And I don't expect the same of you either.

Nor do I expect everyone to have the same view. Or if someone has a different view, than they are wrong because it's different.

Think about that one for a while!

Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! Down over $1,500 in less than one year! Total fail of the moderation on this site! That reminds me, never ask Greg to be a business partner! NEVER!

I aknowledge some here do not agree with my opinions or choice of words.

Think I'm wrong?

Then do something a little more concrete about it other than constantly making comment after comment after comment after comment after comment after comment after comment after comment after comment after comment after comment after comment trying to re insure yourself you are right!

Like go complain to the moderators.

Ya that's right, go complain to the moderatrs that you think you are right and that you think I am wrong and if that doesn't work then keep complaining about it and making comment after comment after comment after comment after comment after comment after comment after comment telling me I'm wrong.

And if that doesn't work, try making more comments about how you think I'm wrong.

And if that doesn't work, keep making more comments that I'm wrong.

And if that doesn't work.....

Nothing to do with the mods. They likely are familiar with our system. Now that you are, you can move on.

8000 words and he still doesnt get it.

Its not a matter of opinion as he says, its fact. Water is wet....and he would debate that ad naseum.

It's probably time to ignore this and move on. The entire thing is pretty stupid.

Agreed.

From this point onward, anybody who refuses "to ignore this and move on" will take a vacation.

TRANSLATION: Anybody who chooses to engage in thread drift will be temporarily suspended.

HINT: Identifying thread drift requires very little subjectivity.

I took out some more trash, by the way. Anybody who feels censored is welcome to file a complaint.

We do not have time for a meeting of the flat earth society.

Ya actually this all started because I called Mike Duffy an MP.

All related to the debate of the senate where Duffy sits and the fact that only an conviction can pull him from his seat.

However, Guyser2 felt that a crusade to rip a pound of flesh from WWWTT's hide was in order, and somehow, your moderation felt such crusade was validated since only my comments have been deleated! (we've had this discussion before)

Obviously Guyser2 is Hardner or you or Greg.

So obviously I'm going to lose.

So go ahead and suspend me Charles Anthony! Not going to get anywhere anyways so I just go out in style with a ban!

You think I'm scared I'm going to get banned from this site?

Wasted enough of my time as is already!

. Documents now reveal that Harpers PMO attempted to alter a senate audit to keep Duffy....from going squirrelly on some upcoming panel shows. In other words to shut him up. In QP of course all Calandra could come up with was its before the courts and then a standard deflection. The plot thickens.

Actually, it's been continually thinning......but I know you have high hopes. They might be dashed with the upcoming release of up to 10 senators potentially facing charges - most of them Liberals. That plot thickens.

No idea what you are talking about by thinning, or by my hopes. Other than to say I dont like it when people pilfer the public purse, or obstruct justice. I hope they all get whats coming including, your buddy Harper, which the likelihood of is doing anything but thinning.

The Prime Minister's Office interfered with an audit that has led to a trial. No big deal, amiright?

That's exactly what I mean - as with everything, you're breathlessly hoping that one of these faux-conspiracies will lead to Harper. Don't hold that breath too long....... <_<

I guess if they were all faux, they wouldnt be on a court docket.

Last time I checked, Duffy was on trial - not Harper. Like I said, you're just continuing your manic obsession of slagging Harper with faux conspiracies. Huff and puff all you want........

Last time I checked there is evidence the PMO tried to whitewash a senate audit to try and make a problem go away. Thats obstruction. And with Harpers reputation as a control freak, one would have to be a tad naive to think something as important as that went unnoticed by him.

Your conspiracy is way ahead of itself - as usual. If you're following the trial, it's looking more and more like Duffy will escape most if not all of the charges he faces - and simply be accused of inappropriate nickel and diming on some expenses. If the residency charges don't hold up (from a legal perspective) - and there's a very good chance they won't - everything else is small potatoes......and lends credence to Nigel Wright's attempt to simply do the right thing and pay back the tax payers - and of course keep it out of the media.

The trial so far is going mostly in Duffy's favor due to the apparent haziness of the senate rules so yes, he may get a break there. However that is the small potatoes part. The important part has yet to to be examined, and that of course is the bribery portion. And of course the question that looms large around that issue is how is Duffy charged with bribery and no one else. Doesnt take a lot of knowledge of law to understand its rather hard to bribe yourself.

Duffy maintains he did not do anything illegal - and by your own admission, he might be found innocent. The PM and Nigel Wright's position has always been "we don't care if it's "legal" or not - it's not right - and pay it back. So it becomes a back and forth about how to accomplish that - and not air the dirty laundry. If that's how it unfolds - and everything seems to point to that......and Duffy genuinely thought he had done no wrong - then I can't see any way a bribery charge would stick - or even be considered. Anyway - I'll say again - your breathless Harper conspiracy rants are comical for a while - but tiresome in the end.

You have clearly missed the point of the legal implications at hand, and seem to just buy whatever Harper and co., would like you buy. For instance Its rather naive to think that Wright stroked a 90k check just to be a nice guy. Then Harper reluctantly accepted his resignation. Oh no wait, he fired him, no wait... But this is the last day until June 1, so you have some time to catch up.

"Faux" nothing.

Falsifying an audit report ...

the-duffy-trials-smoking-gun-just-blew-up-in-harpers-face/

No one disputes that the PMOs job is spin: Staffer seek to place the boss in the best light possible, and neutralize any threats to him and his government.

But at what point does spin cross the line into skulduggery?

...

Until now, most of the testimony and exhibits at Duffys trial have yielded little of serious import; this week, the case has focused on dog shows and donkeys.

But these emails have changed all that.

... since the audit didnt paint Duffy in a flattering enough light, the report on it had to be, ahem, altered. This was apparently done by Conservative Senators David Tkachuk and Carolyn Stewart Olsen, outside the normal Senate committee process. According to RCMP Cpl. Benoit Jolette, the report, we've learned through the investigation, had made its way to the PMO, to their office, and, I guess, revisions, what they wanted to have written in the report, was done.

We're in "skulduggery" territory now.

So why isn't Harper coming after the Senate with a flamethrower? Under any other circumstances this nickle and diming at the proverbial trough would be fodder with a capital F for Senate reform.

These must be really galling days for the base.

I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical,
a liberal, oh fanatical criminal
