  1. I'm not dismissing the criteria since I don't know precisely what it is. And it may vary depending on the specific law enforcement agency. Simply put, I have no issues with law enforcement showing photos of criminals, regardless or race. What matters is that they all be brought to face justice. Any concerns that there are too many of a certain race on there are ridiculous.
  2. I would simply point out that all of those on the most wanted list are there because they are wanted in connection with various crimes. You seem to be suggesting a most wanted list is unfair because it happens to show mostly nonwhites and it's only because there is something "systemically wrong with the criteria" and that it should be challenged and changed "so the list becomes more useful". What on earth would make a most wanted list more useful other than showing the actual photos of the most wanted criminals? Prove to me that there is something systemically wrong with most wanted list criteria. You rarely make arguments, you overwhelmingly reply with questions.
  3. You are bothered by a most wanted list because it happens to have mostly non-whites on it. Isn't that in itself kind of racist? If the criteria for most wanted lists is violent offenders are given priority, then so be it. If they are mostly white, I hope they are all tracked down and captured. If the list happens to be mostly visible minorities, I also hope they are all tracked down and captured. If there is any bias on a most wanted list, it's toward criminals. It's that silly mindset of white liberals at play. Pro sports, entertainment, politics. It's all too white! Even math is racist according to you guys. Did you watch the link I posted earlier with Ami Horowitz? If you did, how can you not honestly admit that those white liberals are incredibly condescending towards black people?
  4. I don't know what the criteria is for the most wanted list. Violent crimes, child abductions seemed to be most common on that RCMP list. White collar criminals should also be on that list in my opinion. Perhaps they have been on and off at some point, I don't know. Unfortunately, white collar crime is not considered a serious offense in Canada and those who are caught typically seem to get a slap on the wrist. If a most wanted list helps to catch criminals, then yes, it's very useful. I will admit to having political biases, just as you clearly have yours. I try to more information, and I have questions when various sources have totally opposing conclusions about certain topics. You said,"Of course skin colour shouldn't matter when making the list!" I agree with you 100%. In fact, I think skin colour shouldn't matter in pretty much everything in day to day life. Nobody should be persecuted only because of skin colour, just as nobody should be hired only because of skin colour. It could be argued that the most racist people are white liberals with their condescending attitudes.
  5. I say that people of any colour are capable of being racist. Your side basically only calls out white people for racism. Not all people of any ethnicity are racist. It should go without saying. You guys on the woke side are the ones being hyper-sensitive about skin colour. Back to the topic of most wanted lists. I want those lists up on display for the simple reason that it will help to catch the criminals. Leftists want the lists taken down because they consider them racially insensitive. That makes no sense.
  6. Hate Crime Hoaxes Are More Common Than You Think - WSJ Race baiting is a pretty successful tactic. Look at how everyone swallowed the Smollett hoax without question. As I mentioned before, it's an industrial complex now. You want to talk about most wanted lists and what that has to do with race? Toronto Police Most Wanted List Taken Down After Critics Call It Racially Insensitive – Enclave Post
  7. I would say that any crime perpetrated by a white person against a person of colour has a much higher chance of being labelled a hate crime even if race may have had nothing to do with the actual crime. This is an American example, but consider all the crimes committed against Asians in many major cities. It appears many of those crimes were committed by blacks so the issue of those assaults being considered hate crimes goes away. The left pushes the narrative that only white people are racist. When the woke side continually talks about systemic racism and that all white people are racist, and even the most mundane things in Western society are all racist, it's to be expected that some people will call out that kind of nonsense.
  8. It's hard to digest all of these stats. Murder rates are down and so is crime in general. But hate crimes are up and so is gang violence it seems. Hate crimes seem to have their fair share of hoaxes and may be subjective. Gun and Gang Violence (publicsafety.gc.ca) Here is a more up to date list of the most wanted in Canada. Wanted by the RCMP | Royal Canadian Mounted Police (rcmp-grc.gc.ca) I don't see how a list like this can be considered racist as it simply shows photos of people that are wanted for various crimes. The most wanted list from Toronto showed people that were mainly wanted for homicides. I'm just guessing that most of those crimes were gang related.
  9. There are reports that Hunter was paying exorbitant rent at one of Joe's homes. Paying about 50 thousand per month at a home that he may have owned at one time? Pretty confusing and convoluted. Why Was Hunter Paying Joe Biden $50,000 in Monthly Rent for the House Where Classified Documents Were Found? (westernjournal.com) So Hunter was the owner of a home where classified documents were found? Who visited Hunter there? What a shell game the Biden's are running. C'mon robosmith, tell us how all of this is much ado about nothing.?
  10. The WEF isn't really open. It seems the MSM only cover the event by stating that there is the annual meeting in Davos. There are things they will allow us to see, but there is much that is hidden from the public. Even the heads of media giants meet there but do not answer questions from independent journalists. Check out Chrystia Freeland and how "open" she is. She was not asked a difficult question but refused to talk. To their credit, some people actually did answer questions but other big shots were not so forthcoming.
