The Minnesota governor blocking the Trump event in progress leaving ALL those people at the gates probably flipped the state. A lot of folks saw that....Democrats.

You know, I'd almost forgive Minnesota, even if it doesn't vote Trump but does at least dump Omar. Crossing my fingers for Trump though. Wasn't he real close to a historic win in Minnesota last time?

BC-2004 is in a better position to comment...but that was pretty shocking. I'm sure those outside Omar's district noticed.

"I could have been the greatest of all time"

Don seems to simultaneously admit his done, and equate being the 'greatest' with raising funds...  At some point, will the sheeple realize they have been scammed by the greatest scam artist of all time ?  I guess that's sort of an honour.

Rep. Ilhan Omar has a significant advantage over her GOP rival (Lacey Johnson).   Her district includes many Somali Americans and is very blue (Democratic Party).   They want to defund the police even as crime soars in Minneapolis.  Police officers are retiring or taking disability to escape.

As in other swing states, President Trump's MN fate lies outside of the urban centers, where Trump-Biden campaign signs dominate.   The riots and looting in the Twin Cities hurt the governor and mayors because of their inaction, and this could help Trump.

Raising campaign funds has long been the political benchmark, long before Trump.   Hillary Clinton raised and spent far more than Trump in a losing effort.

There must have been at least 30k people at the gates...no way in. A cap of 250 had been suddenly placed...that'll show 'em.

Trump waved...jumped into the Beast...literally...and drove down to address the blocked crowd. Those few at the rally site cheered thunderously.

They then peacefully went home...and told two friends...my bet.

Money buys signs...not votes...unless you're in Omar's district and a few other sleazy types.

'The' benchmark ?  So the headline was about 'Dewey raising more funds than Truman' ?  Ok.

I wasn't going to bother but now I'll point out that video above we appear to be using as some sort of model is a deceptive edit.

I've seen that point by Trump made several times at the rallies so I can tell you what it actually is.

He's remarking how Biden and the Dems like to Puff themselves up boasting about all the money they raise. Trump makes the point the Dems have sold their souls to the moneyed elite of Wall Street to get that money. He also like to brag about how the Drug companies hate him for bringing down the price of drugs.

His claim on how he could be "the best" if he wanted to is a claim that he knows all those big money guys and if he wanted to sell out like the Dems did he could just call them up. He says he knows them all personally and could make deals. If he wanted to. But he doesn't, so he didn't.

That's because Trump has done far better with social media and direct digital, bypassing the traditional, more costly media advertising methods.    The Democrats are getting better at it, but their "base" is far more fragmented.

It also helps if you're campaigning against somebody like 'Hiden' Biden' who doesn't want to come out of his basement.

And even if he did, it doesn't look like too many people want to listen to him.

Meanwhile Trump whistle stops at as many as 5 locales a day to tens of thousands at each stop and not even social media can manage to censor the millions who have watched some of them online, or stop everybody from commenting on them.

Yeah, I mean, the virus is fake, and nobody is dying, so who cares, right? Let them all throng together and breath in each other's faces. No need for masks. Why, the virus is practically over, and it'll be gone in three days anyway and everyone will stop talking about it.

Putin and Xi will laugh their heads off and continue taking over the world while Trump starts firing everyone in the federal government he suspects of disloyalty, from Fauci to Wray and Haspel and Esper and Milley.

You’re still focusing on meaningless things.  Nobody cares about that brag.  Nobody cares about his other brags.  They’re irrelevant.  The only thing that’s relevant is policy.  As has been said a million times.  Trump supporters take his seriously but not literally.  Trump detractors take him literally but not seriously.

Trump has no policy. He has no platform. He was asked repeatedly what he hoped to accomplish in his second term and returned blank looks.

People wear masks. Fashionable MAGA ones, usually.

The only ones who wear masks are the ones standing behind him where the camera can see them. They're given those masks sometimes so they are seen on camera to be wearing them. But almost no one else is, which is why Trump mocked Laura Ingraham the other day for wearing one to his rally. If you look at his Florida rallies, almost no one is wearing masks.

You've never watched let alone been to a Trump rally.

Complete nonsense.  An all of the above energy policy.  Limits on immigration.  Actually enforcing immigration laws.  Trade deals favour America, like the new NAFTA.  Strengthening NATO by enforcing the funding promised to it by member countries.  School choice.  Implementing the Platinum plan.  The list goes on.  You don’t know because you choose not to.  You probably don’t even know what half those polices are.  I’d invite you to use google.  Regardless, you guy Biden tells people to wait until he’s elected to find out what his position is on certain issues.  Your Trump Derangement Syndrome is showing again.  You can disagree with his policies, but you can’t lie and say that there are none.  Because that’s a lie.  And you hate lies right?

This was an actual headline with the associated picture.  They ended up having to delete the tweet.  But we’re supposed to be worried about Russian disinformation?  Please.

He just takes CNN’s word for it.

You think they're doing CGI of crowds without masks?
