I wasn't referring to the American government. I was referring to Americans in general. Canadians of the left, regardless of which party is in power in Washington, negatively stereotype Americans on a regular basis. Usually to feed their pseudo-superiority complex.

So do Canadians on the Right. They deride and dismiss the liberal portion of America.

Once again, no, I'm not referring to liberal portions of America, or conservative portions of America. I'm referring to Americans in general.

We never hear them complain about Canadian Infidels.

You must not be listening, then.

Al-Qaeda warns Canada

But seriously. The jihad is against the West, and Canada is as much a western nation of infidels as the U.S. is. You must realize that, considering the strikes that have been made against other nations. It's not just the U.S. that's been singled out in that respect. If the U.S. is singled out more, it's because the U.S. is more prominent.

Oh no! What about the magical powers of mapleleafs on backpacks? Surely that will protect Canada from Al Qaeda.

Plus, the Taliban and Al Qaeda are protected from all forms of "hate speech" in Canada. Can't be hatin' on Al Qaeda! ;)

Unfortunately, Jimmy Carter 2.0 is currently occupying the White House. I'd advise against any similar currency exchanges for the next couple of years.

I thought it was George McGovern 2.0? Oh no, that was before the election.

I guess once Obama is reelected, it will be Bill Clinton 2.0.

I know it is against the 'west'. Not sure if I consider Europe to be part of the 'west'. England, Spain and other countries have seen this. At its not just a Jihad against the west. It is as much a Jihad towards the East. India, Thailand, ect are all seeing uprisings with this fundamentalism.

The west is not the only place being attacked.

Exactly. Not to mention is seems easier for the terror attacks to happen in places like Pakistan, India, and other countries due to the lack of 'security' in these places. Have there been more terror attacks in the east compared to the west? Not talking about the scale, but the number of incidents.

That's because it's the path of least resistence.

I'd say that its more likely due to tribal/sectarian differences as well as the govt support for the U.S......
