So the Israeli air force has managed to kill two more Palestinian terrorists.

http://af.reuters.co...s/idAFKCN0WE09Y

The girl, 6 year old Israa Abu Khosa, died in hospital on Saturday afternoon having succumbed to critical injuries sustained during the attack. Her brother Yassin, aged 10 years old died earlier. That will teach those young two terrorists a lesson. You can bet they won't be shooting wonky rockets at their Israeli captives!

When are we going to get those Zionists into the world court for war crimes!

In spite of the continuing Israeli suppression of Palestinians, from the rubble of Israeli attacks a few sparks still shine:

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2016/03/palestinian-refugee-teacher-wins-1m-teaching-award-160313190506700.html

A Palestinian teacher who grew up in a refugee camp in Bethlehem has been awarded a prestigious $1m teaching award by Dubai's ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the prime minister of the UAE. Hanan al-Hroub, from Samiha Khalil High School in al-Bireh, Palestine, received the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize 2016 from Sheikh Maktoum and Sunny Varkey, founder of the Varkey Foundation, in Dubai on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Israelis continue in their program of cultural genocide:

Israeli war crimes continue:

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2016/03/israel-seizes-234-hectares-land-west-bank-160315133241395.html

Israel has grabbed one of the largest Palestinian land plots in the occupied West Bank, an Israeli watchdog has said in a statement following the revelation by the Israeli Army Radio. The anti-settlement NGO Peace Now said on Tuesday that the Israeli government has seized 234 hectares of land in an area south of Jericho on March 10. The group added that plans for expanding nearby Jewish settlements and building tourism and other commercial facilities in the area were already on Israel's drawing board.

Yet here in Canada we sit in dismay as the Palestinian culture and country are slowly disappearing.

We are not part of the solution so we have to be part of the problem.

Time for Canada to boycott Israel just as we successfully boycotted Apartheid in South Africa.

Why not urge Canada to boycott the United States....Israel's biggest ally and provider of military and economic aid ? Surely this enables and emboldens Israeli actions in the "occupied territories".

Wait...I think we know why.

I'm glad this forum has one more thread on this topic. As with all previous threads on this topic, I expect a high level of reasoned debate and intelligent commentary.

Of course it did not take Big Guy very long to resurrect the anti-Israel thread after directing insults at posters who disagree with his comments.
Still not a peep from Big Guy about;
1- the evil perpetrated by Bashar Assad on the Syrians for the last year and a half;
2- the turmoil, inhumanity, civil wars in Congo, Sudan, Afghanistan, Pakistan-India, Yemen, Bahrain, Nigeria, Mali, Niger, Chad, Libya, Chechnya;
3- on-going Muslim conflicts in China, Russia and the Philippines;
4- Muslim civil wars and terror attacks;
5- the continuing suppression of Iranian democracy and violation of their human rights;
6- any where on our planet where inhumanity is causing far greater agony and bloodshed than it is in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and/or Gaza.
This thread and the other use the pretext of the words “ Israeli crime” to;
1-blame all Jews, anyone who supports Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish nation, Israelis as criminals;
2-remove specific incidents from their actual context, cause and effect, slap on the label criminal to them, then use that as the basis of stereotype to then slur anyone and everyone as a criminal who supports Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish nation,.
If his arguments were used on all peoples equally and not just Israelis or Jews, this would also mean all Palestinians should not have a nation because of the attacks of violence and terror by Palestinians and all Muslim nations should be disbanded for their criminal actions and all Muslims who are citizens of these nations as he portrays Israelis are all criminals and all Iranians are criminals.
Of course if people engaged in the same slurs he does using the same process he does with Jews and Israelis to others, he’d be the first to call it Islamophobia, racism, etc.
So I state again the very selectivity of what he chooses to be righteous about speaks directly in proving his lack of credibility and bias.
Let’s call Big Guy’s continuing exercise for what it is:
“…the so-called "new anti-Semitism" poses a unique challenge. Whereas classical anti-Semitism is aimed at the Jewish people or the Jewish religion, "new anti-Semitism" is aimed at the Jewish state. Since this anti-Semitism can hide behind the veneer of legitimate criticism of Israel, it is more difficult to expose. Making the task even harder is that this hatred is advanced in the name of values most of us would consider unimpeachable, such as human rights.
Nevertheless, we must be clear and outspoken in exposing the new anti-Semitism. I believe that we can apply a simple test - I call it the "3D" test - to help us distinguish legitimate criticism of Israel from anti-Semitism.
The first "D" is the test of demonization. When the Jewish state is being demonized; when Israel's actions are blown out of all sensible proportion; when comparisons are made between Israelis and Nazis and between Palestinian refugee camps and Auschwitz - this is anti- Semitism, not legitimate criticism of Israel.
The second "D" is the test of double standards. When criticism of Israel is applied selectively; when Israel is singled out by the United Nations for human rights abuses while the behavior of known and major abusers, such as China, Iran, Cuba, and Syria, is ignored; when Israel's Magen David Adom, alone among the world's ambulance services, is denied admission to the International Red Cross - this is anti-Semitism.
The third "D" is the test of delegitimization: when Israel's fundamental right to exist is denied - alone among all peoples in the world - this too is anti-Semitism.”
source: NATAN SHARANSKY, http://www.jcpa.org/phas/phas-sharansky-f04.htm
Big Guy’s continuing slur of all Israelis speaks to its discriminatory stereotyping of Jews for choosing to live in a Jewish state.. His words that he repeats over and over can be summarized as” Jews of Israel are criminals BECAUSE THREY HAVE A JEWISH STATE.” He removes specific incidents out of their context, and throws them out believing this provides him the cover to call all Israelis criminals. That’s it.
It is precisely because;
1- he criticizes no other people as criminals for choosing to be a national state but Jews; and
2- he uses isolated incidents to slur all Israelis as criminals;
That he renders his words anti-semitic and bigoted.
Let’s be clear when he hides behind the name “Israel” and the prertext” I am only criticizing Israel” he is not. His words clearly demonstrate 1 and 1 above which are bigoted anti-semitic utterances. If we was in fact criticizing Israeli state policies he would state the policy and not slur all Jews or the entire nation.

