The term "hack" is quite derogatory unless you're dealing with cab drivers.

I dont know if you drive cab or not...

I question things because I am human. And call no one my father who's no closer than a stranger

I'm an attorney. Once in a blue moon I ride a cab to the train station, such as if it's pouring.

But do you get the point that, on an anonymous forum, such declarations of identity are dubious and irrelevant? One might question why you have, over and over and over, felt it necessary to declare your personal details (given that it is hard to be a fake American Jewish lawyer without repeatedly claiming to be an American Jewish lawyer). I do notice that nobody is ever a fast-food worker or a cab driver; they're always law professors or oncologists.

Except the public school teacher, of course.

Sure ya are.

I am not going to post links to my more successful decisions on a public Internet forum.

No one is asking you to. They're in fact suggesting the opposite. If you're going to make an anonymous argument, then be anonymous. You haven't noticed that most posters on this forum feel no need to self-identify their religion or profession when making an argument? Why do you suppose that is?

Just the lawyers for some reason. Of course I have no reason not to believe them because, let's be honest here, why would anyone who wasn't a lawyer want to be taken for one?

Unfortunately, too true. There are a fair quotient of lawyers who give the profession a very bad name. The field itself has very honorable roots. It is unfortunate that some (including one of my former employers) feel the need to loot escrow accounts. Even beyond such obvious thievery there are many that are downright rude.

People, never mind lawyers, shouldn't live that way. I feel strongly on this issue.

For what it is worth, this guy named jbg is in fact a lawyer. I know that. For one, he can spell and understand legal names and legal terms. Two, I have had private convo's w him in the very far past and his name and occupation were spelled out.

As for that other lawyer on here.....well, there is ton of doubt on that claim.

I can vouch for him. I checked his law firm website. It verifies.

He might be a lawyer. A good lawyer on the other hand...

I think the point is not whether their claims are true; the question is how it matters. I think if you are intent on making an anonymous argument, it should be an argument based on verifiable facts and not unverifiable credentials. Fortunately, most people on this board understand this and don't bother with long-winded personal details that nobody cares about.

I know for a fact that there are 9 lawyers, 2 doctors, 4 gay men, 2 gay women, 3 blacks, 3 aboriginals, 1 clergyman, 3 IT Techies, 2 guys out on parole, 3 former military personnel, 2 members of Mossad, 1 guy from CSIS, 1 potential serial killer, 1 ISIS operator and 7 teachers here.

Some of these are the same person.

Oh, there are also 84 posters who are anonymous and really do not care to identify the others.

Note - For those expecting a response from Big Guy: I generally do not read or respond to posts longer then 300 words nor to parsed comments.

Just one potential serial killer? I counted more than that.

Just trying to top the Pooch Salute:

That's different. Bush can't be accused of being uppity.

And why do you need to introduce a racial element where there is none?
