  1. Corruption is the specialty of pols. It is what they do. The longer they remain in office the better they get at it. The problem is it hidden so deep we often have to wait years to see or even hear of it. (ie Schreiber/Mulroney fiasco)
  2. Yes, he shut down Parliament twice and gave them time to reflect upon their insolence, and he lowered the GST, and this TPP might turn out to be a good thing, but we should at least see a draft of it before October 19th eh?
  3. You must be nuts. The one thing Mr. Harper is not, is stupid. As clever and intelligent as he may be, he is not going to fool some AAA grade lawyers, a judge, and a jury. Keep those files sealed = job security.
  4. Probably because newspapers do more research on candidates than the rest of us and they may also be harder to fool? Just my guess here.
  5. Unfortunately, King Stephen has grown bolder, secretive, and arrogant with each passing year and that is why he has become his own worst enemy as many people have been pointing out. No one incident is enough to disqualify him as a national leader, but cumulatively they cannot be ignored, even if am banned for saying so. http://www.alternet.org/world/whats-his-problem-70-ways-canadas-prime-minister-has-assaulted-democracy-and-lawSeriously, nobody is perfect, and nobody ever expected Harper to be perfect. But its not unreasonable to expect the guy to be a little humble, honest, and compassionate.
  6. Let's be real here. Harper's position on Syrian refugees is a no brainer - especially in the midst of an election. When there is no election coming up, he drags his feet for months and years to help the Palestinians. Timing is everything. Lets see what he does after the elections... if he wins.
  7. We supposedly live in a democracy but lately some would argue a plutocracy or oligarchy. After I read this http://www.alternet.org/world/whats-his-problem-70-ways-canadas-prime-minister-has-assaulted-democracy-and-lawI wonder just how much privileges a state leader should have. Where do you draw the line?
  8. Go ask the parents of our fallen soldiers. Then kindly explain what Canada stands to gain from Afghanistan or Iraq? We have our own oil and no need for enemies in this world.
  9. Mr. Harper surely must have had a good reason unless he is a closet racist. Maybe the parents of the kids were going to become "terrorists" if their maimed kids died of their life-threatening wounds. http://www.isitlegalto.com/threads/40453-Should-PM-Stephen-Harper-be-prosecuted-for-manslaughter-or-only-human-righst-abuse-related-to-Iraqi-organ-transplant-kids?p=59061#post59061 Let's see how this plays out in a courtroom where people must explain themselves under oath.
  10. No sir. This is about Stephen Harper and 5 kids from Iraq - and whether or not there is legal liability according to the law.
  11. Without this program how else can Harper's Gestapo find out where all the Muslims live? If they dress like the rest of us and decide to shave their face clean and speak English, they will blend in too well and the next thing you know... they'll be building a mosque behind the Walmart!
  12. How can someone be legally responsible for NOT doing something? Besides I am sure there must be statute of limitations right? http://www.isitlegalto.com/threads/40453-Should-PM-Stephen-Harper-be-prosecuted-for-manslaughter-or-only-human-righst-abuse-related-to-Iraqi-organ-transplant-kids?p=59061#post59061 Besides, Harper is not the reincarnation of Adolph Hitler. Using the word "foreigner" relating to new Canadian residents does not make him a racist.
  13. Don't worry Liz, he will tell us after the election. Can't you see how busy he is these days? Besides he left the plan on a napkin at Pizza Palace and he sent an aide to go dumpster diving.
