  1. Harper is right about fixing the problem is fixing the countries that these people are coming from. It seems if the mulcair or trudeau were running the country in the 30's , they would bring all the poles and such to canada but would have left hitler alone to do what he wanted to do. What a joke.
  2. Anybody that has ever question our immigration policies is always called racist.
  3. Progressive muslims? A muslim is a muslim and they do what they are told to do. Their religion come 1st before anything else. Why are they coming here, because they have ruined every country they have been part of and that what they will do to the rest of the world. But it will be to late when this country figures that out. But england and germany will be first to realize the mistake that has been made.
  4. TORONTO -- A senior aide to New Democrat Leader Tom Mulcair apologized Tuesday after past tweets surfaced in which he took aim at the Roman Catholic church. The two-year-old tweets by Shawn Dearn, hired in February as Mulcair's director of communications, were also directed at the Pope. "Memo to CBC and all media," one of them reads. "Stop calling the misogynist, homophobic, child-molesting Catholic church a 'moral authority.' It's not." So I wonder how the catholics will take to this. And why would mulcair keep him? http://www.ottawasun.com/2015/09/08/mulcairs-communications-director-apologizes-for-past-anti-catholic-tweets
  5. I missed trudeau's I wonder how much editing they had to do. LOL
  6. If I remember correctly it was chretien government that started to bring in more africans then Europeans, French speaking Africans at that.
  7. Rumblings coming from the far left on mulcairs turn to the right. What is the NDP position on the military?
  8. Reported to day on the radio ,it seems most of the migrants are young able bodies men. They are not refugees, but illegals.
  9. He does not want to call barbaric practices , barbaric ,he does not want to bomb the most evil of the bunch and he has secret meetings with them, I wonder what he has promised them. Sharia law here we come?
  10. And the NDP lie and steal.
  11. Sow what about that NDP MP that made the governmnet look bad in the worlds eye for saying that he personally delivered a letter to bring in that boy, and it turned out he lied thru his teeth. That right there is a firing offence.
  12. So spanky you would prefer to try and embarrass harper instead. That is not a good interview.
  13. We have a dam system already in place, lets use it.
  14. And the poor kid that was in the pic, that has brought this on. It seems they were quite safe in turkey. They should have stayed instead of doing something as dangerous as they did. And again it is a global problem not a Canadian problem. Should we do something to help, sure, but not bringing everyone here. And where will they end up in TO? 150,000 new people very yr to that city, this can't be kept up.
  15. And who cares CY? The only reason it is brought up is to attack harper. It is not a Canadian problem. You just cant keep bringing everyone to Canada . Now trudeau wants to bring in 25gs right away. Can you see the problem with that?
  16. Now he wants to bring in 25,000 Syrians into the county at once. And now it seems his spending promises are now more then the NDP and conservatives combined.
  17. Why does NATO have anything to do with the ME. Maybe if the UN would grow a back bone again, we could deal with these problem early on.
  18. People really need to take a deep breath and think what they are doing. Make decisions yourself not what the media is telling you. Harper has done a great job over the yrs . Not perfect but that will never happen, with any PM.
  19. Trudeau nows say we need to bring in 30,000 people from Syria TODAY, not over time but now. Does he not realize how stupid that would be?
  20. Media in grip of pre-election Harper Derangement Frenzy, but Canada still tops global rankings in growth, reputation Maybe you missed the news last week, which is that Canada under Stephen Harper’s Conservative government has just regained its title as the most reputable nation in the world. According to the Reputation Institute’s annual report, Canada remains at the top of a 55-nation list for perceived trust, admiration and respect, based on a survey of 48,000 people around the world. Easy to miss, that story, since few media picked it up. Instead, the Canadian media complex is in the grip of Harper Derangement Frenzy (HDF), which is an upgrade to hurricane status from Harper Derangement Syndrome, identified several years ago by Lorne Gunter as “an ideological hatred of Prime Minister Stephen Harper that is so acute its sufferers’ ability to reason logically is impaired.” The upgraded HDF extends the definition to incorporate the media hell-bent on a pre-election campaign to bring down the Harper government regardless of any facts. HDF has been in evidence for some time, but as the election approaches the media are emerging as the Harper government’s biggest political opponent, bigger than the New Democratic or Liberal parties. The Media Party’s distorted handling of recent dribbles of economic data related to recession and deficits sets new records for overblown news creationism. http://business.financialpost.com/fp-comment/canada-regains-title-of-most-reputable-nation-despite-harper-derangement-frenzyI hope some people here will realize how foolish you are making yourselves and the country with the way you all act. It is embarrassing.
  21. And the leftwing NDP'ers are upset. This could back fire big time on mulcair.
  22. So trudeau announces a 20 yr ,20 billion dollar green energy plan, right out of dalton's playbook. And we all in ONT know how that worked out.
  23. If this is a resection I will take that any day. I cant get over how some people keep acting like the country is in major trouble. Mind you it would be if harper was not at the helm.
  24. Politicians can describe Canada’s modest economic decline in the first half of 2015 any way they want — recession, technical recession, mild economic downturn. But one thing it isn’t, or shouldn’t be, is an excuse for government to plunge taxpayers back into deficit. Statistics Canada released its second quarter GDP numbers for Canada Tuesday. As expected, the national economy declined a little. It declined somewhat for two straight quarters (January to June), in fact, which economists say is technically a recession. But the number crunchers can’t really agree on what to call it exactly, mostly because the latest economic downturn is unlike any they’ve seen in recent years. During the 2008-09 recession, Canada saw widespread economic decline. Unemployment jumped 2.5%, exports plummeted and household spending dipped. People were losing their jobs. It was a deep recession, ergo the qualifier “Great” Recession. It was part of a major global financial meltdown, including in the United States — Canada’s largest trading partner — and it cried out for government intervention. Not this one. Canada’s unemployment rate has been stable at 6.8% for the past six months (we’ll get an August update Friday). Employment was up 0.9% in July compared to the same month in 2014. Consumer spending has been robust. Even exports were up slightly in the second quarter of this year with a razor-thin growth of 0.1%. If this is recession, I’ll take it any day. http://www.ottawasun.com/2015/09/01/palmolive-recession-no-excuse-to-rack-up-deficit Great article that explains what really went on with this so called recession.
