Nationalist Groups in Canada

What happens next door almost, always ends up happening here.   Right on the heels of Charlottesville rally, a nationalist group had announced a rally on September at the University of Toronto.

Right wing extremism is on the rise - which shouldn't come as a surprise.  I've been saying it for a decade now, that the pendulum tend to swing from one extreme end to the other.  Extreme left wing ideology  and extreme right wing.

U of T says no 'nationalist rally' to be hosted on campus, not ruling out possibility

Event 'the beginning of something more,' researcher on right-wing extremism says

A Facebook page for the "Toronto Nationalist Rally" describes the event as scheduled to take place on Sept. 14 on the university grounds.

"Join us ... as we discuss the nationalist movement in Canada the future of our country," says the page for the event hosted by the Canadian Nationalist Party.

The page also says "anyone who violates the freedom of expression or the physical well-being of another person will be immediately escorted out and handed over to law enforcement."

The website for the Canadian Nationalist Party — not a registered political party in Canada — outlines a 21-point platform calling for the removal of the "destructive stance of multiculturalism" from the Charter and the formation of a national citizen militia for the purpose of "self-defense [sic]," among other things.

Perry says while the white supremacist movement may be more "muted" in Canada, she's starting to see such groups operate in a much more public way.

"We're certainly seeing a dramatic shift," she said, adding that she's already heard of two demonstrations planned for later this month.

"They're becoming ever bolder, I think, and quite happy and quite comfortable being in the public eye."

What would you do if someone create an armed native-nationalist group attacking Canadian police and soldiers, even civilians ? Because technically you are invaders there in Canada according to today's understanding of politics.

Then hand Turkey back to its "rightful owners"...the Greeks/Macedonians

Extreme left isn't an influential presence.  That is just a rationalization for fascists.

From what I've read 20% of the NDP caucus are extreme Left and want to nationalize industries, including the banks and auto industries. How much of a presence do you think Nazis hold in the Conservative party?

Not just Turkey. Syria was a Christian land, as well. So was Egypt, for well over a thousand years, in fact, until Muslim invaders took over.

It was all non-Muslim.

Before Islam, Allah was a local Moon god of the Arabs.

How come American natives cannot organize to start a freedom movement while any groups around the World can do such things, even the ones has no right to do so. Because these poor oppressed people are not supported by any countries there in America. They are isolated, stuck and massacred.

What would you think if Latina countries and Russia support them strategically and logistically ?

Who says they can't organize a movement?  They've done their protests, too.

It may not be influential. Since you have not been the target of extreme and not so extreme leftist discrimination on campus, you might have a bias as to whether it influences let alone if it influences..

I would on this one agree with Besty that the left's intolerance and the right's intolerance can be  a reaction to each other's views-I don't think they operate independently of one another.

Ask that of Armenians or Kurds in regards to Turkey and get back to me. It will help me shape my answer.
