Well, I support most of Trump’s positions, not because of the audacity of his persona, but because he sees the problems and is trying to do something, anything to get it fixed. He is infuriating a large group of elites that want him to do nothing; they are perfectly satisfied with things the way they are. His brash manner is a wake up call to these do-nothing phonies manning Washington, DC and they hate him for it. America and its government is sick, and required cures are painful. Quote

My goodness, there are tons of things Trump can be successfully criticized for. But his critics, in their drooling rabidity to get him out of office, seized upon the crackpot conspiracy theory Du Jour that was floating out there when he took office, and chomped on it like a rabid dog, and continued to drool and bite into it months after it already died. And the left’s other favorite sport is calling political dissenters racists or white supremacists. A far more restrictive immigration policy is supported by most Americans. African Americans support the policies espoused by Stephen Miller over those of Chuck Schumer by about a 2 to 1 margin. And yet such views are called “white nationalist”. So leftist actually claim that most black people in this country are white nationalists. The left is absolutely insane, and will wipe out the human race if not stopped. It’s political power needs to be scaled down to a level that it deserves- instead of dominating the country’s politics and culture, it needs to have the status of a small, dangerous extremist clique. -TSS- Posted January 31, 2018 Report Posted January 31, 2018 I listened to Trump's state of the union speech and the most notable thing was that there was too much clapping. It really started to get annoying. Quote
Boges Posted January 31, 2018 Report Posted January 31, 2018 The clapping was super annoying. He's such a weird man. Quote

Quote Many Raptors fans felt that once his contract expired in Minnesota that some sort of a deal would be made to bring him home but it turns out that Wiggins is another name on a long list of Toronto born athletes that don’t want to come home to play in Toronto. https://raptorsrapture.com/2017/07/20/andrew-wiggins-negotiations-re-sign-minnesota/ Trump's speech was fine with or without the clapping....he wasn't trying to please Canadian or Mexican illegals ! Who says Toronto wants him? Just because he's a hometown boy I suppose. In fairness the Timberwolves have a good young team, but the Raptors are better. As for the Speech, I remember Republicans clowning Obama for always using a teleprompter. It seems Trump can only act like an adult when using a teleprompter, like last night. Trump is very keen on rolling back Obama's "legacy", with or without a teleprompter. Raptors play in the weak NBA east. I've never been to Toronto, but many Canadians say the "GTA" sucks. Boges Posted January 31, 2018 Report Posted January 31, 2018 Actually beyond the top 2 (Warriors and Rockets) the West, the conferences are comparable. It's just that the Warriors are going to win no matter what. Quote

Absolutely, that is why one needs to not take all content on face value. A high intellect individual is capable of watching propaganda and deciding on it applicability/validity. Quote

I'm sure that "high intellect" elitists watched it all very carefully and are still trying to figure out how Donald Trump kicked all their political asses. 1 Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
