I was referring to his top level persons who are resigning. There are many American who are considering leaving the USA; I would prefer that they stay and fight to return their country to credibility and trust worthiness. The USA needs to return to a country that abides by international laws. One that respects the Geneva Conventions. The torture approval came from the white house; even looking into out sourcing torture to skirt the laws. Keeping prisoners in Cuba to avoid direct failure to obey USA or international laws. Prosecuting some young soldiers to take the heat for this torture is BS and using them as scapegoats.

If we are to "ban" ads from McDonalds; we would have to ban ads from coke and pepsi; too much of these soft drinks certainly is not healthy. Too much of any one type of food is unhealthy. People have to take responsibility for their own choices. Easy to try to blame McDonalds when it is our own lack of control which is too blame. I would bet there are many people who are obese or chubby from a lack of strength to push themselves away from the dinner table or consuming too many desserts. Parents treating their children to too many chocolate bars. I am not a fan of McDonald's burgers and very seldom eat them but some of their new sandwiches look very good ; they do have pretty good coffee which recently is gettting difficult to find downtown. Eat right and exercise even if it means just going for a walk. Take responsibility for your own choices. (ps. despite the name; I am not fat)

Who falls for more scams to prevent or reverse baldness; it is a booming industry. I see lots of these older men giving themselves bad hair dye jobs in the quest to look younger, And if the spam I am constantly recieving on my computer indicates anything men want larger apparatus and are willing to spend the money for it. It seems to be quickly replacing the ads for bigger boobs for women. Every age and gender have their insecure individuals that always seek to change themselves and buy into these scams.

I was only joking but I know several people who have visited there recently and all have had a wonderful time. I would only go for it if the Americans got out of quatanama bay.

It is their parent's responsibility to feed them properly not Macdonalds. When will people take resposibility for their own actions. If kids are fat it is because they sit around and play computer games and watch tv; if they are eating too much McDonalds then they have irresponsible parents who are too lazy to feed their kids properly.

Teenager's do most of their own decisions on buying and a parent's guidance usually results in the opposite effect. They need to show independence so naturally advertisers and their peers have more clout. Why do you think they all like to wear clothes with the designers name printed on. You are right fleabag. ?The first news report said the boy was probably sleeping (thought that was strange) but as usual; they rush to get a story out and get the facts wrong. She has had her other kids taken from her and has admitted that this child was taken by authorities for neglect before and returned. It's a shame that they returned the poor child.

It was money from the USA that allowed them to arm themselves. It was America's unending vetoes that allowed Israel to commit its atrocities and human rights abuses without taking responsibility.

There is the same corruptions here; in BC we even had a raid on the legislature; drug dealing was found and influence peddling by ministerial aides; Two top ministers; one a relative of the charged and the other being the one who hired at least one of these characters. There are all sorts of shenanigans that go on and will until people learn to get involved and make sure everything is disclosed. That is why I sometimes think a benevolent dictatorship would be economically better. Many people seem to believe that democracy only is in force once every 4 years or so on voting day. They diss politicians when they adjust their actions to meet the approval of the people.

Whomever suggested a concert in Calgary???? It is not a large Asian destination that suffered tourism losses due to SARS. Actually most people thought that concert was a joke and very strange way for a government to deal with a health concern that cost tourism profits. I did not even suggest a concert should have been held in Vancouver.

Of course our atmosphere and world is suffering many different types of problems caused by man. Could you drive through LA and deny pollution. Even our Fraser Valley has problems with pollution of the air and water. The oceans are being polluted; fish are being over fished. Most of the problems are caused by big companies with poor manufacturing techniques that ooze out pollution . Warring governments from countries that test and use nuclear weapons or with uranium depleted or not are another large source. No one can deny the holes in the ozone layer are getting larger. I think there is a large iceberg in Antarctica that has broke off and that is causing problems.
