Nefarious Banana Posted December 18, 2019 Report Posted December 18, 2019 Solstice is the real earth celebration . . . . sadly hijacked by the Christians and other delusionals. Happy humbug. 1 Quote

It’s just sad now. Quote

For Canadians, it's the best day of the year: The days get longer from there, the darkness subsides. Nobody is saying it replaces any religious celebration. It's just a very human reason to celebrate, to be thankful, a reason we all share across all religions ... or no religion. Nothing religious or dogmatic about it, no 'faith' or 'beliefs' required. It's just a physical fact of our earth that we all enjoy ... especially in the north. 1 Quote

Shady, the solstice will come and go . . . . be happy, sad, or indifferent. Who cares what or how you spend that day. Perhaps you could spend the solstice wandering around in the bush looking for a 'perfect' little tree to kill. Decorate it with a bunch of meaningless baubles and wait for the shower of 'gifts' from others that 'buy-in' to the Christian hijacked fake 'holiday' . . . . just a suggestion. Quote
