The carbon tax would be the first world tax, once a government starts to generate a revenue it expands. That would truly be world government. They are just working towards centralizing power now, they already control us. The second time I ever did mushrooms I came to the conclusion that all that matters in life is love. We are here to learn to love, that is our evolution. You won't hear a story like that on the news. They keep us trapped in fear and greed. They divide us, make us feel separate and alone, keep us fighting against each other. They attack us subconsciously and the tube is their ultimate weapon. So many peoples truths come from what they see on T.V. The war on terrorism, that is like declaring a war on wars. It can't be won, it is a perpetual war. So it is kind of our fault for listening to them. They manipulate our reality but we give them the reality to manipulate. We need to change our reality.

I'm going to throw a conspiracy theory to you guys and would like for you guys to debunk it. What if politics/governments, religion, the banking, monetary and economic systems were implemented slowly threw time to control us. That what we believe to have happened threw out history was just to distract and keep the population entertained while a small group of people manipulated the world from behind the scenes. I'm kind of saying like the Illuminati but who knows if it's stayed in the hands of one group the whole time or it has passed through different groups. Are we that gullible to believe in lies like that. Well how many religions are out there? They can't all be telling the truth, some of them have to be lying, chances are all of them are. So yes we will believe in big lies. Then you see people like John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, people who start to give the power back to the people, they get assassinated. Then I look at the present, Obama is saying everything is okay with the American economy meanwhile America is on the verge of a currency/credit crisis. Probably before Obama's term is up. So we are being fooled right now by a big lie, so it seems plausible that we've been lied threw out history. I don't believe wars and poverty happen because of our nature, I think they are a result of the system or "matrix" if you will that controls us. I think a long time ago people realized how well the technique divide and conquer, and intimidation and fear worked for controlling population. Manipulating us subconsciously. Am I really out of line here because I am really starting to believe it.

Aren't MP's just suppose to be the administrators of the people, they are suppose to represent their area. With the party system it seems like they represent the party as appose to the people. We should just get rid of elections. We should just choose random people to be a MP and serve a year or so term. If they don't wish to serve they can pass it on to the next person. I think it would get rid of a lot of the corruption, it would get rid of those career politicians that will sell their soul to get elected again. Just throwing the idea out there.

Since technically we the people control the Bank Of Canada, why don't we try not charging interest on the national debt. Why would we want to continuously put ourselves into more and more debt.

I think the US has to add 1.2 million jobs a year just to keep up with population growth. I disagree, we would be better off if their was no stimulus, recessions suck but they happen for a reason. There is an imbalance somewhere, the problem in the States was too much loaning and consumption and not enough saving and producing. Throwing trillions into the market won't solve those imbalances. The world is now running off the stimulus bubble, when it bursts everything will come down. This will be one fucked up decade, like nothing we've ever seen.

I like the optimism but I don't think so. They will not turn on each other, why would they. I hope more people start thinking like you. People, quit only looking at societies smiles, can't you guys see how much pain we are causing each other. This way of life is unjust, unsustainable and it will fall. You guys put your faith into a system that enslaves us. If you personally feel this system is fair, We have a bubble economy right now with interest rates so low. People are encouraged to go out and get loans, the economy is then stimulated with all this new cheap money being spent. Loaning can't last forever, eventually people have to pay back those loans, that is when the bubble bursts. All that spending then that was stimulating the economy then goes away causing a recession. Central banks have the power to create recessions and depressions. The financial crisis isn't over, this is just the beginning. Greece is hurting the global markets already and the real problem isn't in Europe, it's in America. Get your umbrellas, I see a storm coming. This will be a global depression.

I understand what you are saying, but we now have the internet, robots, computers and the knowledge to make almost any sort of machine we want or need. Almost every job that we need right now could be replaced by machines in due time. We could free up our time and finally have time to just be. I am dreaming, I know that, dream is destiny.

No, I don't think we should go back to living in caves. I'm saying we should move forward, evolve society. What we have now doesn't work. Right now we are sitting doing nothing to stop the murder of people just like us, we are fucked in the head. We care more about making money then helping each other. We would use the planets resources to survive, what do we need to survive. Food, water, shelter. We will get these things for everyone, you will no longer will have to work to have food, water or shelter. I'm talking about eliminating free trade all together, no capitalism, no socialism, no economy, just us working together to make the world a better place for all of us. I don't like how we have upper, middle and lower class. We all deserve to have the same opportunities and benefits as each other. The creative mind will never cease to exist, we will always have challenges that will face us in the future. Eliminating copyrights and patents would let information flow freely, everyone would be able to use and expand on that information. In every sector of society from the economy to politics we compete against each other, why? We would be far more prosperous if we all worked together for the greater good of everyone. Right now it seems like we are slaves to the super rich. I want change and not Obama change.

Let's use the planets resources to produce what we need to survive and prosper while at the same time we could take of this planet. Lets rid the world of copyright and patents and let information flow freely. Let's unify for the greater good of everyone. Let's tear down the walls we put into place.

Everyone knows that when you are talking about human nature you automatically exclude the Dutch. There is less pot use in the Netherlands then in any of its neighboring countries. There is no evidence that if pot was legal, use would increase. Honestly, lets say use did go up, I fail to see that as a problem. What is the reason we keep weed illegal, what is the argument for the anti-pot side. Edit: Gangs would lose a lot of revenue. If the government taxes it too high, which they probably will at first and people continue to buy off gangs, then they will have to lower the price. Taking the money out of the hands of the gangs is the only way to get rid of them. If they go legitimate, let them go legitimate. We've had prohibition of drugs for how long? has it stopped use, no, has it stopped gang violence, no. What more do you need to know, continuing to do the same thing won't solve the problem, we need a new approach.

I don't get why the government is allowed to tell me how I can live my life. Anyone else not disturbed just by that fact. Probably not, most people think we need the government to babysit us.