Not everyone in the world is ignoring the outrageous continuing murders of Palestinians by Israelis:

http://video.aljazeera.com/channels/eng/videos/palestinian-attack-survivor-to-meet-real-madrid-stars/4803779572001

The family of five-year-old Ahmed Dawabsheh were all killed in an arson attack by cowardly Israeli settlers last year. The boy, from the occupied West Bank, will be travelling to Madrid to meet one of the most famous athletes in the world: Cristiano Ronaldo.

And the West continues to look the other way.

Shame!

PS It appears that someone managed to get the previous thread about this issue shut down. That is an interesting ploy often used by the zealots and I am surprised that the mods fell for it.

I will continue to post facts, incidents and verified Israeli actions and leave it to the readers to create their own opinions.

A week after Khalid's injury, on March 14, 14-year-old Adi Kamal Salamah was shot in the chest with live fire during clashes in al-Mazraa al-Gharbiya village, northwest of Ramallah. The boy was taken to hospital in severe but critical condition, medics at the Palestinian Medical Complex told Al Jazeera. An Israeli army spokesperson said the boy was shot during a "violent riot" in which "20 Palestinians hurled stones and cement blocks."

And the Israelis wonder where suicide bombers come from.

When is Canada going to wash its hands of any association with this rogue country?

The Canadian government will continue as is, until the public becomes aware of Israel's atrocities.

Here is an update on the arson attack that killed a whole family:

Over the weekend arsonists set ablaze the home of a high-profile Palestinian witness scheduled to testify against Israeli settlers charged with firebombing the home of his relatives in the West Bank village of Duma last summer.

In January after claims of heel-dragging that amounted to allegations of government officials providing political cover to suspects, Israeli state prosecutors charged Amiram Ben Uliel, 21, and a 17-year old unidentified suspect with three counts of murder, attempted murder and arson. As is customary in Israel the name of the minor was withheld by police.

The trial against the accused began in February and is regarded by Palestinians as a litmus test for how Israel will deal with the growing trend of radical Israeli settlers. According to Israeli police Ben Uliel and the other defendant are members of a clandestine anti-government group that aspired to destabilize the state by using force against Palestinians, would-be hate crimes that are locally called “price tag attacks.”

The town of Duma is in Area C, which is under the jurisdiction of Israeli police. Now, imagine if it was a settler who was attacked.

It was nice to see Bernie Sanders snub AIPAC and instead spend his time discussing the settlements, the poverty in Palestine and the stolen tax revenue and other grievances which inevitably cause more violence against poor innocent everyone-hates-me-for-no-reason Israel.

Bernie Sanders will never be U.S. president, but even as a U.S. Senator, he has never backed up his previous Chomskyesque talk with votes against arms for Israel in defense of the Palestinians:

....Sanders spokesperson Michael Briggs said, “Bernie does not and has not ever supported cutting off arms to Israel and that has never been his position.”