  11. I'm not sure how to phrase it, but there is a racism industrial complex. Pretty much everything is racist now according to them. Are there any thoughts on the Toronto most wanted link posted above?
  12. Poor and starving? Do you think they would refuse food? 'Tons' of food gets tossed by NYC hotel because migrants won't eat it (nypost.com) Perhaps NYC will now get an idea of what border states have been going through because of the open border policy.
  13. The NHL is going full-on woke like their other major league counterparts. Not worth watching.
  14. According to this piece nothing much has changed at CNN under the new boss. Maybe If CNN Hired A Real Conservative, It Wouldn't Tank So Badly (thefederalist.com) Some of you guys don't seem to get that there is a difference between news anchors and opinion shows. FOX has a lot of opinion shows, as do all of their competitors. The question is, why does FOX dwarf the competition in the ratings?
  15. There is absolutely nothing wrong with skepticism and asking valid questions. There was a lot of misleading and/or false information regarding Covid and a lot of that came from governments all over the world. Many that dared to question official government narratives got raked over the coals. Canada was no exception. I can't help but feel that so much from governments and the MSM should automatically be taken with a grain of salt.
  16. Since Biden took office, has his administration been anywhere close to balancing the budget? Trump added debt, and Biden is also adding a lot of debt. So where does this sudden concern for balancing the budget come from? Those 87000 more IRS agents were meant to go after the average working stiffs. If you will recall, many of them would apparently be armed as well. IRS seeks armed accountants ready for ‘deadly force’ | Washington Examiner
  17. Technically, it's just about stopping the taxpayer funding. There is nothing stopping the CBC from raising their own funds. Except perhaps that most left-wingers are notoriously cheap when it comes to spending their own money.
  18. Can you provide the Tweet or video/audio where he leaves absolutely no doubt that he wants people to engage in violence?
  19. Those "free" charging stations aren't really free though. Somewhere, somehow, that cost is being passed on to the consumers. I personally try to avoid drive-throughs precisely because of the idling issue. Boges said I'm a slave to gas stations. In a sense I might be. But I think it's safe to assume that not every EV owner has fast charging at home. Apartment dwellers are another category altogether. If any EV owner does not have fast charging at home, then they too are slaves to the public charging stations. I want EV's to sell without any taxpayer subsidies too.
  20. The one's that engaged in violence should be charged. Anyone that went there and simply protested in an entirely peaceful manner should not face any kind legal repercussions. Peaceful protest is a right. Rioting is not. Anyone that incited others to engage in illegal activities should be charged. I know you'll respond by bringing up Trump, but he did not incite anyone. You guys seem to have absolutely no problem with Ray Epps. You state-all that entered=traitors. I must point out that Antifa/BLM have also entered federal buildings and caused extensive damage. The political left went out of their way to try and get these guys out on bail ASAP. In a Portland protest, a federal courthouse was barricaded with officers still trapped inside, and then attempted to burn it down. Silence from the political left.
  21. You talked about a criminal movement that tried to overthrow a legal foreign government(from a Canadian perspective). From what I've seen and read about Jan 6, there was nothing of the sort. I wouldn't count on a relative handful of crazy protesters as an actual, credible attempt at overthrowing the US government. The majority of the protesters there on Jan 6 were acting peacefully. Can you say with a straight face, that at no time in history, has the US ever participated in the overthrowing of any legitimate foreign government? The constant repetition of the Jan 6 story by the media has not apparently reached everyone. Perhaps because they don't have as many viewers as they would like?
  22. I don't think it's hyperbole at all. Just honest to goodness questions. And if you have been paying attention to what I write here, I am not suggesting that EV's not be allowed into the market. I merely ask questions about range, charging times, where the energy will come from. What about the battery recycling process since the manufacturers are using different batteries with proprietary technology and perhaps different components? There is no harm in raising concerns and asking questions about something like this. I think EV's are here to stay this time, for better or worse.
  23. Different perspectives. Governments are mandating that car companies HAVE TO sell more EV's. Isn't that effectively working towards a ban on the ICE for passenger vehicles? If the radical Greta Thunberg's of the world get their way, you ain't seen nothin' yet.
  24. No doubt there may be cobalt in some of my devices. I wouldn't say I'm worried about where my oil comes from but I would rather have most or all of it from domestic production instead of places like Saudi Arabia. I use batteries all the time. I have one in my ICE vehicle. It starts my car and I can go about twice as far as the longest range EV at this time. When...or IF they develop an affordable EV with long range and a recharging time measured in minutes(5 mins or less)I just may buy one. I won't seek to ban the sale of EV's as I believe in the freedom to choose. I don't want anyone to ban my ICE vehicle either. I can't and wouldn't virtue signal about my lifestyle and carbon footprint, whatever it might be. Like many others, I have serious concerns about the mad rush to wind and solar with the benefits to the planet being questionable.
  25. Chicago has some pretty strict gun control laws. It hasn't cut the murder rate. In fact, the number of shootings is very high. Chicago shootings: 30 shot, 8 killed in weekend gun violence across city, police say - ABC7 Chicago Another typical weekend in Democrat run Chicago.
