Well considering Big Guy started a thread about the Ray Rice thing, we're kinda having this debate in two threads. The idea that there are suspensions in the NFL for all these guys getting in trouble prove that the NFL doesn't turn a blind eye to it, as you said earlier. Now in college it often is. I'm clearly not going to waste time getting to know the Rams 2nd or 3rd string defensive prospects but because of the Michael Sam story I wanted to actually see how the game turned out. Sam didn't make the field until the second half. The Packers could do absolutely nothing against the second stringers. I don't see how he makes the team the way he's being used. The Rams have 8 D lineman who own their spots, but fortunately for Sam they usually keep 9. He is really competing with 3 guys for that 9th spot, but Westbrook might be the better player. To help his cause he lost something like 13 pounds to be faster on special teams. Apparently, he has been an impressive blocker on punt/kick return squads.