If you go strictly by how the senator votes, that is very true; Sanders does not vote against military aid to Israel, even if he has floated it on a number of occasions. But the tension between Sanders' words, his actions and the statement put out by his press secretary points to a wider issue: his inability to stand up on the issue when it counts.

The most glaring example of this is a raucous town hall he held in the summer of 2014. While he condemned Israeli attacks against United Nations schools, he also defended the wider Israeli war, and even tried to deflect attention from the conflict by talking about ISIS. As his constituents grew more and more angry, he threatened to call the police on them.

Here:

source:http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/International_Jewish_conspiracy

Anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists often focus on Zionism and the founding of Israel, or on denying the existence or scale of the Holocaust and claiming it is a myth fabricated or exaggerated to serve Jewish interests. Believers in an international conspiracy often claim that Jews are secretly running the United States government in collaboration with Israel. They point to examples of wealthy Jews in the financial sector and other industries (the Rothschild family regularly appears in these theories), and to the apparently disproportionate numbers of Jews involved in the movie industry in Hollywood.

If it is even true that Jews are disproportionately represented in business, one must be careful to note that correlation does not equal causation. In the Western world until the 19th century, the largely Christian populations obeyed a religiously-motivated prohibition on charging interest on loans, with the role of banker historically falling on Jewish businessmen who were sometimes even specifically licensed by sovereigns to charge interest. To assume that the disproportionate number of Jews involved in finance proves they're engaging in a Zionist conspiracy through manipulation of capitalism is to ignore the historic role of Jews in banking due to the Christian prohibition against usury.

Individual theories vary widely. Many claim that "international Jewry" is in control of the Freemasons, Illuminati, and other real or perceived secret societies. Often the international Jewish conspiracy is portrayed as an active part of, or the major power behind, that greatest of all conspiracies, the New World Order.

Various anti-Semitic 9/11 conspiracy theories sprang up in the wake of the 9/11 attacks - especially among Neo-Nazis and Islamists - claiming that a Jewish or Israeli conspiracy was behind the attacks, or that the whole incident was faked in order to serve Jewish and Zionist interests. A common myth, spread by racist websites and chain emails, is that hundreds or even thousands of Jewish employees in the World Trade Center were forewarned of the attacks missed work on September 11th 2001.

Variations on these conspiracies that may not appear overtly anti-Semitic often have a latent Antisemitism about them as the words "Illuminati," "New World Order," "Zionists", "international bankers," "international monetary elite" and "financiers", "Cultural Marxists", "cultural elites" are Mad Libbed in for "Jews" and "international Jewry."

Much as many religious fundamentalists often use "Goddidit" to explain that which they cannot explain, conspiracy theorists will often use "Jewsdidit."

and:

In fact, psychological research suggests that we're all conspiracy theorists, thanks in a large part to our cognitive makeup. Brotherton says a series of innate cognitive biases are 'wired into our heads', dictating how conspiracy-minded we are.

'These traits of mind that we have, these shortcuts that our brains take ... they can lead us to suspect a conspiracy has occurred, whether it has or not.'

According to the psychologist, it all begins with our instinctive desire for control.

'This is something that we all suffer from, not just in the context of conspiracy theories, but we all want to feel like we have control over our circumstances and that we understand what's going on around us.

'When that feeling of control is stripped away for whatever reason ... then we look for other sources of control, what is called compensatory control.

'Conspiracy theories are one manifestation of this need ... we think that if we don't have control that at least somebody does, even if they don't have our best interests at heart.' ...

'Finding patterns is an ability that we rely on every moment of the day really,' he says. 'It's one of our brain's most remarkable abilities and it underlies all kinds of human endeavours.

'But sometimes our brain is so good at finding patterns that it finds patterns that aren't even really there. It can find patterns in randomness. Conspiracy theories might be an example of this, taking these events that happen in the world, this chaotic information, and finding the dots that seem to be connected.'

Then there's our 'intentionality bias' our brains' tendency to assume that any ambiguous event was intended, that somebody meant it to happen.

'There's research on this bias from developmental literature,' says Brotherton. 'It's been found that if you ask a child why did somebody sneeze or why did they trip over ... young children below the age of about four think that people meant to do that.

'Of course, as we get older, we learn that people don't always mean to sneeze or fall over, and so we become able to apply our knowledge and to override that bias.

'But what the research shows is that the bias is still there, it's still on the back of our mind and our brain is telling us, whispering in the back of our head that everything about this was intended. Somebody meant this to happen.'

