  1. This will get interesting, and it will be interesting to see how the MSM plays this out. http://crooksandliars.com check it out. There is much said about the Libby case. Fall Guy Scapegoat Took one for the Team. If he gets pardoned at ALL, then we KNOW that there is evil in the White House. If Bush PARDONS Libby, then the whole trial was nothing but a circle jerking media farce. Not that it got alot of coverage. But I can't be sure of that, I do not have cable TV. So I get all my news online and in papers. Oh he had a bad memory? Why would he be a Vice President's Aide if he had such a shoddy memory. Or actually this plays in perfect with it all. Protecting those who SHOULD be accountable for the crimes, and they probably lead to other crimes made by the current administration. Oh but he is a nice guy and never would lie. No one lies. EVER. And people in the White House and people who help out those in the White House, NEVER LIE AT ALL. THEY DO NOT LIE. They all have crappy memories. Mockingly I say 'Mr. Bush, why is it that no WMDs have been found in Iraq after the invasion?' To which he would reply, 'I am not sure, I cannot remember properly.' Selective memory. Saying 'I can't remeber' is useful to someone like Libby.
  2. I have a problem with this. Iran and Syria are ready for talks in Iraq about the current Middle East situation. Is the US ready to implement a peaceful solution? Remember ALL options (including Military) are on the table. Unless both sides are willing to give a little, then we have progress. Compromise will get you to where you want to be. http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/02/28/...ence/index.html ..posted March 1, 2007 So eventhough it seems the US had put forth this proposal, the US does not want to take part in it. Unless Iran suspends uranium enrichment. NORTH KOREA was still enriching uranium while the 'talks' have been going on for the last few years. And now they seem to have found a dialogue and a peaceful solutiuon is in the works. Why do people think this will not work for Iran?? I fucking hate the MSM ... http://blogs.usatoday.com/oped/2007/03/talk_to_iran_an.html ...posted March 08, 2007 http://news.google.ca/news?q=syria+iran+ta...i=news&ct=title So half the articles show talks will get under way, and some show that the talks wil go without the US, and them some show that there will be no talks at all. WTF is going on here. How can there be soooo much disinformation out there. I understand the two articles I have posted are 6 days apart, but this shows the Bush admin has bigger flip flops than Kerry did. Anyways, talks would help. But after what the US has done in the Middle East, Iraq's neighbours are seeing through this veil the US has put on. Why would Iran or Syria trust anything the US has to say. Yes this can go both ways, and most of you don't see that as the case. Not sure about this. We are all in the same year. We are all in the same civilization. We are all in the same era. We are all contributing to this civilization.
  3. She is a hack. Nothing more. Someone to blab about things that dont even matter. You can ignore her, she will go away.
  4. Perhaps you should reread my posts. You will see my original objection had to do with extrapolating this issue into a Canadian government problem in Afghanistan. Since Gost didn't offer any proof of this, as defined by facts, perhaps you could. Well actually the topic is about the US covertly funding Al-Queda. And if you chose that one thing to debate on then you lost already. For what you want me to 'prove' is another thread altogether. Not to mention that thread would not be under US Politics. I offered no facts about Canadian money helping insurgents. I will even quote myself. So you took two different sentences and mashed them into one and extrapolated that Canadian money is helping insurgents (ok now I am making an assumption about what you are trying to get at, so please make it clear for me as so I don't get confused). I did not make any assumtion about that at all. Nice try though. You made a total assumption and got off topic and chose to pick on that because the rest of my 'theory' you cannot pick apart at all. I waited 3 days for a response from you on this theory, and all I got was this?? Money IS missing and COULD be helping out insurgents. Unless your reading comprehension is that of a grade schooler, you should be able to follow this simple conversation. Don't put the blame on me to prove something off topic (well kind of off topic) when you cannot even understand the posts I am making. Stop sidetracking and deal with the topic. You can do better Sharkman. I know you can. I think you are an intelligent person, but you obviously do not want to show it to us.
  5. I have a small article form the Metro paper that shows Dion calling for North American pharmacuticle companies to help bring the Afghanistan opium for research in the medical feild. Oh here it is somewhere else\ http://www.thestar.com/News/article/184984 Pretty dangerous thinking. I really don't know much about Dion, but after that comment, I am looking a little closer at him. Anyone who advocates this should not be Prime Minister. Wonder what ties he has to pharma companies.
  6. Dupicate post... I am gonna report this one and have it taken off. you have started two exact same threads in different parts of the forums. Read the rules if you have problems with it.
