eyeball Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 He said Walker's decision treats children as a "mere afterthought when it comes to marriage ... And the court also found that there is no benefit whatsoever for a child to be raised by its own biological parents."Fortunately, the Constitution does not require the people to substitute the social science musings of gay rights activists for common sense," Cooper said. "This decision will not stand." There should be a law against homophobes getting married and having kids. Quote A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.
dre Posted August 5, 2010 Author Report Posted August 5, 2010 There should be a law against homophobes getting married and having kids. There should be a law against having public referendums on minority rights. That question never should have been on a ballot. Minority rights are ALWAYS unpopular with the majority. Freedom for slaves, and womens sufferage... both of those initiatives would have solidly voted down if they put the questions on ballots for the dumb-ass mob to decide. Guess again yourself. When the 19th amendment was passed womens sufferage was no a popular concept at all. It passed against public opinion with a bare majority in congress. Ending slavery was even less popular. Quote I question things because I am human. And call no one my father who's no closer than a stranger

Not at all. There is no such thing as "minority rights." Rights apply to everyone. Rights are not based on skin colour, religion, or sexual preference. There is no white freedom of speech, and black freedom of speech, and gay freedom of speech. Just freedom of speech. Quote

BubberMiley Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Just freedom of speech. Way to go. Now you understand why former definitions of marriage were wrong when they said inter-racial couples couldn't marry. It's denying one couple a right that other couples have. Youre confused. The term minority rights doesnt mean special rights for minorities. The term applies to the denying minorities rights that are extended to everyone else. For example freedom from slavery is considered a minority rights issue... not because freedom from slavery is some kind of special "minority right", but because it was a right that the rest of society was denying that minority. punked Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 (edited) *breaking news* Gay Judge from San Francisco rules in favour of so-called gay marriage. So? Don't act like a bigot. His sexual preference has nothing to do with the issue he made a ruling based on the 14th Amendment and if you don't like the 14th Amendment then tough. Edited August 5, 2010 by punked Quote

Mr.Canada Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 (edited) So everyone must agree with the gay lifestyle or else they are a homophobe. This is absurd. I don't agree with their lifestyle but I am not afraid of homosexuals as having a phobia would suggest. The same goes for immigration. We must all agree to have unfettered immigration or else we are racists. If we agree with the police, we're facists and want a Police State. If people want some tradition upheld then those people are backward people, rednecks, etc. Then many people here call me out when I call anyone left of centre a socialist. I'm only playing by the same rules you people use. I think that some socialists may have a mental disorder. This constant sense of false dichotomy can be directly linked to Borderline personality disorder. Black and white thinking in clinical terms in called splitting. Perhaps some of the left wing suffer from a mental illness that is as of untreated and un medicated. So if you suffer from this make an appointment with your family Dr. and get referred to a mental health professional. People not need to accept homosexual lifestyles as normal. It doesn't mean they hate homosexuals or anything like that. Some just find it vulgar, a man repeatedly thrusting his penis into and out of another mans anus until climax and filling it with seamen. The place where poop comes out, a homosexual finds pleasure in sticking his penis into a mans anus after he goes to the bathroom. Some just don't find this natural. Some don't see sticking a mans penis into another mans anus after a bowel movement as being a beautiful act. It doesn't mean they are afraid of homosexuals or hate them but they just don't agree with the lifestyle. Included in the homosexual lifestyle is the carousing of young men and adolescents. Look at any male gay ad, it almost always portrays the gay men as being young in some cases teenagers. It would seem that the ultimate conquest of the gay male would be to conquer the young man or teenaged boy and ravage him sexually. It seems to be the life ambition of many gay men. To have a young lover. AIDS is rampant in the gay community and in fact patient zero was a gay man from Montreal. Patient Zero being the first known case of HIV. That's right he was a gay Canadian flight attendant for Air Canada by the name of Gaetan Dugas who would travel the world leading a life of promiscuity, spreading HIV wherever he went and came, as it were. Others don't think that clergymen should be forced to marry people whom they don't think should be married. This goes for straight people as well. For example before a Catholic priest will marry two people they have to go counseling for a year with the priest to make sure they can live together properly. For the record no I don't agree with the gay lifestyle but I don't care about it either. As long as they aren't having sex in public and it's where I cannot see it I don't care what they do. It's denying one couple a right that other couples have. This where you and I are going to differ... A marriage between a man and a woman, irrespective of race,is still between a man and a woman...The last I checked,my wife was still equipped with all of her "female fun parts"... But,I guess I'm a traditionalist when it comes to these things,a true, real marriage sanctified by God is between a man and a woman...In the Godly sense of the union,it should never be between anyone but man and woman... Now,down at City hall,in front of a JP,when it comes to issues of property etc...Whatever..That's no concern of mine because i's in the secular scope of things. But the seperation between church and state works both ways, not one way.No church, well a church that believes in the precepts of the Holy Bible, should be forced to conduct a ceremony between "marriage" minded homosexuals...
