Israel and Hamas Agree to a Ceasefire

Sometimes I would rather Israel going there and bulldozing the entire place and taking it over. Allowing peaceful Arabs armed passage escort to West Bank to live in peace. The warlike Arabs can be arrested and kept in a POW camp or justice prison. Israel could annex Gaza.

Israel has said (about the temp. ceasefire) if one rocket is fired into Israel after 2:00 pm - watch out. I believe they will invade this time if Hamas breaks the truce.

so we should expect the zionists to assassinate a hamas official before then?....

how would israel react if just before a ceasefire their defense minister was assassinated as the Hamas military chief was...

So you're saying that the Jews should be cleaned-out of the WB rather than made citizens of a future state. OK...that's fine, I suppose.

I guess it depends if they live in those illegal settlements that are claimed to not exist anymore in West Bank. Funny how something east of Israel is called the West Bank....

Is the Israeli defense minister part of an internationally recognized terrorist organization ?

Ooh. Suddenly we care about "internationally recognized".

The settlements are internationally recognized to be illegal. The annexation of East Jerusalem is internationally recognized to be a violation of international law.

By the way, Hamas is not recognized as a terrorist organization internationally. Learn all about it.

Before we see some foaming at the mouth, I do not agree with any action by Hamas that violates international law, including shooting rockets towards civilians.

That's just for the "sycophants" who do.

The internationally recognized process for resolving such disputes is not indiscriminate rocket attacks or suicide bombings. Should Canada's First Nations resort to such tactics?

By the way, Hamas is not recognized as a terrorist organization internationally. Learn all about it.

Hamas is a terrorist organization...period.

Before we see some foaming at the mouth, I do not agree with any action by Hamas that violates international law, including shooting rockets towards civilians.

Sorry...too late to back pedal now. It is your Charter right to express such views and support terrorism, but it is not consistent with the policies of the nation that provides you with such rights in defense of liberty.

it's a two way street, no point condeming one sides tactics while giving the other side carte blanche...when was the last time you heard the canadian or us governments critizing israeli state terror?...that isn't helpful at all...

Canada's listed entities record for Hamas:

Hamas (Harakat Al-Muqawama Al-Islamiya) ("Islamic Resistance Movement")

Description

Hamas, the Arabic acronym for the group Harakat Al-Muqawama Al-Islamiya, is a radical Islamist-nationalist
terrorist
organization that emerged from the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1987. It uses political and violent means to pursue its goal of establishing an Islamic Palestinian state in Israel. Since 1990, Hamas has been responsible for several hundred terrorist attacks against both civilian and military targets. Hamas has been one of the primary groups involved in suicide bombings aimed at Israelis since the start of the Al-Aqsa intifada in September 2000. In 2006, Hamas participated in and won Palestinian parliamentary elections, leading to negotiations between the group and the Palestinian Authority over the establishment of a unity government. In 2007, however, Hamas overthrew the Palestinian Authority in the Gaza Strip and seized power of the coastal territory. Although the group's political leadership resides in Damascus, Hamas uses the Gaza Strip as a base for terrorist operations aimed against Israel.

I think you mean terrorist group Hamas reloading. They fired an awful lot of rockets. Israel doesn't need any time to reload.

Watch for a peaceful flotilla manned by "useful idiots" to make its way down the Mediterranean sometime soon.

This is a terrible situation. War is unfortunate but at times necessary. The people who are anti Israel expect for Israel to not defend itself against terror. When given a choice of supporting Israel or a worldwide terrorist Organisation the choice should be an easy one. We can never allow terror is rule us, we must always fight against terror and not let it take hold in our society.

Terrorism is scary, that is the goal of Hamas, to destroy Israel. They want to kill every Jew on the planet, that is what people who support Gaza are supporting. I don't think they even realize that that is what they are supporting. Scary.