  7. Here is another example of all of this. http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/03/03/...i.ap/index.html So in my theory, now let me be clear on this that it is a THEORY. So a cabinet shuffle is needed. Criminal charges are being pursued. So if you take the links from before about missing money in Iraq and missing money of programs that concern Iraq, you can put two and two together, and at least it won't come to 3. So it is more plausible that US funds indirectly funded the insurgents. Weather they wanted it to happen or not, they should have seen this comming, It has been happening from the start of this war with money missing/unaccounted for. Would you like a closer look at the books? What there is of them, that is.
  8. Hay have you forgoten there is a debate going on in this thread here. Anything of real substance to throw in here at all?? RnDs have spies as well. Sometimes corporations spy on each other so steal patents, or sneak at look at some new technology. So you have the Sunni's in charge and some Shiites in the government. Now it would not be hard to have some unaccounted money to go missing, and for it to be funneled to insurgents from people in the Iraqi government. Seems totaly plausable and probably is true. It makes sense to me. At least this is more plausable than the WMD, Nigerial yellowcake, stockpiles of chemical weapons, the US made up in first place. Who can you trust for the truth? Who is going to be held accountable. If you are hiring someone for a job and it turns out you are possibly indirectly funding your own demise, would you not want to investigate that? That there is a 'what if' I'd want to know about.
  9. Interesting beats and change ups in the tune. I did not understand 2/3's of it. Got all the lyrics?? They should be posted hehe. At some points it is like they are trying to be hip/controversial, but trying to hard and falling way short.
  10. Pretty interesting article. I am always stunned when news media portrays something. The Darfur region is a complete hell hole. But the media has not reported it in the ways they do for the Middle East. Geopolitical indeed. The reactions when Israel gets attacked is just nuts. - kill em - retaliation - ect. -----as we have seen in the summer of 2006 with the Hammas taking Isreali prisoners, but then Lebanon gets their ass pounded for a couple months. Most of the reactions I have read (and on this site) show how much more people react to an Israeli related story as to... hmmm um The Philipenes?? But not much has been said in regards to Darfur. That seems like a much more urgent crisis to solve compared to the Isreali/Palestinian conflict. The amount of people getting killed in that conflict far outweighs anything Israel has 'suffered' in their entire history as a country. But being in Africa, it just does not seem important to anyone. The US media has always favoured Israel, but rarely backs up any country in Africa. Nigeria is another country under much turmoil in the last year. Again not much reporting or reactions to it. It is the media's fault as much as the people who watch it and react to it. The media will present the case as tragic and horrific for one area and go on and on and on and on about it. Then another area will be mentioned with so much more horror going on, but it gets a side note. Making it not important to people, so their reactions are proportionate to the amount of press an item gets. Check it out for yourselves. There is crap going on all over the world that would make many of you cry out in sadness/anger. But it is not being treated the same as other lesser important events.
  11. I am happy you are taking my theory as fact and at face value. I am suggesting by a THEORY, conspiracy or otherwise. And the reality is that BILLIONS are missing from what was budgeted for Iraq. Besides you are too busy making useless posts that do not contribute anything of value to a thread. So keep on doing whatever it is you are doing. I am at least making an effort. Maybe you should focus on what if's, and what could happen. I said that money could be missing from Afghanistan. That sentence did not say if it was Canadian or US money. I just stated that money COULD be missing. It seems like you are not phased at all when it comes to that amount of money missing. It does not matter to you that money is being lost. And you don't care where that money could end up. Funding your very own demise. So there is a what if you can take home to think about. I don't know for 100% where the money went, and I think all funding should stop until they get their books/accountants together to find out where it went. It's like any company. I will budget 1 million for RnD. When a review is done it is found that 30% of that money is unaccounted for. It could have went to many things. And many of them could be for legitimate reasons. If it is not all accounted for (or at least not 30%, maybe 5% and under is almost acceptable) I would fire my accountants instantly. I am sure the investors in my company would like to know where their money is and what it is being used for. New staff would be hired. So it comes to Iraq and BILLIONS are missing/unnaccounted for. If I did not deal with that situation, I'd be an ignorant fool. Another reality is that Iran COULD launch a nuke. Does not make it so. But many of you think that is the case. Also if you recall the so called 'slam dunk' evidence that lead up to the Iraq invasion liberation. No yellow cake, no nukes...... The leaders of the US and Canada always tell us the what if's. What if a suicide bomber hit a mall in a US or Canadian city. The government peddles fear on all of you. Only I don't buy into it. For they always worry about what ifs, what could be, and what should happen. Now I see what some of you posters are really like. No deliberate thought process at all. Knee-jerk reactionists. Read, think, get insight, then post. If you cannot get past 'think', then... but this is all a what if I guess. EDIT le Alright. So here is Keith Olbermann talking about this very thing. Who would have thought someone else thinks that this is important. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHIvGr6ZytU He mentions the Iran Contra Affair. Recall that there Sharkman? It was proven that the US ... um some bad apples in the US government did some shady dealings with terrorists. End of the Edit le. History. Learn it. Love it. Or you will repeat it Sharkman. So pick up a book.
