FFS, I laughed so damn hard at this, almost had to clean Dortmunder off my screen. You nailed it. Everyone can stand the smell of their own poo. I can even stand the smell of some friend's poo. But sometimes, that stench .... all the Febreeze, Lysol and those little green pine tree car fresheners can't take care of that smell. Oui, c'est correct. He did stink. No doubt about it. Man, you always try this, and I always agree with you. Why is that?

Carter counts Israeli nukes
GostHacked replied to Leafless's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Leafless. You are correct about France giving Israel nuclear technology. I am mistaken there. Man how many of you can admit to mistakes. Anyone? Beuler? BC .. Dancer. Dogporch. But if it is AOK for Israel to have nukes, then it is AOK for anyone else to have them. What? You don't like that you say? Wanna see my care face?? Wanna see their care faces? VX never gas has a way shorter life span than any nuclear weapon. It is the kind of thing you make now, use now. Nukes, you can sit on a bit. More expensive, but at least you can rattle some sabres. -
BC And you say You might be right, and again I stress, that without the catalyst that was 9/11 and the anger it created, the failed intelligence about wmd trumpeted from the roofs which lead to the invasion of Iraq, would have been shown for what it really was. A fallacy. That failed intelligence that most of us , including you BC, knew was a fallacy to begin with, is now showing up in droves on CNN, msnbc, ECT and many online news sources and blogs. For Example. CNN http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/05/28/mcc...tion/index.html Richard Clarke responds Yes there is some critizism of the book from other officials like; YEAH !! There is a man you can trust. You think Iraq is telling those forces what to do?? Yikes. It was a US LED invasion, just in case you missed that. Which still makes it a US led invasion.... er I mean mission of freedom. M Dancer How much are you paying for gas now? Iraq can't even pump near the amount of oil out of the ground as it did 10 years ago, even leading up to the war. The defunct corrupted oil for food program was a total farce. All meaning to control the flow of oil out of Iraq, to slowly turn off the taps. And now the US has complete control over Iraq's oil. If you think for one moment that Iraq actually controls anything in that country, you are mistaken. Iraq's oil will not be bringing wealth to the Iraqi's anytime soon.

Carter counts Israeli nukes
GostHacked replied to Leafless's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Oh those Jews would have ripped him apart right there and then. Also, Israel does not invite anti-semites to dinner and pay their way at the same time. So, do you know what a diamond is? Dog on Porch The US has delivered many high grade weapons to Israel. Bunker busters, patriot missle batteries, and yes I will say nuclear weapons. Since the US is Israel's closest ally, one can easily see that the US will give what it can to protect Israel. This is why it is seemed as an open secret. They never needed to test them, because whoever gave them to Israel has already done the extensive testing. Small nuke, big nuke, they are still WMDs. A few hundred thousand, a few million... meh. -
Not to worry, you were not the only one. I missed it at first as well. The fallacy is that there is a War on Terror. A war on ideology that cannot possibly be won. If that was so, you would see less religions around the world, not the emergence of new ones. The fallacy is this War on Terror to bring freedom to others, is nothing more than a ruse for the real plan of controlling the natural resources, and especially energy resources. Because China is a threat to the US with their booming economy. With that boom, more energy is used. Those who sell energy resouces will sell to the highest bidder. Or who can buy more at any given time. China is growing fast. The US is never going to leave Iraq. They are there to stay. Bases are being built in Iraq and Afghanistan. Those bases sit very close to energy sources and the delivery systems such as pipelines that cross the lanscape. BC Well 9/11 happened, that was not a fallacy. The fallacy is .... sorry, cant go into this, you know tin foil hat territory. Anyways ....you would have more people wanting to contribute to the Iraq situation if it was officially NATO approved and supported. NATO went in balls to the wall in Afghanistan, that I agree with. NATO approved the mission to Afghanistan. I do not know for sure if NATO played any kind of role in Iraq. Did they approve of it? If so, you would actually have Canadian forces serving in large numbers there. I am not talking about the Canadian troops that are on exchange stints in US military forces. Officialy Canada has never send troops to Iraq to support the war. Instead you have the Poles, Aussies, Brits and smaller forces pulling out of Iraq. Some small forces from smaller countries simply pulled out and never returned. Is this a sign of progress, or a sign that things were not what they seemed. Hence the fallacy. More or less it would be mandatory for NATO forces to join in on the fight. Iraq just shows that clearly is not the case. Sure some NATO countries joined in, but officaly NATO on the whole? Maybe you can shed some light on this.

