  1. Using BOSE is a perfect example of huge mark up for a really middle of the road product. Bose is just horrible with sound reproduction. Great if you have a lot of money and little room to put a full stereo in. Bose is overpriced garbage. You can buy something that sounds better for 850 bucks.
  2. BC And what did you learn by studying history? People that study history, see the atrocities of past leaders and compare them to current leaders and say, no difference who cares... they are the fools.
  3. OH OK, so that is the excuse to leave the documents there anyways??? I don't need much of an a education to understand and realize that work documents just don't get left at a coffee shop. Here is what I understand about the difference of the two. When I go see a doctor, that information is CONFIDENTIAL. Only you and your doctor know. Top Secret documents are considered CLASSIFIED. Only selected approved personel may know. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classified_information. OH wait. Confidential is a classification of Classified information. Interesting. So I am not correct.
  4. August I live without the CBC. But that is a personal choice. Bush is an idiot. That is not hard to see. And I am not sure they really choosed him as President. The courts claimed he was the victor in the 2000 elections. Remember the debacle that was Florida? Recount, recount, recount, then discounted and ignored other ballots. Those great 'unhackable' Diebold voting machines. I hope you understand the Queen of England is a figure head and holds no power at all. She got there by being born into the Monarchy. Today she is nothing but a symbolic figurehead that has no power. Where the President of the US has power and can/has/will use that power. And you don't get to be president if you are an average citizen. You are born into it, but in a different way from a Queen. In the US, you are born into wealth and power. We can go back to Prescott Bush (GWBs grandfather) who dealt with the Nazi's during WWII. Prescott was a banker a very wealthy man. When you have wealth, you have power. Then we see George Bush SR. and now Bush Jr. as Presidents. Every single one of them has the ability to do it. But again the reprocussions are what are on peoples minds. Could you classify that as extortion? Bribery? And it happens all over the world in all countries. If you are not one of the good ol boys, or don't support the good ol boys then you will be maginalized. Again, this is the state of FEAR that the powers that be want you to remain in. FEAR FEAR FEAR.
  5. I think people really need to start beleiving in themselves and each other. We put to much faith in this mystical entity termed god. I have struggled with that question of god at an early age. I think before I was 10 I came to the conclusion I did not beleive in a god. Religion and god tell you what is. That is it. Nothing more. Althought I must admit, there are some good lessons to be learned in the Bible and other religious texts, but to base all your morals on those texts is shortsightedness. Those who claim to know everything are the ones you question the most. Drea Not me personaly, but I have seen that example on TV on many Sundays. sharkman Only God knows. OH god not now. Holy shit. Jesus Christ. Yeah, I used those terms quite often without really thinking about it. Just kind of part of the language we all use.
  6. Well I always point out Bush is an idiot. Then you always point out other leaders who have done simliar actions, which enables me to draw the conclusion that all leaders are idiots. Most of those idiots do know how to run, or what a circle is. But even people running circles around me can get tripped up if I put my foot out. OH, wait but you will say they will just run over it and keep on going. I am always skeptical of the person who says 'everything is fine'. My morals are sound, and consistant. Can't say that for those 'smart' leaders. I don't see cheap gas anywhere. Which makes me glad I do not own a vehicle.
  7. There were those documents left in the trash on Bank street here in Ottawa with regards to blueprints for a new military installation that is a first response facility for distasters of anykind. FTA, you are so correct. You don't post enough!! People would rather live in the fantasy world and say everything is fine. That is how leaders are able to get away with this crap. People would rather look away and ignore it than confront it to make things better. Because of the fear people live in about reprocussions if they speak out. Like someone who does not want to rat out the theif at work because that person might get in trouble from others that you work with. This is where it helps to have a backbone and a sense of right and wrong. I have ratted people out at work. And I would do it again, and because I had the balls to say something, I have made the work environment here a better and safer place to work. Only if more people would do this. We could change the world overnight. I have also earned a lot of respect from more people than I can think of. People have thanked me for my actions. I did it so overtly that people instantly payed attention. I have not only ratted on union employees, I have ratted on other people in mangement. Somehow I got respect from all sides. Maybe it is because I can stand on my own. And have fought on my own. People don't mind being used, but people hate being abused. The word here is integrity. August... Maybe you need to educate yourself on classified documents, and how leaving them at a coffee shop would really be a bad thing. You would not leave your credit history report just lying on the coffee shop table for all to see? You would not leave your wallet there, why would you leave work documents there? Even if they were NOT classified. BC is right in a sense. Information today is worth more than gold. But with computers storing all the information, and with all these computers connected together, all you need is a plain computer to get at all that other information. The most important data is stored on isolated server systems that do not whatsoever touch any other private/public/military network.
  8. Actually I do get it. I will worry about your next leader from afar, but it is you that will be affected first. And yes my leaders are idiots as well. They are all idiots. You would rather be lead by idiots. Unless you are not as smart as those idiot leaders, then I cannot see/understand the reasons for supporting those idiots. But I have a feeling you are smarter than a 5th grader. I have a feeling you have more of a spine that what you portray here. August Bush Derangement Syndrome is a right wing republican smear term. The one that suffers most from that is Bush himself. Also by electing him again (and those elections seemed real shady) you just put up with more abuse and more bullsh!t. If you love being screwed in the ass, then please continue on down this path. I think you would be called a patriot. I have only heard a couple members of congress/senate throw impeachment into the ring , but I have heard plenty of regular folk saying impeachment.