  12. I dont doubt that some of this money has fallen into enemy hands. $8B is a large amount of money. BUt um....last time I checked, Ottawa was still in ONT, so demands wont work. It was US greenbacks. Last time I checked it was in Ontario as well (thanks for that I ALMOST forgot where I live) However, it still does not take anything away from the fact that I demand better accounting for the taxpayers of this brutal war. On that note, I should even care more because Canada is involved in Afghanistan. And I would not doubt that money is missing there as well. I really don't care if the money is in Dinars, dollars, pesos ect.. money is missing and we all should be pissed about it.
  13. It could have happened therefore it is so. It could have happened, so it COULD be so. I made no definates there at all. Just putting some numbers together, like 2 plus 2 is 4. But we should look at all possibilities. If the US did not monitor that money closer much of it could have been taken and given to insurgents by government insiders. And this is 100% possible/probable, but not 100% fact, which you think I had stated it as a fact. Even CNN FOX ect had said the money COULD have helped insurgents. I threw something out there to expand on. Theory. I could be wrong, but I could be right. http://edition.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/01/30/iraq.audit/ Reported on Jan 31, 2005 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7737306/ Reported May, 2005 http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,129489,00.html Reported August 20, 2004 So it begs the question... that is quite a bit of money missing just from those 3 articles. What are the chances of the money being funneled to insurgents? It obviously was done under the radar so no one would notice. And with the situation in Iraq as it is, I would imagine there will be more reports of even more money missing. Whoever was keeping track of the transactions should be shot. So someone, Iraqi, or American is cooking the books and not tracking everything. I demand better accounting for the taxpayers money for this screwed up war. Demand answers. Here is more on that http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&safe=act...oney+iraq&meta=
  14. And yet another brilliant post by you Mr Sharkman. What about this... there is another thread where we show the money that is missing from Iraq. How the US military flew pallets of wrapped 100 dollar bills to Iraq in the first phases of the war. To pay for the government ect... but a lot of that money is missing and could have easily been haneded to the insurgent groups... and since there was no paper trail of any transactions, then it could be seen as helping Al-Queda.
  15. That BBC video showing the WTC 7 collapsing before it happened looks fake to me. The angle of the sun on her face in relation to everything else, and it looks like a green screen in the back. It does not look real. This BBC video can be ignored as evidence for 'inside job' .... it proves nothing.
  16. Was there anything in the news as of late that tells us of Cheney's trip to Afghanistan? I find it a bit odd that the Taliban , which so far has been taking back parts of Afghanistan, would have known a seceret trip. Or the attack just happened to occurr when Cheneyn was there. Making a false connection between a regular occurance of a truck/suicide bomb and Cheney being there. If Cheney was not there, this would not have been OMG breaking news. http://money.cnn.com/2007/02/27/markets/ma...dex.htm?cnn=yes This article is retarded. Only two short mentions of the Cheney attack, and the rest is just stock market stuff. And the two don't even seem to be connected in anyway. Seems like useless but purposeful 'connection' OMG the Taliban can influence the stock markets of the USA. Phswaawww. Catchme http://www.cbc.ca/canada/ottawa/story/2007...py.html?ref=rss Essentially paying the Afghans to produce opium so we can make pharmacuiticles out of it. And if Dion is a supporter of this, then I think he cannot be Liberal Leader... but I will save the rest of this part for a Canadian Politics thread. Edit le http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/6399527.stm OK looks like it was kept under the hat that Cheney was going to Kabul. So how did the Taleban know about his arrival and where he was staying?
  17. Pull up a chair folks: I think Jerry's gonna deliver the meticulously researched, incredibly insightful and incisive post on the Iran situation (including a full run down on possible options and their consequenses) that we've been waiting for.... Still waiting, it's been two days since I posted that. I am anxiously waiting for total spectrum insight from Jerry. NOTHING but the best of nothing will come forth. Oh and Jerry, I have been paying attention, I would bet a lot more than you have. I spend a lot of time reading and watching the news. It takes some time to form an opinion on things. Or we can all be knee-jerk-reactionists and shoot first, ask questions later. That can be very dangerous. The show was about nothing, and the poster is about nothing. Solid Jerry, just solid.
