  1. WorldNetDaily: Moore's Distributor OK with terrorist support Why is Hizbollah so eager to help Michael Moore? Hmmm.
  2. He has the same relationship to the left as morons like O'Liely and Limbaugh have to the right. Basically, the vast majority of both sides regard these characters as simple entertainers or fools. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh had seats of honor beside a former Republican president at the Republican National Convention?! I guess I missed that.
  3. Frankly, I find his capacity for twisting the facts to fit his world view and the fact that there is a entire world of right wing pundits who seem to share those views quite informative in terrifying sort of way. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why do I get the feeling that some people on this site are CBC operatives?
  4. I suspect that the administrator is tired of being deluged by your whining emails demanding that everyone who proves you wrong be banned from the forum. Perhaps you would be more at home at the Democratic Underground, where the word "why" can get you banned?
  5. WaPo: Traitorous Democrats continue to be out of touch with the American public Probably mostly neocons surveyed. Don't these Yanks know that it is ILLEGAL to enforce broken ceasefires and numerous broken UN resolutions? Don't they know it is IMMORAL to overthrow massmurdering dictators and give tens of millions of people a chance at freedom and democracy? Americans. They're so dumb.
  6. Black Dog: Once again, the left is blinded by ideology. How hypocritical that they whine about this vote when the contemptible Harry Reid pulled that outlandish stunt of locking the press out of Congress for secretive "talks" about the "lies" that Bush told the poor poor Democrats who were so easily tricked by that dumb chimp Bush. The Republicans, rightfully, got fed up with the childish games of the Dems and called their bluff. No wonder that the Dems in Congress have a 25% approval rating. Thankfully the grownups are in charge.
  7. Michael Moore also has terrorist group Hizbollah distrubting Fahrenheit 9-11 in the Mid East. Rope.Tree.Michael Moore.
  8. Buried at the bottom of a CTV.ca article: Why Monty Burns detests big Govt $17 million divided by 593 claims, equals $28,668/claim. $66 million on "government lawyers, staff salaries, research fees and other administrative costs" divided by 593 claims equals $111,300/claim. I don't know the extent of the govt's expenses, but shouldn't this $17 million versus $66 million be switched around? Reperations were only 20% of the bill; 80% went to expenses...it seems reasonable to expect this to be reversed, i.e., 80% to reperations and 20% to expenses. Just another example of why I loathe big govt... I would like to see a leftwinger try and justify this gross mismanagement by the govt!
  9. The Liberal Party-controlled CRTC banned the Fox News Channel for 5 years -despite a high demand for this news channel - (and it would still likely be banned if not for the outrage directed at the CRTC for approving Jihad-TV, aka Al Jazeera, 5 months before they, reluctantly, lifted their 5 year ban off the FNC). Now they want to ban Fifty Cent. Just another sad attempt by the Liberals to pretend they are tough on crime. *Psst* Fifty Cent is American. America. Guns. You get the (liberal) picture... The Liberal Party didn't want the Fox News Channel in Canada, but they had no problems purposedly inviting exotic dancers and prostitutes from Eastern Europe into Canada.
  10. Dear Mr. Klein, Will you please STFU?!
  11. ABC News: Bush Administration deals death blow to North Korea reactor project Compare: The Bush administration dealt a death blow to NK building nuclear reactors. Clinton gave NK a nuclear reactor (at least ChIraq charged Saddam for the Osirak nuclear reactor). Once again we see proof that thugs only respect power, and conversely appeasement is a failure for foreign policy. I can't wait to see the Clinton butt-sniffers try and justify Dear Leader's appeasement to democracy's enemies.
  12. Wall Street Journal poll: Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld (but not Condi Rice) numbers are low--but Democrat approval ratings are even lower Yeah, I know it is only a poll, but the Democrat numbers (25% approval rating) make sense. Let's face it. The Democrats (except for Joe Lieberman) offer no alternative, they just whine, lie, and do everything they can to undermine the war effort.
  13. Black Dog: It's still wrong, but I do not think it is as important when someone no one has heard of perjures himself versus the President perjuring himself - on TV - to the population of the USA.. Do you think Libby (allegedly) lying to impede the investiagation is as important as Clinton going on TV and perjuring himself to the American people?
  14. Bob Woodward at the WaPo: I knew about Valerie Plame a month before Robert Novak's column
  15. Times UK (Business) The top rate is 45% (and kicks in at about $110,000 CDN, Canada's kicks in at $155,739). Add on Canada's provincial rates and most high-income Canadians would be paying about 60% on the top rate. And 3 points added to the Value Added Tax--that's huge. And then there is this: 1) Have the Germans gone "soft"? Is that why they turn over so much of their income for vast generous social welfare programs, which are implemented by a vast inefficient bureaucracy? 2) Should Canada - economic wise - lean towards the socialist policies of Germany/Western Europe or lean towards the capitalism style of the USA? Btw, Angela Merkel turned out to be a big disappointment. If she is what passes for "rightwing" in Europe, then I fear for Europe's future. Europe needs another Margaret Thatcher.
