Harris refuses to help flood victims
ironstone replied to West's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Here is some more truth from an MSNBC producer, one Basel Hamden. https://thefederalist.com/2024/10/04/msnbc-producer-network-is-indistinguishable-from-democrat-party-makes-viewers-dumber/ Hamden talks at length about MSNBC as less of a news operation and more of a hype machine for the national Democrat agenda, with amplifying party messaging as its sole purpose. When asked about the ways MSNBC has been able to “help” Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign, Hamden says, “They’re doing all they can,” adding, “What her message of the day is, is their message of the day.” He says MSNBC’s reporters and anchors are “often saying the same exact things” as Democrat Party leaders. “This news network is indistinguishable from the party,” he says. When Hamden’s undercover interlocutor calls that “bad journalism,” he replies, “They’ve made their viewers dumber over the years.” -

That was hilarious. Her expression changed to the proverbial deer in the headlights look. -
Catch and release. And then there are countless 'gotaways'. Even you should be aware of the recent statistics showing how many criminals are entering the US. How is it beneficial to have so many more criminals in the US? https://www.nbcnews.com/investigations/13000-immigrants-convicted-homicide-living-freely-us-ice-data-rcna173125 The above link is from NBC so you can't respond with your usual FOS LIES.

Robosmith said that it's a 62% raise. Even with record 40 year highs in inflation, doesn't that number seem overly generous even if it's government that is paying? You have that California mindset. They raised the fast food minimum wage to $20 per hour and the end result is job losses because it's not sustainable. https://www.hoover.org/research/california-loses-nearly-10000-fast-food-jobs-after-20-minimum-wage-signed-last-fall If people feel they aren't paid well enough they can get another job. Some are underpaid, and some are overpaid. -

I wonder if this extremely generous settlement is going to spur on more strikes. -

It was a question for the leftists in here. But then I remembered that you guys categorically reject anything and everything that contradicts your narratives. -

A good article about Kamala Harris. https://anncoulter.com/2024/09/25/the-real-kamala-harris/ Is there anything in the article that is not factually correct? -
There could have been a solution earlier, and it could have been done without help from the Republicans. The Democrats chose to do nothing when they had the chance. At a time when millions per year were coming over illegally. Biden and Harris...did NOTHING. I'll point out that during that time, illegal immigration was substantially lower than it was compared to Biden/Harris.
-
I'm merely going on what Joe Biden himself said. https://www.yahoo.com/news/biden-says-harris-handled-everything-100052882.html "Be herself. Look, she is smart as hell. Number one, she’s tough. She was a first-rate prosecutor…and as vice president, there wasn’t a single thing that I did that she couldn’t do. And so I was able to delegate [to] her responsibility on everything from foreign policy to domestic policy," he said. Critics were quick to pounce on Biden's admission, with some saying it undermines the argument that Harris' hands were tied as vice president and others calling her complicit in all the administration's failures. So during that period of time when the mainstream media was calling Harris the 'border czar', there was not so much as a peep of protest from her supporters. It was only after her coronation that they had to distance her from that title because she failed miserably at securing the border. The problem of illegal immigration did not start with Kamala Harris, it was also happening under Donald Trump. But it is accurate to point out that illegal immigration got demonstrably worse since she took office. Just as it is accurate to point out that there are more wars happening under Harris/Biden.

It's the same Kamala Harris that has been in office while record numbers of people streamed over the open border. Under the watch of the 'border czar' Kamala Harris. Plus massive amounts of fentanyl killing thousands of Americans under her watch. More foreign wars. Ukraine/Russia. Iran> Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis. Under her watch. 40 year highs in inflation. Under her watch. China flexing it's muscles more aggressively, threatening Taiwan and other nations. Under her watch. I'm not a die-hard Trump supporter, but I do accept that for all his flaws, Americans and the rest of the world was better off when he was president compared to Harris/Biden.

Is that the most substantive takeaway from the debate that you could come up with? No thoughts as to who you think won the evening?
