's possible (even likely) corruption seems silly given Trump's behavior and that of his organization over the last many decades.

I mean, all US senators and congressmen are corrupt. It's a singularly corrupt system. But Trump was more obvious, open and stupid about his corruption.

Again...my dislike of Red China and Communism predates your Trump Derangement.

As for the Biden(s)...never heard of him really before Obama. Then I learned about him and his odd family. Now there's a good ol' boy...his picture is right next to the definition. You scratch my back...I'll scratch yours...on an INDUSTRIAL scale. I have to admire his graft. It's truly stunning.

Seems he managed to keep his shenanigans under the radar quite well. A good little VP.

Trump derangement results in blindness, as well.

Then you must love the Trump's Grift.

I guess as long as one’s corruption is well concealed, yet they present a smiling, trustable face and mannerism, it works for you.

Corruption abounds in politics. Moving past naive puritanism, it comes down to their political agenda at large, who they agree with, and who likes them.

China did not like Trump. He openly opposed them. But he was ineffective because of said corruption, too many politicians on both sides financially in bed with the Sinoese.

I've followed Trump since the 1980s when he started making splashes. Always fun to watch. Never thought I'd see him as President...well he proved Doonesbury wrong...and I LOVE Doonesbury. Duke is my spirit animal.

So how come so much of the Trump family fashion line and all those MAGA hats even the official ones are made in China??

The wackier lefties are saying some very Gulagy sorts of things. You're right about the Nazis...earlier post.

It's a thin line. Heydrich was an orchestra conductor before being chosen to head Interpol...and beyond.
