According to data on the site posted by Boges the last few days deaths were recorded at 1123, 467, 567. Canada is recording less new cases per day than the US is recording deaths. Usually by half! Actions seen in Canada like mask mandates and a slow phased re-opening approach are a direct reaction to seeing how the US approach has failed. Sorry if you don't like that, but each jurisdiction will determine what it wants to do. Liberty means more in the U.S. than in Canada.
