Your making sh1t up once again, show me a post where i root for mother Russia....just one.... I've spent 34 years of my life serving this country, the whole time listening to guys like you question my patriotism, or character, guys like you that have done nothing or very little for this great nation other than sit behind a keyboard and chirp those that have served in some capacity or another... Guys like you who, will never know the sounds,smells, what it feels like emotional, the taste, or how it feels to watch a brother in arms body being put into a small baggy because thats all we could find...guys like you will always be on the side lines, always chirping about something...guys like you don't bother me anymore... Our military does what it can with what Canada gives it,and more.... It is something that makes Canadians all across this country proud, that they are so cheap... if it sucks it is because Canadians like you have allowed it to suck....you've sat on the side lines and watched it be degraded for decades, while real Canadians step up and serve knowing full well Canadians don't give a rats a$$ about anything outside their bubble...you included...sure you can pump up your chest, beat the war drums...but in the end your just another chirper...that has contributed very little to this nation....

Sure it is easy to say when your on the side lines with no skin in the game....and while those on the side lines are pumped up, to kill orcs by the thousands, this war is claiming lives on both sides....those pictures are a reminder of that...

well over a thousand men have or are taking part of this mission, Your ex military think they have a plan for extraction...they are going to push until expended, and the farther they push the more exposed their flanks are... Yes they are at war with Russia, i get that, and on paper this might have sounded like a brilliant plan...Do you think at this time Ukrainian forces could afford the men and resources being expended in this incursion, i mean that could not be better spent on holding back Russian advances...This is not the first incursion into Russia, during this conflict we would have to ask IS Russia going to revisit border security...I personal don't think so...nothing that is going to make any real difference next time... Moral booster are a huge thing , but like anything they are time sensitive...they only last a few weeks then they are gone, is that benefit worth over a thousand men's lives.. Thats not my point at all...my point here is Ukraine has a very limited amount of resources, and a large portion of those incoming resources are dependent on other countries to round up, send to ukraine...and can be held up for the smallest reasons...there is no huge warehouse full of reserve equipment that you and i know our nations have....every man , women , and piece of equipment should be husbanded like there is no replacement...Showing putin that his borders are as leaking as a canadian navy AOP is not worth the cost of over a thousand troops and some of his best tanks... Should they surrender, thats a complicated question, if they are totally dependent on NATO to provide equipment, that has already proven to be shaky at best...on and off again...not a good way to fight a war...NATO is almost at the end of its rope , we already see some countries like German, Canada cut off or drastically cut back it's support of equipment...becasue they to are in trouble with funds...I'm sure Ukraines government sees this as clear as day...and they must be wondering with the US election coming closer just what the future support is going to look like...In the end, we in the west see just numbers of the amount of dead or wounded...to Ukraine it means a father, husband or mother , an entire generation being chewed up, and no real end in sight. Does that mean surrender, thats not up to you and i , thats up to Ukraine...

Ukrainians are not using combine arms tactics....Simple drones are having there 15 mins in the spot light...counter measures are already on the battle field...from mounting 30 mm auto cannons and radar on tanks and IFV's a quick burst and the drone is history... The job of the infantry has rarely changed we still dismount and still fix bayonets' to clean out trenches/ Objective's...that will never change, all that has changed is how we run around the battle field...Israelis have gone to using old tank hulls for IFV's armor will just keep getting thicker, LAV 6.0 is around 25 plus tones, new german Lynx is around 40 tons...tech will evolve and drones will be another tool in the tool box, as a offensive weapon that will fade away or become more specialized as a recon tool.

At what price is it going to cost Ukraine....this incursion is not going to change anything...not for Ukraine, not for Russia, at most it is a temporary moral booster for Ukrainian troops, which will be short lived...and completely forgotten in a few months. Well whats that say about EV's in BC, even when they have to drive the extra mile to get fuel....I think i countered all your points, Nope all three of the new Gas stations or truck stops have no charging stations...or course 1 of them is still under construction so i'll have to wait and see...the source i gave you was of Apr this year so it is pretty accurate, and your EV charger does not plug into your weed wacker plug...at least not here in NB, here you need a 220/240 outlet created or installed, if there is room on your panel...and not everyone on your block can have a charger mounted in their home, the grid is not set up that way or so the media has said...

Here in Fredericton NB i have seen 3 new gas stations being built, two of them directly across from their competitors...i think fossil fuel is here to stay for a while...now what happens in BC is anybody guess they like to torture themselves as climate believers...I do think the EV market is going to pick up, once the tech gets a little better, according to Elon musk....but there is no shortage of pickups in NB, sometimes it is the only way to get to work in the winter...something i doubt an non truck EV is going to do... Is it immoral for a mother to kick her kids out of the house because she doesn't want them anymore...drop them off at the local fire hall, or hospital...with a note i don't want these kids any more...are those good moral choices... Like any thing in life there are rules to the exception, abortion would be legal if there was rape, or unwanted sex...medical reasons, drug issues, and perhaps others i have not thought of , but one should see a medical and mental health doctor before any procedures are done...One must think of all the options this women had before making this one decision, the morning after pill, condoms, the patch, millions of other inventions to stop pregnancy... most of them affordable , less than a pack of smokes...and still after all that, abortion is the one of the choices they turn to for prevention... While we are dumping unwanted humans in the medical waste so many parents out there are looking to adopt...some even going out of country to do so , because the lists and wait is so long.

Lofty goals which we have yet to even meet one of those goals set by this or past governments...nor will we at this rate....I think everyone on this forum will agree our current climate plan is full of shi*, and will not accomplish much of anything....Another indicator that this government is not very interested in climate change, and even with all this failures and the media has let all of us know we are very aware of the failures but we seem happy with at least we have a climate plan...another indicator that we the people don't really give a shi* either
