GostHacked Posted March 10, 2012 Author Report Posted March 10, 2012 Could not get the second video working right, I'll keep trying .. however.. Quote
GostHacked Posted March 10, 2012 Author Report Posted March 10, 2012 Possibly another scenario with CNN faking some news. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAYfukYidhY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD8jK8k4Owo I am sure CNN is not the only outfit doing this kind of thing. Quote
Michael Hardner Posted March 10, 2012 Report Posted March 10, 2012 Are they lying, or are they reporting lying ? How is it not in their interest to pass on information passed to them by the military ? At least until the public starts demanding warning labels for that kind of information ? Moonlight Graham Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Is that second video for real? The one with the blue screen. That's almost laughably bad. Quote "All generalizations are false, including this one." - Mark Twain Partisanship is a disease of the intellect.

GostHacked Posted March 11, 2012 Author Report Posted March 11, 2012 Is that second video for real? The one with the blue screen. That's almost laughably bad. Seems to be. I am trying to find other examples out there. But this one was pretty bad. It is laughable because it's so sad. Quote
Michael Hardner Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 What would be one reason to fake news broadcasts? The broadcast isn't faked. You're watching it so it's happening. The content of the news is what you're talking about, I'm guessing. The TV network, like every private enterprise, wants to make money. Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! There is no time delay from the person in the CNN studios in the USA to the reporter in Saudi Arabia. All this new technology does not get rid of that fact. In that video, there is NO time delay. So either CNN has a studio in Saudi Arabia, or the reporter was closer to the studio in the USA. Conclusion? Fake. Quote

The TV network, like every private enterprise, wants to make money. Why are you being such an apparent apologist for the military industrial complex Michael? You've never heard of horizontal integration of private enterprise or how deeply it extends into the public's domain via our governments and political parties? The linchpin holding the public and private domains together is the willingness of the public which of course is what the content of the news is about - garnering public support for war and a huge transfer of public funds to private enterprise. You think that would all fit on a warning label? Quote I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

Michael Hardner Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Why are you being such an apparent apologist for the military industrial complex Michael? I'm not. If it's about conspiracy theories, though, I'm only interested in sweeping them away. There are enough conspiracies that happen in plain sight, with no complaints, so why would somebody try to hide a conspiracy ? You've never heard of horizontal integration of private enterprise or how deeply it extends into the public's domain via our governments and political parties? Yes, and it happens in plain sight. The linchpin holding the public and private domains together is the willingness of the public which of course is what the content of the news is about - garnering public support for war and a huge transfer of public funds to private enterprise. All of which is well known. You think that would all fit on a warning label? It doesn't matter - people don't care. Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! Michael Hardner
GostHacked Posted March 11, 2012 Author Report Posted March 11, 2012 Ok, well if that's what we're talking about here I'm not interested. You can't see that it's faked? I thought you were of the critical thinking kind. I may have been wrong. Kind of like the 9/11 needle-in-a-haystack game where amateurs pick apart every anomaly and offer an incredible explanation for it. It's just speculation; we have no way to verify whether we're right or not so it's not a satisfying game. Well, there is the 'live' broadcast, and then there is the real one. The time delay from the USA to Saudi Arabia and back is significant enough that you'd notice it. Usually they are stumbling over each other at times because the delay makes it hard to make clean dialogue. There is no delay in this one at all. That alone is really all you need to show that the 'live' broadcast was indeed faked. So why would the media stage something like that Mike? What is the purpose? Quote
Michael Hardner Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 How are you so sure there would be a delay? Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! Michael Hardner
eyeball Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 How are you so sure there would be a delay? The laws of physics? It's not the lack of nicotine delaying your thought processes but they do have to adjust to all that extra oxygen. That'll pass...hang in there. GostHacked Posted March 11, 2012 Author Report Posted March 11, 2012 How are you so sure there would be a delay? Because it's a fact? Communications through satelites at opposite sides of the earth. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latency_(audio) Audio latency can be experienced in broadcast systems where someone is contributing to a live broadcast over a satellite or similar link with high delay, where the person in the main studio has to wait for the contributor at the other end of the link to react to questions. Latency in this context could be between several hundred milliseconds and a few seconds. Dealing with audio latencies as high as this takes special training in order to make the resulting combined audio output reasonably acceptable to the listeners. Wherever practical, it is important to try to keep live production audio latency low throughout the production system in order to keep the reactions and interchange of participants as natural as possible http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geostationary_orbit CommunicationsSatellites in geostationary orbits are far enough away from Earth that communication latency becomes significant — about a quarter of a second for a trip from one ground-based transmitter to the satellite and back to another ground-based transmitter; close to half a second for a round-trip communication from one Earth station to another and then back to the first. Moonlight Graham Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 (edited) I'm most concerned with the 2nd video posted in this thread, the one with the blue screen behind the reporter. It obviously is in a studio with a blue screen and what looks like fake plants etc., yet they are broadcasting from "Saudi Arabia". In the middle of the "broadcast they are even talking with the reporter. The only possible explanation for this, besides it being a true fake & unethical broadcast (to save travel money maybe? I don't quite see some crazy military-industrial complex conspiracy though), is that it is some kind of footage from CNN practicing their war coverage, with maybe the reporter prepping to go over to Saudi Arabia (for real) very soon and getting practice in for the stress of real war-time reporting. It doesn't quite jive though, why go to all the trouble with the sets & costumes etc.? Also, who obtained this footage and how? Looks like the guy is recording it off TV on VCR or something? Then why the blue screen. It's just all sorts of bizarre. The "Open Conspiracy" theory says that because the populous has been deliberately dumbed down(in a whole host of areas),the things that seemed to be done behind the proverbial curtains,is being done out in the open and no one seems to bat an eyelash... Michael Hardner Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 I thought it was the fact that people don't care that drives you nuts. Maybe that too.