This was unexpected to say the least. It seems McClellan had a tough time trying to keep a straight face when giving the daily press briefings. And of the former advisors, McClellan is one of the few comming out against Bush and the intel regarding the Iraq war. DURRRRRRRRRRRRRR. If you look at some of the other disgraced former advisors, some of them are back on MSM as political advisors/analysts OP-EDs ect. Rove is on Fauxnews, you can expect Tony Snow to be back in FauxNews sometime soon... or wait, last I heard he is with CNN. But from what the MSM is saying about the book. McClellan is really talking about the advisors Bush had, and that they were the ones who gave the botched intelligence. Never placing direct blame on Bush, but saying they were both duped into the whole mess. To me this seems just so improbable, it is impossible. They knew the intelligence was botched from the start. But one only has to worry about that if it comes to light. Gonna need a few more large hollywood style spotlights.
-
But they needed a fallacy to begin with. So they will need the fallacy to continue. I know you don't see it as such, but that is not my problem. No, this fallacy of a war on terror will in fact continue. Gotta cover up all the recent lies with more lies. It will be ramped up severly only after another 'terror attack' on the US Homeland soil. Without it ,the current status quo will just continue. Remiel Sounds on the money there. Iraq and Afghanistan were attacked because most of the 9/11 terrorists were Saudi's. So yeah makes sense. Sure one infamous Saudi called Osama Bin Laden was, starting terror training camps. Initially they were called the Muhajedeen. They fought off the Red Army, with the US's help. But since the Saudi's are the US's friend, and they supply much of the oil to the US. Don't want to bite the hand that feeds you, but the hand that feeds you can slap yours anytime they want.

Carter counts Israeli nukes
GostHacked replied to Leafless's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
It has been an open secret that Israel has nuclear weapons. The amount was always speculated, because there apparently is no evidence to support it. Yet we can determine that Iran is in the process of building nukes. Any investigation into Israel is prompty voted down by the US in the UN. The US vetos in Israel's favour, always have, always will. -
No they don't, but without it, it becomes harder for the powers that be to go forth with the plan. Without 9/11, Iraq/Afghanistan would have been the toughest sell ever. There will have to be a new 9/11 for the next stage of their plan to be executed. And considering the War on Terror is an absolute fallacy to begin with. Yes, fallacy will continue.

WCI: Western Climate Initiative
GostHacked replied to August1991's topic in Canada / United States Relations
Eyeball So erase the borders we have now and make new ones?? Getting the US populace on board with the NAU, seems like a tough sell considering the US has a strong identity. You know the proud to be an american, that type of thing. Remiel It will happen within the next 10 top 15 years. We already have the European Union and African Union. Just around the corner is the NAU, the Asian Union, and then you could have one for Australia and area, then another one for South America. What was divided up and set as country borders earlier this past century and being combined again to form massive economic unions. That is really all they are economic unions, and only those who control those unions will benefit ecomically. -
It does not matter if there will be another terror attack on the US homeland soil. It will get spinned either way. If it does not happen : SEE?? our policies are working If it does happen : SEE?? We need to step up our policies. Either way it will be spun. Either way it will provide the next administration with anything they need to continue the falacy that is the War on Terror.
-
BC But you fail to address the question about refining your view about the high road. And many have their spines bent out of shape because they believe everything they hear, and take it at face value. You are correct, I do not like it. But instead of sitting there and being blind and complacent and saying everything is AOK, I prefer to point out the hypocracies and deceptions that are abound out there. Once that is done, people are like .. yeah you are right,,, 10 minutes later, they forget everything. This is due to contant brainwashing by the powers that be. You are definately not standing up for what is right. You are happy with Iraqi's dying because of the lies that brought the US into war with Iraq. Again, you and I know and understand the plan was in place long before, does that make it right? War never determines who is right, only who is left. So this war is a farce, falacy, and you are happy with the reality people are dying for the wrong reasons that were trumpeted from the so called high road. MSM and the current administration says... We are bringing them freedom. The real reason is a new American Empire to stiffle the flow of cheap oil to the world. Controlling those resources to combat a fast booming economy. So the 2nd Cold War has already started. This time the opposition is China. The information is so sanatized by the MSM that you never hear the real story anymore. Those images of dead bodies and blood and guts out on the streets never hit MSM. So your perceived truth about things being AOK in Iraq are wrong as well. If those gruesome images were to hit airwaves, (sure the net has them, but ....) layed out on the 6 Oclock news, more people will take notice. People don't like to live in the real world. They are living the fantasy. BC, you do support the war. That much is clear. You know the real reasons the war started. You know the reasons that are played out all over the news are different that those real reasons. You point that out all the time. But yes, I know, Canada is bad too. Something we both agree on as well. We both agree that things done under the guise of liberation are not so. The powers that be are making sure they stay the powers that be.
-
Oh please. Everytime you brought up Canada, I agreed with you. So how you claim I am on the high road is a joke. Canada was never an empire. Or are you talking about the British Empire which spawned the US and Canadian colonies at the start.. For that you really have no idea what your country stands for either. That seems to be changing all the time. You are being apologetic for the status quo. Get some back bone in you. I doubt you know what reality is if everything is presented as a lie. Because you still support the war and the invasion of Iraq. Again if the reality is twisted, then what non-fiction are you throwing into the conversation? I am on this ship, and I want to change how it runs. Starting with the likes of you. I cannot change government untill I change the population to open their eyes, get a back bone, stop being so damn complacent in their lives. If all this crap was happening to the US by some other superpower, you would be the first to cry. This I will put money on. I have endured the stench of each and everyone of your posts. Not only that I agree with much you say. That is the way it is right now. But that needs to change. This Good Ship Lollipop is not going to last forever. I have my life raft ready to go when it does. Do you?
-
Same lame tactics the Bush Administration has used through the terms. Same tactics you portray. Dishonesty with distraction, claiming the high ground. But you don't care as we know. So everything you say from now on is a lie. This shows to me you have no integrity as a human. You don't really ever stand for anything specific. Now back to the topic ... again. Look we all know for a fact there were lies to get to war. I know you and I both understand the real reasons behind the war. But you are too chicken it seems to even admit it. You love shuffling the blame where it suits you. Exactly how the Bush administration does things. Hell you might even be one of those Pentagon paid bloggers to spew forth the garbage they represent. You represent falacies and fictitious arguments. Like the Bush Administration. You simply represent many things that are wrong with the current administration , and humanity on the whole.