Next on the list is 'proportionality bias', our brains' assumption that the causes of events must be as big or as important as the events themselves. JFK assassination conspiracy theories are a perfect example of this—many people find it hard to believe that the president of the United States was assassinated by a lone madman. Instead, they look to the KGB or the mafia—explanations that fit the scale of the crime."

There that's politer then my theory that states people who engage in conspiracy theories hate people they think have attributes the conspirators don't think they will ever have themselves and therefore are jealous and envious of including power and money.

There's also the simple Freudian theory that people who cling to conspiracy theories feel their penis is smaller than everyone else's and feel threatened by that and see big penises pointing at them wherever they look and are envious of these big penises. In the case of Jews the image of cicumscsion further fuels castration anxiety not just penis envy:

Looks like the rest of the world, in the form of the UN, is finally noticing the atrocities being committed by Israel:

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2016/03/condemns-gruesome-killing-wounded-palestinian-160325162939038.html

The Israeli government is having difficulty in explaining the video of Israeli soldiers assassinating a wounded and unarmed Palestinian. Canada should immediately disassociate itself from this rogue nation of Israel and wash our hands of its murderous acts.

Now what I find interesting is the very article Big Guy tries to use in his continuing fixation on Israel does not support what he says about Israel in fact it directly contradicts it showing Big Guy in fact misrepresents the very thing he claims.. In fact it showed the Israeli government did not at all have a problem explaining what happened and in fact openly discussed it.

The article mentions that a Palestinian attacked and stabbed (killed) an Israeli soldier and then another soldier who had arrived some six minutes later shot the attacker dead in the head.

So we start off with Bug Guy skipping over the fact that a terrorist was shot in the head. Big Guy ignored the full context of what the terrorist was doing before he was killed and that the soldier who clearly over acted was responding to the stabbing of a fellow soldier

Now this is the same Big Guy who in past posts has smeered all Israelis and the entire state of being criminal because of the alleged policies of their government. Yet no where in this article is there any reference to an Israeli government policy that caused the incident he now refers to..

The article he quotes did state:

"Three officers on the scene were also reprimanded for not treating the wounded Palestinian, a military spokesman said, noting that in the past six months some 170 Palestinians wounded during attacks or attempted attacks received medical treatment from army forces."

Ooops let's just skip over that. Never mind the soldier who shot the terrorist in the head or 3 others are being reviewed. Never mind what they did was not as a result of following an Israeli government policy. In Big Guy's on going campaign to smeer Jews for being Israeli he doesn't distinguish isolated acts and Israeli government policies.

He also ignored this comment from the article:

"Military chief of staff Lieutenant General Gadi Eisenkot said on Friday that the army gives its soldiers "full support in the case of errors, but not over conduct that is not normative and goes against the army's values." "

Big Guy ignores the above because if he acknowledged it, it shows the IDF does not condone excessive force which doesn't exactly fit well with his claim all Israelis and the IDF are criminals.

For the same reason Big Guy will also not mention the above senior officer stated as the article says:

"This was a gruesome, immoral and unjust act that can only fuel more violence and escalate an already volatile situation."

Or that a UN spokesperson said that:

"He welcomed, however, Israeli Defence Minister Moshe Yaalon's condemnation of the incident and called on the Israeli authorities to "swiftly bring to justice" the alleged perpetrator."

Let's not pay any attention to that. Doesn't exactly help your smeer all Israelis as criminals now does it.

How about this portion of the article:

"A military spokesman said the soldier was being "detained on suspicion murder," with his remand extended to Tuesday."

Oh never mind right Big Guy? Please...let's not pay any attention to the fact the IDF and Israeli government have arrested soldiers showing they do not condone excessive force or inappropriate conduct right Big Guy?-won't exactly fit the smeer that Israelis are criminals now does it.

Hey now You provide an article that clearly shows no Israeli government policy cause the incident and no Israeli condoned the actions in the incident, and this proves what Big Guy...hmmmmm?

Oh but wait, how about the person Big Guy calls the biggest of Israeli criminals-Benjamin Netanyahu-the chief demon according to Big Guy..well gosh golly gee wiz know what he said? Here its in the article and need I remind Big Guy he told the forum they need only read Al Jazeera and nothing else to find out what happens in the Middle East...

"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the soldier's behaviour was not in keeping with the army's values and Yaalon vowed the shooting was being treated with "utmost severity"."

Nowv Big Guy does this prove the incident was an Israeli government policy....the PM said......"the soldier's behaviour was not in keeping with the army's values". So?

Also the article stated that Yaalon said..."vowed the shooting was being treated with "utmost severity".