  18. Rumsfeld with Tim Russert on Meet the press told Tim that the Pentagon puts stories in foreign media to influence their views on others. The military is active in the area of Public Relatons proganda.
  19. I ditched the cable TV link 3 years ago. I still have the TV, (now it is a dedicated PS2/mame 'monitor') I read the paper, read the news sites and the other news sites. And I read this place. I watch my news clips online with my PC, MSM and the fringe. TV offers you nothing of importance anymore. BUT STAY TUNED ! MORE TO COME ON THIS IMPORTANT BREAKING STORY....
  20. Didn't watch them. Waste of fucking time. Get with some real news people. These things are just disctractions from more important things going on in the world. It's all superficial. Then again, I don't have cable TV (been off that drug for 3 years now) so television is really not worth paying for anymore. 300 channels of the same shit over and over. Mindless past time. Read a book, play a game, get out with friends. TV is killing you.
  21. It's already started. It has been going on for years, possibly decades. But not in a way you would have noticed off the top. Dig some. Questions stuff. Soon, you will no longer be a soveriegn citizen of Canada. It will be called something else. Canada, United States and Mexico will no longer be countries, but provices/states in a new regionalized government.
  22. There is a thread in CAN/SUS relations on this that I started. http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index.php?showtopic=6091 And another was made by US Citizen http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index.php?showtopic=6728 This is definately not a conspiracy. Or do you thing the European Union is a conspiracy? So if you have been awake at all and looking at these boards in the last few months, you would have heard about it. From what i know about the NAU, is that government will become centralized for the area. All decisions made by a group of poeple for the rest of us. England does not have control over much anymore, alot of what is done now is handles by Brussels. The same with all other countries there. We can see the same happen here. The bigger government gets, the more the command man looses out. Big busienss started it, and since big business controls much of the government, well you can see how this will turn out unless we the people do something about this. Charles Anthony, if you were not so complacent in your life, you would have heard of it.
  23. Well this is interesting on some levels. The Judge had some issues you'd say. But looking in the legal side of things (oh now that's a good one) would the judge get away with it on a technecality of his privacy was invaded ect ect? The other guy could be considered a hacker with malicious intent. The law is messed up that way. Actually the laws are sound for the most part, the system is quite flawed. But being him a judge, he needs to be terminated imediatly, house arrest ect. Charged with whatever.
  24. So someone like Kim Jong Ill of North Korea is not a threat eventhought it has nukes? NEGOTIATIONS - DIPLOMACY ..... this seemed to have worked, but I doubt NKs actions are sincere. And they will backstab again like they have done in the past. Iran does not have the nukes, but you are treating them like they do. American Imperialism is what I fear the most. Jerry is a poster about nothing.
  25. Leafless And if you take away anyones right to do just that, then you become the oppressor, and you become what you hate the most. And by letting the 'left' bug you as much as it does, then it is not the left's problem to begin with. The left is about freedom for all. The right seems to have freedom for a select few in mind. If you want, call me Black Dog's #1 Left hand man. I don't agree with BD on everything, but I know he sports overall the same values as me. So I will back up his right and your right to say whatever the fuck you want. A man is defined by his actions. Not his words. If words hurt, then you have thin skin and might not be able to put things in an objectable manner. You don't need to worry about what I say. Just worry about what I do. But then the right just worries about 'what if', and ramps it up to the Nth degree. Politicians are all talk. Not much action going on there. Only after action can you actually start to watch the words of a man. Bush and company lied about the intell to the Iraq war, and the actions were that they invaded Iraq. NOW, I pay more attention to what is said, for it can have serious reprocussions if you do not at least pay attention and take it all in. Most you can toss right out the door as garbage. So let's see here. Bush said he was going to invade Iraq, for reasons that were explained but based on false claims. -- Really I think this was a bad move. Bush invaded Iraq. --The bad move happened and the false claims were still just that. Bush says he is going to invade Iran --Another bad move So based on his actions, not his words (which really have little to no value anywhere) I will say that Bush is planning an attack on Iran. Prediction Bush invades Iran, for reasons that will be explained and again, based on false claims. --Iran will be invaded, and the false claims will be shown for what they really were. Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice ... I forget how Bush put it.
