It's safe to assume that in order to be involved in the NYC real estate business, one must have very deep pockets and is also likely to be very prominent in the public eye. Surely there must have been countless times when other real estate giants did what Trump did? Those names would certainly have been front and center in newspapers and television media would they not? Of all the learned talking heads that I've heard, they say the same thing, namely that Trump alone has been singled out.
