Harper - The International Embarrassment Continues
PIK replied to ReeferMadness's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The UN its self is the joke and the people that run it. Talk about letting the fox run the chicken coop. -
Cy again you are wrong, your HDS is showing. I am one of those people that cannot afford to max out. But shortly a old investment of mine will be paying me off and then I can max it out. Just because some people cant do it now, does not mean it is a bad idea. And with a lot of old money coming down the pipeline with the elderly dying off, people thru inheritances can use it.
-
And they should ,this is wrong. Show me where it says these women have to wear them. I will bet you cant find it, unless you look in the extremists book of rules. Every Canadian should be upset at this. And what really disturbs me is the fact the judges said they want to fast track this so she can vote. We all know she is not voting conservative. The SCC is becoming all to powerful. How did we get bto this pt where the unelected judges run the country, I thought parliament ran the country. HDS at its worst.

Muslim Hysteria Reaches New Low in Texas
PIK replied to cybercoma's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
A muslim name, a box of circuit boards and a school. That is enough to make people worry. -
Even some teacher friends of mine are getting embarrassed, but when I say stand up to your union, they get very quiet.

Harper - The International Embarrassment Continues
PIK replied to ReeferMadness's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The UN and peacekeeping is a joke. It does nothing but billions of dollars for what. Where is the UN right now with what is going on with refugees. Where are they. Where are the blue helmets rushing in to save the day. If the UN had any back bone, 100,000 troops should be in that area right now. With the equipment and mandate to end the suffering. But instead we have nothing, -
Now he insults old people, with his cracks about windows 95 and the fax machine. Wrong people to be mocking.

One of the reasons I won't be voting for Harper: Economic record
PIK replied to marcus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Ian Lee was saying that the new jobs that harper has created is one main reason why he has a surplus, more people working more taxes coming in. -
Harper - The International Embarrassment Continues
PIK replied to ReeferMadness's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
There is, harper is not planning 20 billion dollar boondoggle of a energy plan, the same plan that has sunk ONT. Even Mulcairs plan will fail unless there is major cuts and high taxes. -
Listening to pro Ian Lee, trudeaus plan is a gaffe. People should read on what he says when it comes to the economy. And he laughs at all the people that think the numbers are fixed.

Federal Budget Balanced - last year (without GM shares too)
PIK replied to Smallc's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Imagine a government saving money. I remember the old days when government depts had extra money ,they went on a spending spree, well, I guess no more and that is a good thing. -
BC CHICK check this out I hope it helps you. http://www.torontosun.com/2015/08/17/harper-derangement-syndrome-goes-mainstream It was a clear case of Harper Derangement Syndrome (HDS), whereby people are so blindly incensed by the mere fact Stephen Harper is prime minister that they can’t think straight, thus completely undermining whatever credibility their arguments may have had. It’s one thing to witness such antics from anonymous misfits, it’s another to see them in the pages of the Toronto Star. “Why Harper (and friends) are a bigger threat than (the Islamic State)” is the actual headline of an opinion piece by Tony Burman, that appeared on Saturday

Federal Budget Balanced - last year (without GM shares too)
PIK replied to Smallc's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The middle class, the most spoiled people in the country and they are doing well. But anyways this is a response from trudeau's team. The question was what are you going to do with the repairs to 24 suffix and the liberal answer is.... Jean-Luc Ferland, spokesman for Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau “What Mr. Trudeau is focusing on is meeting Canadians and presenting his plan to kick-start the economy through strategic investments in infrastructure to create jobs and strengthen the middle class.” How stupid do the liberals think canadians are. -
Exactly, so it was not rocket science that people seem to say about martin paying it off. He was nothing special. But he did get a tax cut for his company.
-
The british used a butcher and bolt scheme. When someone acted up, they butchered them and then left. Screw up again and we will be back. That is what the ISIS problem needs right now. But, but, but the civilians will be hurt or killed the left will scream. Yes there will be, but not as many as letting it fester for 10 yrs when millions die instead of thousands.

Great post rue, all canadians should read that. -
CY that is a joke. Chretien and mulroney are real fraudsters. This government is clean compared to those 2. Every government will have issues, it is just how many and how bad. Harper has one of the cleanest to date. Look at who was convicted, was it not for spending to much of their OWN MONEY and not the taxpayers. Harper is in trouble for trying to get taxpayers money back and he is being vilified for that. Open your eyes man.

Because chiana has a get a free ride card in its back pocket. What dont you understand about the fact we produce 1.6% of the stuff. And to even cut it by 30% as harper has said is pretty well impossible unless everyone wants to give up their cars. So as long as china gets to keeping going for another 30 yrs before it starts to lower its emissions, then why should we. What we should be spending our money on is real pollution ,in the ground and water.
-
CY after what chretein did to the military is very hard to rebuild thru tough times. Yes there has been more cuts, but when needed the military got the equipment that they needed on the ground. You have seem to forgot that chretien sent our troops to afghanistan with shitty little jeeps in the wrong clothing in rented russian transport planes.(how embarrassing is that) but came home in RCAF C-17s with armoured personal carriers in the back.
