No he isn't.  You've been on here five minutes, how would you know?

I agree that freedom of speech is not as highly valued in many parts of the world as I would like.  My home country (UK) has shown itself to be particularly pathetic in that regard.

The general answer, surely, is for the West to get out of the Middle East and never go back, to abolish any offensive comment in public about anyone except the tories and to deport any jihadists to 'Israel' , all Zionist demonstrators to Iran.

In fact there IS a risk to yourself or any other Canadian dying as either a direct target of hate crime or as collateral damage.  Radical Islam is but one of many possible sources.  If you want predictability, I suppose you could join the social media circles of radicalized muslims, skinheads, aboriginals, you-name-it.   Fortunately, we pay RCMP and CSIS to do just that.

It's not the hate that kills you, it's the bullet/rock/knife/poison, etc.  The RCMP and CSIS are there to stop that, hopefully.  I hope they don't try and prevent people hating.

CSIS is there to know WHO is hating, the RCMP are supposed to be there to stop them from carrying out the hateful acts that CSIS is supposed to predict.  Reality is: take away the hate (or more to the point send it home) and you take away the mechanism that drives the act(s).

Sunny Ways gets the latter part 100%  backwards.

How do you take away the hate?  Buy them cookies?  A puppy?

Ah well.... Again I've been accused of being a shill by people who shill that there is a fake 'crisis' at hand.  Let me ask you to put your money where you mouth is: when is the DEADLINE for action against said emergency ?  How much time do we have to act ?

Invariably, they do not answer such specifics because they are not telling the truth about some impeding danger.  Rather, they want to foment a constant campaign of mistrust against foreigners and non-Christians.  They even use the Jewish people as fodder in this campaign sometimes.

I would make it illegal to use foreign money to fund religious or cultural institutions in Canada, as well as any kind of political activism. Just as a start. That includes supplying free mullahs to the local mosque, salaries paid for by foreigners, or free religious books, booklets and pamphlets (as one example). No foreigners building religious institutions or setting up university study centres to propagate their message. I think I would also require, for tax purposes, any religious institution, be it a church, temple, mosque, or whatnot, which wished to claim tax exemption, have only Canadian citizens in charge. That means no foreign priests, mullahs or whatnot.

CSIS has limited jurisdiction and capabilities. Its the first to admit its crippled because of its budget,Charter of Rights limitations let alone domestic laws as to privacy and properly obtained criminal evidence. In reality  I bet you probably know as much as CSIS does in terms of who spews hatred about what and where.

Next, sending hatred home is a naïve concept. If it was that simple we wouldn't have the elaborate networks and syndicates between organized crime, drug cartels, and terrorist cells and their funding sources like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia, the US, Turkey  and so on.

Western nations, Russia, China, etc., as well as Iran and Saudi Arabia get into bed with organized crime, drug syndicates, terrorists. Its all one maze of interconnected bribes and kickbacks. Borders mean nothing to its movement of weapons, sex slaves, slave labour, drugs, weapons, money.

You want to shut down terrorism, you'd have to close every damn bank in the world. You might want to start with Venezuela and Switzerland, Monaco, Luxembourg, France, Isle of Mann, Bermuda,  Cypriot and Turkish banks, , Cayman Islands, and while you are at it all of Russia, Mexico,  Argentina, Brazil, China.Good luck.

Figures you'd get someone else to do your dirty work for you.

Sure, I don't care what you do to religions, as long as you don't try and take away an individual's right to their beliefs.  They can still hate though.

So, your solution is to do  nothing and allow our government to continue to roll out the welcome mat and facilitate ongoing funding of terrorism?

So I see trudeau gave back the citizenship to that convicted terrorist.
