And Cuba has a very low aids population and good medical. The people are quite happy and I have friends that visit there several times a year because the people are so friendly and happy. The article did mention gummy bears but any product that uses the modified fat, I believe. There has been no cases cited but yes, at least at the time when BSE was first found in Canada; these rendering plants did render questionable parts of the animal for these products. A single unimportant purpchase is much different than the knowing large scale sales of equipment that could be used for evil /war purposes by aggressive "rogue" type governments is much different that the sale or purchase of a single item. Don't speak for me or other Vancouverites. While I do not like the extreme right wing Liberals (Conservatives in every way but name) we do not want to break the bank under the LEFT wing NDP as before. Anyone with half a brain would know you don't go around the city with a long hunting knife nor try to enter a government buidling wearing one. We do allow the wearing of long knives for religious reasons but I believe that should be changed. What does the wearing of a knife have to do with religion? if it is symbolic of something the blades should be unusable.

The environment is not a Provincial matter. Your dirty air and practices do not stay within your province. Why should the rest of Canada and/or the world suffer for your money hungry irresponsibility towards an environment that extend to outside your jurisdiction.

As long as it is a union between two consenting ADULTS it is naturaral and normal. Denial of their acceptance will not make them go away. Many homosexuals were drawn to the prisesthood and nunnery in attempts to hide and probably control their instincts. It backfired when these people could not control their instincts and abused children in their care. Heterosexual sex was treated this way in the past; children and young adults did not even know the proper names for their private parts and we never talked about pregnancy or sex. Pregnant women were not allowed to work. We wore large billowy clothing to hide our big bellies. Do we want to remain ignorant and deny the truth that such relationships do exist? Personally, I would prefer naming the union of homosexuals with a slightly different name to distinguish the two, As their sexual practices do not extend to procreation; I would not want to see them have the same rights to adoption of babies as heterosexuals. Nature creates such abnomalies for a reason; they are created without the desire for procreational sex; perhaps for a reason. Let's open the door slowly and see how things develop.

Well buddy; a rink in your neighbourhood is not the way I want my taxpayers dollars spent. That should be done by a private for profit company. Leave tax money for more important universal needs such as roads, schools, and healthcare.