  9. Well Bush told us there was dog crap, he thought he smelled dog crap, but yet unable to find dog crap in Iraq. But you know that is not even the reason anymore. So those leash laws and pooper scooper no longer apply, because there was no dog poop. Good comparison though, maybe for a gradeschooler.
  10. Inconsistant? Cognitive? Wild wild west? At least try to live in this century. Yes I know you are comfortable with lies and hypocracy of your leaders. If you support it, then I am going to draw the conclusion that you are a hypocrite and a liar as well. Please tell me if I am wrong here.
  11. Hell, Bush himself has provided plenty of evidence to support his own impeachment. Integrity should win over political ambition, but too many people sell out right away.
  12. When will you stop apologizing for them? Yeah sex is impeachable while war crimes are not. See this is the sad state of your Amurika phuck YEH. Sure, we should throw Cretien, Blair, Chriac, Schroeder, and many many more into the mix. Something I agree with you, but you choose to do nothing about it. Oh it is because you can't? Apologetic and self-defeatist at the same time. But this is the status quo you are comfortable about. You support the lies and hypocracy. You might as well just lie down. It is like a look into schizophrenia. HEY LOOK CHEAP GAS !!!!.
  13. A precident needs to be set, and those idiots need to be made an example, and accountable to their actions. No one is above the law. If it does not happen now, it will never happen again for future presidents. This means they can abuse the power without reprocussions. Start the process anyways. Clinton was in the impeachment process in his last year of his only term. So it is never too late. If Bush cannot be impeached in time, then try him on war crimes when he is out of office. He will have less to protect him after he is out of office.
  14. What makes you believe that Iran is a threat? That good ol USA intelligence that worked so well to get the US into a never ending war? We can look at intelligence failures regarding Iraq, and now we can see much bullsh!t when it comes to what the US thinks of Iran. Fool me twice ... shame on ... durrrrr.
  15. So if you are President you are above the law? Is that what you are getting at here?
  16. McClennan was asked, and he will now testify. Rove refused. Bush even said straight up 'I don't testify, but I am willing to meat with them'. Bush even told Miers not to testify. If they don't testify, they cannot back up anything they said. They don't want everyone to know that they broke the oath of office by testifying. http://www.americanprogress.org/issues/kfiles/b28200.html This little nugget is regarding a commision Bush himself had set up to look into the failed intelligence concerning Iraq. I don't testify? Is he asking a question like 'should I testify?' If he needs to ask that question, then he should not have been president.
  17. Watch out for the sniper fire !!!!
  18. Shady Not to mention most of them have a written copy that they flip through while standing behind the podium. So even with two copies of the speach. When one leader can speak without using either one, you got yourself a great candidate.
  19. Yes, plagarism is just stupid. Stand on your own words. And to point out I already stated that politicians should wright their own speaches. I am all over Bush for a lot more than just plagarizin' huyuuk. But again, politicians used the same rehashed crap over and over again, READ MY LIPS !!!! That kind of crap is old, tiring and well, stagnant. So no, I don't support plagarism. Hope I made this clear for you.
  20. Actually, I included it. Or did you miss that little bit. Also I have not really thought that one out yet. That is a work in progress. Guess I will learn me some history.
  21. Well it seems obvious that the answer to violence is ... more violence. One should come to the conclusion that I do not support the current US aggression, and do not support terrorism, genocide, ect ect ect. Simply I think those acts are wrong and abhorent. I really hate the fact we are told to live in fear all the time. Hell no one even wants to talk to their neighbours anymore because we are all told to live in fear. Fear of anything, not just the boogyman that is terrorism. Talk is cheap, but there are huge profits in talking to your neighbours.
  22. No you do not, but in the time it took to write the reply, you could have told me Patrick WHO. I was at work at the time and could not view Youtube. So I asked. So why do I bother posting??? When people like you just assume things? Not my problem it seems. But please feel free to continue to assume stuff at random without thinking about it. I won't be taking back my post. Politicians have been saying the same things over and over again, new face, same speach. Same broken promises. edit for more of this Oh and now after I had viewed the video... i still say Patrick WHO??? Never heard of this guy before, so I'd still ask the same thing. So Patrick rehashed a bunch of older speaches that Obama rehashed from Patrick.
  23. Actually we don't. And your well crafted responses are reasons enough to show what is wrong with America. Musolini would have died already due to old age. But we know what happened to him. Rue points out the Posse Comitatus Act ... now with a few Executive Orders, Bush has circumvented the constitution and made his own rules. Now you see military personell roaming the streets of your average american city... but for what?? OH YES, urban training. Not only that, you have military personell from other countries training with those american soldiers in american streets. Essentially you can have a soldier from France dictating the localized area. And with circumventing the constitution, you are violating it. Plain and simple. It is not my constitution at all, for I am just a Canuckian. But I know that the constitution has been compromised. And that should say something to you. BC accepts that the constitution is just a peice of paper with no merrit. Or else you might find BC fighting the current idiotic status quo that comes out of the White House. Apologetic for sure. "This has the way it has always been, why change it." The thing is, it has already changed. But you failed to notice those changes. Funny how people outside the country can see it. But like other say, sometimes you don't even know what is going on in your own house. Meh, expect more braniac one liners from BC. That is all he is capable of.
  24. Patrick who?? All politicians speak the same doublespeek language. All of them, everywhere. All of them use each other speaches. All of them are just spewing rehashed promises that were broken long before.
  25. Mr. Bush can't even read the teleprompter. Leaders need to write their own speaches.
