I'm sure we are awake, but in Canada the media ensures that we are kept to our internet dungeons, the state run media party will never acknowledge an opposition.

I am not sure as to whether Canadians are awake. After all, they did put that fool back in power again.The Canadian MSM party is the enemy of we the people. They have been bought off by our so called freedom loving politicians. The day when Canadians have the right to Citizen Initiated Referendum, and the right to Recall is the day when Canada will become a free country once again. It works well in Switzerland and in many American states. But there is not one politician will ever support such a thing. Imagine if that were to happen? Geez, the people would have the say, and not the politicians anymore. Our politicians appear to prefer that Canada become more communist rather than become a free country with less government. 

I read the other day on the Canadian Taxpayer's Federation website that our former Governor General of Canada Adrienne Clarkson still has an expense account even though she resigned as the GG of Canada in 2005, and still to this day, she has billed the Canadian taxpayer's over $100,000 tax dollars every year. It now has amounted to over $1.1 million tax dollars since 2005 and she has been allowed to charge any and all expenses to the Canadian taxpayer's under some government retirement policy that says that all retired GG's can continue to submit expenses after they leave office. How is that for ripping off we the people?

Because people want their handouts from the government, and since interest rates are being kept artificially low, there is no price to pay in the near term.

This policy stimulus is not sustainable, at some point it will either have to be curtailed restulting in stagflation, or it will incite negative interests rates and a deflationary spiral

Nothing is going to change so long as Canadians can continue to live in fiscal la-la-land.

When the worm turns, so the political pendulum will swing back hard as well.