Why indeed. Ask yourself that. Why are you buying something you do not need? Then think about what influenced your decision to get said product. Marketing creates an image that people want to be a part of. The same way marketing works to sell you the latest gas guzzlin SUV. It is all a matter of creating an atmosphere in which you think you crave and want these items. If you don't you are not cool. Through the images and text and sound on the ad, if you do not buy in, you are a looser. You really do not need that huge gas guzzlin Ford Expedition. But you want it. And you pay your precious cash to have these comforts. All these creature comforts we have had in Europe and the West for so long and so cheap is comming to an end. Now that China has more cash to throw around, leisurly activities are becomming more affordable for them, you can see a shift in where oil goes. For all the cheap labour China provides for an outsourced manufacturing sector, Europe and the West lose income capable people. This income challanged folks can no longer afford anything else but cheap ass products from China. Major shift in the world economy. Which demands a major shift in how resources get allocated. Oil being one of those resources..... money is to be made.

BC Bush presented a perceived truth about 9/11. - Why it happened. The US presented a perceived truth about the lethality of Saddam/Iraq. - OH NOES NUKES. The perceived truths have been changed to match the current truth. - TOP 10 REASONS WE THINK THE INVASION WAS A GOOD IDEA..... The perceived truths are constantly changing by the administration about the war and what it means. So what is the truth? The popular perceived truth is that this war on terror is winnable. This perception has been pimped out so hard by the US administration and the MSM. There is instant ridicule of anything that can be considered an alternative or a real truth. Your MSM simply does not want to tell you the truth. This is why we have more O'Reilly's than Olbermanns.
-
So what you are saying is that you do not care for truth? By your posts, one can surmise that you do not care, nor respect the truth. Tis all about the ratings and making a profit and one always makes a profit at someone elses expense. Congress went along with it (by your definition) because there was a plan in place long before the decision to go to war was made.

I will try to stay on topic for you then. So let's get back to it then, instead of continually bitching about how people post. One way to kill it is to ignore what was irrelevant to the post and de-digress back to the topic. So here we go...... Winning the war by the first term is shortsightedness considering how long this so called war has been going on. It seems to be a continuing effort of patchwork and troop surges to keep the status quo. There seems no real progress in my view. M. Dancer I completely agree. Totaly dismanteling one system before you even have a plan to get the other system working. It seems to me that it was all brought down and thrown out. Instead of making a gradual shift, this sudden change in how Iraq works on the whole is a whole mess and was detremental to the retructuing of the country. Many people who worked for Saddam were scared out of their wits and then many who were loyal to Saddam, but still scared out of their wits. To go against what Saddam says means death. Now you have those same people out of work. No work, many homeless, many are thirsty for clean drinking water, and reliable power infrastucture. Many are starving. These types of conditions just fuel anger and hate and animosity. Since the first Gulf War, and the years of sanctions, the great debacle of an oil for food program, no fly zones. This took a serious toll on Iraq as a whole. Seriouly weakining the country's ability to do anything since Iraq invaded Kuwait. They should have gone after Saudi Arabia, now THAT would have been neat. Alright Saddam was a tyrant, but he was the US's tyrant for some time. Actually now that I think of it, it is hypocritical to supply chemicals/munitions to Saddam then bitch about how they were used to gas the kurds. The US never made much of a fuss about it then, so why make a big fuss out of it now? This war will end sometime, but not in the near future. And eventhough the US claims that they do not want to be a permanent presence in Iraq, the huge military bases the US is building there, clearly shows their real intentions. They never had a withrdawl plan. Never needed one, for they never intended on it.

You can try the ignore feature on me. I hear it works well. I have used it before. I hope you keep close focus on the threads you participate in. At least your post here of pointing me out shows that you are not carrying this thread by actually talking about it to further the conversation. You chose to just point me out. What people choose to ignore, and what people choose to focus on, sometimes is frightening. Like saying that Islam is dangerous when they support another religion like Chritianity, which can be just as dangerous. But anyways, it was a reletive post because of Shady's question. Mind you I did not get the real meaning at first. But I accept your apology.

Pliny Ecomonics has always confused me as well. Fractional reserves, fiat currency. Through Google Videos and Youtube, and various reads online, I have been way more informed than I ever was, and economics still does not make sense to me.
