New evidence about Obama birth certicate

I just received a link to You Tube that  of sheriff Joe Arpaio's press conference that new evidence has come forth to prove the birth certifcate  given is not real.

I can't understand how a country which is supposed to be a technological super-power is so inept at things like that. Not just that but take censuses; filling in forms every 10 years. The result of the censuses and reality could be tens of millions of people apart from each other.

I have no knowledge or opinion about where Obama was born. But I do have a lot of knowledge with respect to forged documents, as that is basically what I do for a living.

Without question, the "official" birth certificate that was released was doctored. It was a really poorly done job too.

Arpaio isn't sheriff. He was defeated - by Latino voters. Ha. He was always a demented wack job and birther kook and has been charged with criminal contempt of court for ignoring court orders while he was sheriff. I wouldn't believe him if he told me the sun was going to rise in the east.

All this is tinfoil-stuff but many people who went to law school at the same time and in the same place as Obama have said they can't remember ever having met or seen Obama during their time at the law school. Not that it would be a proof of anything as it isn't. Just saying.

It's a very nasty thing that people who are not happy about who is the President are doing their best to undermine the presidency of that person or even create an impression that the person's presidency is illegitimate in the first place.

People who don't like Obama have been going on about this birth certificate-issue and now when Trump takes over he will doubtlessly be reminded of how the Russians hacked the election, which of course is total bullshit, but if going on about it weakens Trump then it is somehow accepted.

Yes, it is tinfoil stuff from 2008 when Foxnews interviewed someone who went to Columbia but was in a different year than Obama and couldn't remember him therefore they concluded he didn't go. That was long ago disproved when many others came forward.

Anybody with any credibility in this field would concede you can't make judgements "without question" when you haven't seen the actual documents.

The fact that I haven't seen the actual documents is the point. The digital image that was officially released was poorly photoshopped. I have no idea why. Perhaps the actual documents have the same pertinent information. Perhaps there's a different reason why the official image was manipulated.

Based on what evidence? The former sheriff talks about stuff he has absolutely no knowledge. He talks about kerning, saying it didn't occur before computers but that is 100% false. In fact the term kern comes from metal type, it referred to the part of the letter that overhangs beyond the block edge itself. While in this case we are talking about typewriters and not movable type, the fact is that IBM typewriters were doing proportional typing as early as 1941 with the model 04, long before Obama was born. Anybody who grew up using typewrites also knows that it was common to manually position a page when making corrections so even without proportional type, overlap in the letter spacing was not uncommon.

Sheriff dingbat Joe compares the type on Obama's birth certificate with a woman born in the same hospital a couple of weeks later. The similarities of the type have him conclude that Obama's is a fake. The simple explanation that perhaps the same typewriter was used in both cases seems to escape his single brain cell.

How many times have Sheriff Joe and his "posse" promised "universe-shattering" revelations regarding Obama? How many times have they failed to deliver?  Friday's press conference once again left the universe remarkably un-shattered. Friday's press conference is remarkable only in confirming how thoroughly unshattering Sheriff Joe's work has been.

Maricopa County has literally hundreds of rape cases that have never even been opened because "he didn't have the manpower", yet he's wasted his manpower and resources and taxpaper money on this idiocy for 8 years, and still has little to show for it. It has, however, helped him bilk enough money out of suckers to fund his re-election campaigns. Maybe he's now reviving this because he's now facing jail time for contempt of court over repeated civil rights violations.

Sheriff Joe is the idol of idiot-worshippers. If you're looking to Sheriff Joe to finally deliver "universe-shattering" revelations after years and years of failure, you're a colossal sucker. There's no other word for it. Sorry.

Obviously you have zero understanding of flatbed scanner technology. You are aware are you not that there is not a single sensor array that spans the width of the document, but several. That artifact is generated by stitching those sensor arrays into a single wide image. If you understood semiconductor manufacturing, you would know that creating a single wide sensor array would be very difficult technically and extremely costly. Put down you conspiracy theory books, and start learning about technology.
