Alledgedly - that guy you see in the pictures with the Defence Minister Mckay - just got arrested - it seems that this person with ultra high security clearance ALLEDGEDLY liked to kill and rape or rape and kill woman for the thrill of it. I wonder how many and in how many places this person performed his devilish duties?

If someone is looking for a reason to bring down the current lazy and overly privledged government - the torture of prisoners handed over to other barabarians is not the true stuff that scandals are made of - we seem to have a serial killer rubbing sholders with the conservative government - NOW THIS IS A REAL SCANDAL - enjoy and pass the pop corn.

If this is the leadership our leadership appoints then we do not have any leadership - and if we do we should call him Ghengis... This is a real bomb sell - First McKay is fratranizing with second rate industrialist like Belinda -who was shown to have no force of character or principle - (crossing the floor like changeing boyfriends). It would be nice to know where the good judgement of character is? THIS really shows that the people who are attempting to control our great nation are not fit to run a civilized society - maybe we should simply transplant parliment in a new location where they could feel at home - Bhagdad or perhaps Khandahar?

But that is what we have in ottawa right now honest men doing their job and not demanding thier entitlements. What did chretien do for 13 years ,with all the problems that harper has to fix, it sure makes you wonder.

Some say that justice and revenge are differnent concepts and should never be blended - sometimes revenge is justice and justice is revenge - as for this alledged incident - alledgedly this colonel murders woman - and has sex with them prior or after...and after through investigation and proper process it might be shown that their are corpses that stretch from ther to the middle east - Hating evil is not a bad thing..but with moral neutrality that seems to be the norm these days - murder - plunder - rape and general mayhem is to be excepted?

It does not matter who cause the problems - It's like a kid saying that he will not clean up because it is not his candy wrapper...all must do their own small bits with out pointing figures - But getting back to the Chrietein days ..the second he grabbed that man by the throat he should have stepped down as leader...leaders do not strangle people in private or in public..but violence and decption seems to be the base of the character that spawns todays so-called leaders.

Take our learned member Bush Cheney for instance - a great American everyone loves to hate - I love the guy cos' he's honest and direct..so you will see a bit of love her also..in fact I am getting that warm and fuzzy feeling as I write - Oh my god I must be turning liberal.

There is no agreement from my perspective regarding your statement about anti- this and anti- that and smelly power and such. What I see is an eroding of mindless and obedient partisanship. That's a good thing that people are coming to logical conclutions on what is good for the people and what is bad for the nation in the long and short term. The world is changing and the old way is just about over - moral collapse - financial mayhem and power for powers sake is finally vanishing. People are waking up and want to do what is needed - the right thing!

Hey Mike - I know the Tweed area. Had a friend who moved there. This is real shocking stuff _ it was odd - I never go to the library very often but I did this morning and my eye caught the photo of one of the missing woman..and a plea from her family for her safe return - then about ten minutes later I got hope and turned on the tube and there was the picture again - then a picture of RUSSELL WILLIAMS - The alledged serial rapist murderer..then there is another clip with him hanging out with the Defence minister _ now I find out that he was the trusted air chaffeur for even the prime minister... this is about JUDGEMENT of human character...the apologist are coming out of the wood work- They are going on about phsycological testing and all that other crap...this will make the Fort Hood embarrassment in the states look like a high school reunion. IF Harper and the boys get back to work - they will literally have to crawl under a rock if this Russell Williams character is the type of man they appoint to represent Canada abroad - what is this saying? Is it possible that a bunch of pirates have taken over Canada?

It maybe that there is a trickle down effect of poor or inept judgement. Or it can be said that - What does a bad judical ruling have to do with the persons who appoint the judges? Or - What does a father or mother have to do with the poor behaviour of a son or daughter? POLICY has nothing to do with good judgement and judgement rarely is found in policy - policy is auto-pilot rule and apparently this pilot...thought he was above supereme law and mans law - maybe he thought he was untouchable...maybe those in power belive that moral behaviour is for the lowly poor and that they can do what they want - like assist Americans in the pludering of other nations under the guise of "democracy." Policy driven judical systems and governments stink ---about time we had some good judgement - To rise to the rank of Colonel and for those doing the advancement not to see the darkness in a mans eyes is unforegivable --- Are our leaders blind?

HARPER IS A TEAM PLAYER. He is as tough and as wolf like as his pale eyes portray. It is not that Harper is guilty or not guilty of being inept..it is just that there is a culture of toughness that is pervasive now in big business and in our current government. They do not question each other or search out the inner most character of their fellow power mongers. Imagine a group of Vikings - They are not about to bother looking at Zoloff...who is at the tiller of the ship and think - "That Zoloff looks like a bad one" _ They don't give a shit about who is bad or good long as the mission is accomplished..what ever that mission be.

Continued: Remember a while back when there was this tacit policy regarding the childern mostly boys in Afghanistan - when war lords to amuse themselves on Thursday nights would sodmize young boys dressed up like little hookers - That some of the children were so badly injured that their bowels were left dragging on the ground...The Canadian military was told to turn a blind eye to these occurances..THAT WAS THE OFFICAL POLICY. The Conservatives were not in government when Williams was first posted abroad.

Between December 2005 and June 2006, he was the commanding officer for Camp Mirage, the secretive Canadian Forces forward logistics base that's not officially acknowledged by the government or military but has been widely reported to be near Dubai.

Does not matter if this is a left or right posting. Someone is going to have to explain why this ALLEDGED mad man was allowed to run rampant with the full support of a government. I am not here to pick on Harper per say or anyone else. What concernes me is that such evil existed ALLEDGEDLY in the ranks and no one noticed. If you can not spot evil in your midst or are not interested in weeding it out for the sake of potitical and public safety that would signify a culture where power is more important than the well being and safety of the people you govern.