How does that show an Israeli government policy was used to kill someone and Israel condones excessive force? It says the exact opposite. It evidences the exact opposite. In fact the article evidences in direct contradiction to what Bug Guy said that the Israeli government and IDF were open, candid and fully disclosed what happened.

Bottom line, a terrorist was shot in the head. Now Big Guy removes the incident and plops it on this forum thread. Its not a government policy at all but the isolated act of a soldier but hey why make the distinction just fling it out and hope it sticks.

Let me repeat it again. It wasn't an Israeli government policy, it was an isolated act of an Israeli soldier that no one in Israel has condoned-so why is it even on this thread?

I would argue that by dumping this isolated act on this thread, Big Guy evidences, his agenda is not to discuss and criticize Israeli state policies, but is in fact to take isolated acts, remove them from their actual context, then use them as justification for an on-going smeer against Jews for being Israeli.

Let's get the Big Guy agenda clear as can be-it is to throw out as many negative stories as possible that he thinks might fuel resentment against Israelis for existing..

I would argue its part of this agenda:

"Contrary to all basis in fact, millions in the world today believe we are war criminals, deliberately slaughtering innocent men, women and children. Polls show that approximately 40% of Europeans believe Israel is waging a war of extermination against the Palestinians! This is precisely the psychology of anti-Semitism engaging in its age-old methodology of justification for Jew hatred by the manufacture and proliferation of ridiculous and unfounded but deadly lies....

They need to believe we are evil, our haters. They need to believe we are killers and world manipulators (a la the Israel Lobby pulling the strings of the Western world’s governments). The anti-Semitic anti-Zionists of today have the psychological necessity to believe these lies in order to justify and rationalize their hatred of us.

The ominous thing is, all these vicious lies being propagated against Israel and the Jews today is setting the stage: we have it coming to us, we have brought it upon ourselves. The world is being readied to cheer on our destruction.

To conclude I contend the above unfortunate incident is being exploited by Big Guy as part of a chain of non stop anti Israel posts that have nothing to do with criticizing Israeli state policies and everything to do with challenging the right of Jews to be Israelis and claiming when Jews are Israeli they kill people because they are criminal

Bottom line-the killing was not done in the heat of the moment and that is why it becomes wrong. The death of the terrorist is not the issue, the decision to kill him when he was defenceless is. In Big Guy's world there's no distinction. Its just an opportunity to piss on Israel for existing.

I say this without qualification, had the terrorist been killed in cold blood, good.

The fact he was shot in the head after being immobilized is not acceptable. It contradicts the code of conduct of the IDF and the soldier will be reprimanded. The terrorist being dead. Oh woe is me. The method of which he was killed, not acceptable because the IDRF can not lower itself to the level of the scrum that was killed. A wrong by the terrorist doe snot justify what the soldier did.

The soldiers who refused the terrorist medical care they will be reprimanded too

Now for any police officer who has been asked to go after a cop killer, for every fireman asked to go into a fire to save an arsonist, for every doctor asked to treat someone who has committed a sadistic crime, for every Priest who has been asked in confession to forgive a man who just beat someone to death or raped someone or committed a crime, is the same man this soldier was when he faced who the terrorist before choosing to shoot him in the head. This soldier failed to control his anger and he crossed over the line..

Big Guy now feels he can pose as the sanctimonious judge of morality, the know it all, the grand poobah of propriety and use this soldier's failure as a platform to piss on Israel for existing. Just another story to exploit.

Now I ask any of you-how would be behave if you had a gun in your hand and the rapist of your daughter, stood in front of you...do you know?

Ask the sanctimonious Big Guy that question. He could care less. This is just another sad story to exploit for his on-going piss on Israel agenda. He takes a situation of extreme emotion and a soldier who fails to resist a temptation to give in to anger to exploit so Big Guy can continue his refrain all Israelis are evil. That's the sham, the horse crap I challenge.

Yes was wrong to shoot the terrorist but the sanctimonious exploitation of this soldier's failure to piss on Israel, its despicable and cowardly in my opinion. It takes failure and pounces on it to use as an opportunity to rationalize hate against Israelis for being Jewish and that is why I challenge the words.

Methinks there are more and more web pages being created in an attempt to warn the rest of the world about this rogue state of Israel:

http://www.ifamericansknew.org/about_us/

"We believe strongly that if Americans knew the truth about Israel and Palestine -- about the massive amount of our tax money that is being given away to Israel, and about the human costs of Israel's American-financed militarism -- they would demand an immediate re-thinking of our policies in this region."

Note - For those expecting a response from Big Guy: I generally do not read or respond to posts longer then 300 words nor to parsed comments.
