Argus
I think when Harper keeps using the word "foreigners" when referring to Canadian residents he is subliminally saying they are "second class" people and being a bit racist IMO. Does he keep using the term 'foreigners'? Citations please.
Biz Liz
If you go just by the numbers, there have been the most terrorist attacks on Canadians happened during Harper's watch.
GostHacked
Before you answer, think which country is most likely to come to our defence if any kind of military crisis arises between us and Russia... Neither, both will use Canada as a staging ground and/or it would be part of the war zone.
Maybe
Seriously, has Canada ever angered any nation or people or provoked any terrorism until we supported George W. Bush? Terrorism has root causes people. If we avoid those root causes we never have to worry about terrorism. Yes....see Gulf War I and post war sanctions against Iraq, Somalia Affair, UNPROFOR (Cyprus), Rwanda, Kosovo War....all before President George W. Bush....or Prime Minister Stephen Harper. For instance, Canada's Buffalo 461 transport was shot down by Syria on August 9, 1974, killing 9. And of course, First Nations have a long list of issues with federal and provincial governments, as did Quebec separatists.

Terrorism has root causes people. If we avoid those root causes we never have to worry about terrorism. until Harper's latest foray into "gettin' sum", Canada held strictly to participating under UN and/or NATO sanctioned actions... we now have this farcical word play that bombing Syria is sanctioned because..... the Iraqi leader requested assistance (as in... the U.S. asked for the ask). A certain MLW member likes to consistently throw down such things as "the Somalia Affair"... and the few lives impacted, while couching his denial over the hundreds of thousands of Iraq lives lost, of the millions of Iraqi refugees, of the devastation of Iraq... and more, as simply "regime change"! bush_cheney2004
Prior to PM Harper, Canada also hosted and conspired with France & USA for an operation to depose (kidnap) the democratically elected president of Haiti in 2004. This was a Liberal Party joint. Edited October 8, 2015 by bush_cheney2004

Deposing a democratically elected president? Like Saddam Hussein... like that? When you say kidnap, was that where Aristide was flown on a U.S. plane, with a U.S. security detail, to a 'safe locale' in Africa? So funny to read you perpetually trying to ignore the real (U.S.) driver in these pursuits! .
Truth Or Dare
Go ask the parents of our fallen soldiers. Then kindly explain what Canada stands to gain from Afghanistan or Iraq? We have our own oil and no need for enemies in this world.
