Not meaningless as every seat in Congress counts...as we've seen with the silly witch hunt. Majority in Congress? You can do all manner of stuff...President or not.

Perhaps the Republicans will take Congress and you'll see what I mean...in action.

The Dems are favoured to take Congress. But yes, Republicans can win more seats in Congress, which could be nice.

But these voters aren't helping Trump out very much.  Note, I'm just criticizing the Winner take all nature of the EC. That's all.

Wouldn't it be nice if a Republican District could dictate where their EC vote goes instead of the vote for the entire state?

There are down ballot races that matter.

But for POTUS, a large chunk of the US's POTUS vote is meaningless.

Why isn't Trump campaigning in New York if it was "in play".

Just to be clear, you're admitting their vote for Trump is irrelevant.

Good luck with that.

Thanks. Not sure they need it though:

The campaign of ex-cop and retired teacher John Cummings said the 14th Congressional District, covering portions of The Bronx and Queens, is populated with practical, working-class voters — not radical leftists like AOC.

“A well-funded candidate with an NYPD/education background and deep ties to the district can beat AOC,” reads a campaign strategy memo prepared by Cummings campaign manager Chapin Fay and consultant Corey Vale, under the heading, “Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Re-Election in Jeopardy.”

But to be honest, sure. There is a certain amount of "wishful thinking" with that one. The district is historically Blue.

On the other hand though, AOC isn't just nuts. She's also stupid.

Even in a Blue district these can be points in our favor.
