So then isn't Canadian as you claimed.

The trustees of course only award the Cup to American teams now, so again, possession is nine tenths of the law.

For some time yes they have awarded the cup to american teams full of Canadian players.

What are you talking about?  The CBC is wall to wall American political coverage, the CBC never shuts up about Trump, the CBC is basically CNN North now.

Funny I watch cbc everyday and I dont see any of that.  I think your mixing up the c with a n?

Scheer said "we would expect that other parties would respect the fact that whichever party wins the most seats gets to form the government and that they will understand that if Canadians — when Canadians endorse our platform, we will have the right to implement it."
""We're not going to ask other parties for support,"

HUNH?!?!?!?
How the hell is he going to implement the Conservative agenda with a minority - ie, without enough votes to pass even one piece of legislation - unless he seeks votes from other parties?
He has no idea how minority government even works? Lol  Useless. And won't stand for the anthem for "all of us". Dumb & yuck factors really growing.

So ... Liberal.

I want to see unwhipped voting, issue by issue. : )
I think only major issues -budget, war?- are no confidence votes?

I want to see EMay propose this legislation first chance:
Developing and implementing a just transition plan for workers in fossil fuel sectors, championed by a lead minister who oversees and reports on progress.

Who's gonna say no? : )

And ... 30% of fossil fuel subsidies shifted to transition and renewables.

That's all.

/end rant :)

As far as I am concerned, the party that gets the most votes should win the election, and be the government for the next four years. No more of this so called nonsense minority governments anymore. No more two party's being able to team up together to try and bring the party elected down. It's the common sense and logical thing to do. But then again this is Canada, don't you know? Their is nothing that appears to make any common sense or logic in this country anymore. Just more of the same old political bull chit. Just four more years of shafting and giving the finger to we the stunned sheeple. A minority Scheer government will mean that withing the next two years there will be another election. Oh the joy of it all once again.

If you look for American media in Canada, you can find far more of it than anyone can absorb.  Thankfully, our default media is Canadian, so we get to hear Canadian stories and creations.  We used to have to enforce Canadian content to ensure a minimum level of airplay.   Not so anymore.  Much of the music and even a good portion of TV and books Canadians choose to enjoy is Canadian.  Loads of international hitmakers.  In politics Canada is the progressive cool kid.  Legal pot.  Relatively harmonious society.  Booming economy.  Safe streets.

Keep your guns down south.  Blackface still garners more positive headlines than Trump.

The CBC is obsessed with Trump just like you and every other Canadian, if you feel the need to lie about it, I guess you must be ashamed for some reason.

Lol the only thing I like about trump is that he amuses me with his stupidity and tom foolery.  It's like a free clown show.

America had legal weed first, the American legal weed is way better than Canadian government weed, and I'm sitting right here with an American made Smith & Wesson 686 on my desk as I type this, right up in your kitchen, biiiitch.

Agreed.  He’s the unhinged dinner guest.  Fun to watch from the end of the table, but you’re always waiting to be called upon to ask him to leave or carry him out.  No one wants that dirty job.  Easier to buy popcorn and watch the fireworks.

Me too.  Plus he appointed Gorsuch and Kavanaugh and he's gonna replace RBG too.

Pretty sure it's a rule now.  I mean, how could it not be?  Surely Canada is not failing the win the cup for a quarter century by sheer incompetence and stupidity?

No matter what happens with Monday's election, Trump and Trumpian things (e.g. "populism") will still be in the Canadian media mix.

They will even ask how will the new government "handle" Trump...or at least minimize Trump's impact.

Good luck with that....

And I will bet that it is costing the Canadian taxpayer's hundreds of millions if not billions to try and keep Canadian content alive and well in Canada. When a country has to help subsidize and support it's so called Canadian talent and push it's Canadian content with help from the government, tells me that it is not worth the time of day to be wasting my tax dollars on. Canada is not really all that much worth anything anymore anyway. Canada just mopes along, and somehow it just keeps going on like the bunny rabbit for some unknown strange reason. Canada is progressive alright. Everything Canada does is so far to the left that it cannot be very much longer before Canada tips over and sinks like the Titanic. Just a matter of time.

The best is the competition between the lefties as to who would fight Trump more, as if Canada has any leverage whatsoever.

Big Daddy Trump President of Canada is in Canadians heads, even bigger troll job on them than on the Democucks.

Right...they will blame Trump when it all comes crashing down...a resurgent Bloc...support for Bernier...climate change deniers...trade tariffs....China's kicking Canada's ass....Alberta separatism....all Trump's fault !

Damn that Trump !

Monday will be a big day for the Canadian media, and also for Trump. The Canadian media will have the election to talk about all day long. Trump finally gets a day off from those Canadian media bozos, especially the bozos at the CBC, who have their so called journalists and reporters always reporting something on Trump every day ad nauseum from Washington. There is not two days that can go by where the CBC stays quiet and leaves Trump alone. It will be back to Trump as usual though with the Canadian media the next day after the election. I will bet that the American media will be reporting for just one day that Canada has a new or old PM. Then they will also get back to bashing Trump once again. Liberals are such pathetic losers.

Lulz,   Canadians can't take responsibility for anything, the fragile national psyche is all about pretending their shit don't stink.

Canada is one neurotic country, tell you what.

Trudeau just ain't comfortable in his own skin, he's such an awkward and odd feller, it's like he's kind of retarded or something, he talks funny, like he's slow.

And tomorrow, all those neurotic sheeple in Canada will be given the chance to vote, and most will be voting for someone who could careless about them. Most Canadians seem to think and feel that politicians really do care about their well being. I do believe that most Canadians do think that their shit does not stink. Of course, my shit smells like roses.

Canadians fancy themselves to be clever, like they are book smart, read some books, but they ain't street smart, Canadians are such rubes.

Canada is like Oz, and the GoC is the Great and Powerful Wizard

Even after they see the guys behind the curtain pulling the strings, even after so much sad failure,  Canadians still cling to their belief in the Wizard.

This is spot on....Trump is still in their heads....even in Chretien's head:

Quote

Former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, speaking at an event for Liberal candidate Catherine McKenna, warned on Sunday against what he called “the Trump mentality” coming to Canada and cautioned against “appealing to the fear of people.”

How can a foreign president dominate politics in Canada so completely ?   Even during a domestic election.....

"In Canada's election, running against Trump is good politics."

Trump's a fraud. He's increase the deficit by 25% over Obama.

Real conservatives don't put up with that Crap.
