A swing and a miss. That poll says nothing about whether Americans "support the speech" as "Marcus" said.

Why you gotta be like that Sharky?

It says they oppose the invitation to give the speech.

A large majority of Americans believe that Republican congressional leaders should not have invited Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak to Congress

The American people do not support Congress/Bibi/Zionists - They are in favour of an agreement:

A new poll by the University of Maryland’s Program for Public Consultation and the Anwar Sadat Chair for Peace and Development shows that a clear majority of Americans — including 61 percent of Republicans and 66 percent of Democrats — favor an agreement.

Yeah, I gotta be like that, because you still haven't found anything that says Americans do or do not "support the speech"(as Marcus stated) that was given AFTER the invitation issue was polled. It's not my fault Marcus keeps making it up as he goes along.

It's in the quote Sharky. They didn't approve of the speech taking place. As stated after, Americans also don't approve of Bibi's attack on Obama's method, which is negotiating. A majority of Americans prefer that negotiations happen.

The Republicans invited a foreign leader to come and dictate US foreign policy to them. Then they applauded like trained seals, it was sad and embarrassing. Thankfully, the country didn't approve and nobody listened to Netanyahu.

On Wednesday, world leaders negotiating with Iran in Montreux, Switzerland hinted that they were closing the gap on a possible deal that would contain Iran’s nuclear capabilities for at least 10 years and prevent it from breaking out of that agreement and obtaining enough fuel for a nuclear weapon for at least one year. The Wall Street Journal reported that “an understanding is emerging” on the break-out issue — a critical stepping stone to any final deal.

Without mentioning Netanyahu by name, Secretary of State John Kerry swiftly dismissed the Prime Minister’s insistence that the United States and its negotiating partner demand full capitulation from Iran and refuse to deal with the regime until it renounces violence and recognizes Israel.

“No one has presented a more viable, lasting alternative for how you actually prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon,” Kerry said. “So folks, simply demanding that Iran capitulate is not a plan. And nor would any of our P5+1 partners support us in that position.”

Yet Americans disapproved and the negotiators didn't give a crap. Only 30% approved of the Republican stunt that made them look weak and foolish. They undermined their own country and President and a significant portion of their base didn't even like the move. Ouch!

That's like Paris Hilton gloating over press coverage of her sex tape. I'm quite happy that Canada was not embarrassed in such a fashion.

That's good...because most Americans have no frickin' idea who the Prime Minister of Canada is. War with Iran is a lot more interesting than begging for a bitumen pipeline.

Even after W promised no child would be left behind, 'most Americans' are still that ignorant? Sorry bud, I guess the Netanyahu embarrassment is the least of your worries.

Lefties don't like Bibi because he embarassed Dear Leader, and nobody, but nobody is allowed to do that! Obama's been hostile to Israel and cozy with Iran since he began his failed presidency back in 2009. Congress, a co-equal branch of government has every right to invite an ally leader to discuss the issues related to a negotiations that it will have to live with. Obama thinks he's king. He doesn't like the fact that there's 2 other equal branches. He already shits all over the constitution and the supreme court, as well as bypassing congress whenever he gets a chance, on things he's previously stated he doesn't have the authority to do. Like I said before, only in Obama's America can he turn an ally's speech into a hostile event. Can't wait until he's finally out of office. He's a complete and utter failure.

No kidding. Between keeping Guantanamo open, expanding state surveillance, and authorising the murder of hundreds if not thousands of innocent people Obama's at least the 2nd worst president the US has ever had.

The best he rates is the upper bunk in the cell he shares with Bush at the Hague.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

You're going to confuse Shady. Because if you're against something the Republicans do, or Israel does, you must be with that "Leftist", "Communist", "Muslim", "Arab-loving" Obama!

"What do you think of Western civilization?" Gandhi was asked. "I think it would be a good idea," he said.

PM Netanyahu got a bump in the polls after his speech in Amerika:

JERUSALEM, March 4 (Reuters) - Israeli opinion polls on Wednesday showed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu got a slight boost in popularity after his U.S. speech slamming an emerging nuclear deal with Iran, but he is still running neck and neck with his leading rival in a March 17 election.

Of course, the Republicans let him walk in and bitch slap the US. Then they clapped like trained seals. That tends to resonate in that crazy and unfamiliar world that exists outside of US borders.

No, jonesy, it isn't in the quote. Are your reading skills that poor? They didn't approve of the invitation. But there is nothing on if they supported the speech itself. The speech content. "Support the speech" is what Marcus said. He, and you, are woefully unable to understand simple concepts, but it doesn't make them any less true.

And like I posted earlier, GALLOP's poll said that Netanyahu's approval rating has increased among Americans. Facts are stubborn things. Later this week there may be an actual poll on the CONENT of the speech. Now if such a poll occurs and shows approval of the speech, you and Marcus will be mum on the topic. If such a poll occurs and it says that Americans didn't support the speech, then you two will post the results here, proving that your earlier attempts didn't show what you suggested they did.

Yes....those trained seals are elected by the voters. No queen with fancy hats required.

If a hat could fix the ignorance problem you highlighted earlier, I suggest you look into it.