  16. I was not targeting the people, I was targeting the equi..... um ok I was targetting the people. I have seen this before. Poor information. Lies. Bad intelligence. Anything else? OH YES, along with the string of lies this past couple weeks: CIA secret detention centers in Europe, and secret CIA flights around the globe. More Iraq prisoner abuse scandals. Who are the terrorists again? Lies, upon lies burried in a steaming pile of poo. Anything else to declare? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you could only direct one-tenth of your Rage Against America towards the head-chopping Jihadists... "Who are the terrorists again?" There are Canadians fighting American terrorists in Iraq right now. I'm sure these Canadians could use some extra help.
  17. Black Dog: Uruknet.info - a pro-Saddam Hussein website. Just confirms where the far-left's sympathies lie...
  18. Eastern women are generally more "traditional" than Western women. Some guys like that. The male can find an attractive bride a decade than himself. For the women, I suspect their motives are probably security/financial as much as love.
  19. I don't believe that Holy War has ever been at the top of the USA's political agenda.
  20. (SORRY POST GOT CUT OFF) ...there in the name of Iraq or whatever... Yet, if you support Bush spending money like that, then you must not be in favour of tax cuts, etc. BECAUSE SOONER OF LATER AMERICANS WILL NEED TO PAY DOWN THE DEBT, right? There seems to be great contradiction of "having cake and eating it too..." here, right??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think it is more of a case of Bush expanding domestic spending. It's not a conservative principle. The economy is doing well; the US took in $70 billion more tax revenues than they expected, but until Bush quits spending domestically like a Democrat, plus the cost of the war (although it want't cheap having them sit in the ME for 12 years straight "guarding" Saddam's Iraq), it will be difficult to reduce the debt. Bush signed that expensive Highway Bill, spent millions building a bridge in Alaska to link a few dozen people, bought New Orleans displaced new mobile homes, instead of a rent voucher for a few months free rent. Compassionate Conservatism. Pfft. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am glad you see my point. Bush may call himself a conservative, but he doesn't behave like one. A true conservative calls for lower taxes and balanced budgets, criticizing their liberal opponents as being those who "tax and spend," putting the nation in debt and hurting the confidence of investors, who are usually not very liberal. Yet, Bush seems to be worse than a tax and spend liberal. At least liberals TAX, then SPEND. Bush is doing too much of the latter without enough of the former...something will have to give. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Republicans finally tried to get serious about cutting spending (I think they realized how angry their base was over the Harriet Miers debacle), but now some idiot RINO Republicans are complaining about the spending cuts. If they would quit spending so much domestically, the costs of the war wouldn't be so bad. After all, it wasn't cheap keeping 100,000 soldiers at Iraq's border for a dozen years. And one can accept some debt. Look at how many decades Canada has been in debt. If the Republicans don't start acting like a majority party, they might lose some seats in the 2006 mid-term election. You have to motivate your base. If you don't, they will either: 1) be lazy/unmotivated to bother and stand in line to vote, or 2) Protest non-vote..."I won't ever vote Democrat, but I'm not going to give my vote to the Republicans either".
  21. No one knows if these people are terrorists, soldiers, or completely uninvolved in the whole affair. They are accused of being terrorists, but there is no evidence offered and no charges filed against them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can't find anything about this on the internet. All I can find is complaints about Gitmo.
  22. I read that they are drilling on 200 acres of the 19.6 million acre reserve. It's a minute amount of land. The US should drill at ANWR and reduce their dependence on Mid East oil. It would also create jobs. However, some idiot RINO Republicans are now trying to stop it. When will they starting acting like a majority party?
  23. These terrorists are not covered by the Geneva Convention. This is a typical emotion-ridden "progressive liberal" nonstory. There are Islamic fanatics out there and yet some are wringing their hands over "the rights" of these fanatics. Next, they'll be complaining that the terrorists aren't being served enough Duck a la Orange at "Gulag" Gitmo.
  24. Captured, killed, public torture and execution...it's up to you Montgomery... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Preferably #2. I don't think these terrorists can become productive members of society.
  25. TLFB, You are the one who spewed the bullshit - by claiming that it was Barzan Ibrahim Hassan al-Tikriti. Now you accuse FPM's managing editor of making up a bogus interview with a bogus person. Do you have any proof? Are Larry Elder's (from TV's Larry Elder Show) FPM articles bogus too? How about Dick Morris from the Clinton administration? Are his FPM articles bogus? And I am quite aware that you have been trying to get me off this forum. Fortunately, your attempts have been recognized as partisanship. I find it telling that it is almost always leftwingers who try to get opposing viewpoints banned. Rarely does a rightwinger go whining to the moderator/administrator...
