  1. yes, lets spend more money on war machines, at this rate, global peace is just around the corner...
  2. I don't think a barter based economy is super. I know money evolved from the barter system, I think it is time to evolve passed money. A monetary based economy creates too many social and environmental problems.
  3. well I'm leaving Tuesday to go to Toronto for the G20. I am kind of curious to see what 1 billion dollars of security gets you. I think the 'G-GANG' is manipulating us, using our emotions against us for their personal gain. Politics is just like pro wrestling...We are innocent, we are too trusting.
  4. Can you guys do me a favour... Let's just say the American dollar collapses and the world economy collapses and millions suffer as a result, can you please just start to question the necessity of a monetary based economy. What is your point. I don't like Canada as much as I don't like America, don't take it personal if I attack America...it won't make you less patriotic. No it doesn't. They would have to either cut spending or raise taxes to make the debt smaller.
  5. America is broke, they will have a projected 1.8 trillion dollar deficit this year. Obama is just spending more with the health care bill and making the situation worse. I really wouldn't want to be Obama, he will have a lot of people hating him soon. Obama and the Fed have done a lot of damage, I think enough to start a Second American Revolution. Well they will feel stupid when the dollars they get payed back in is worth a lot less then the dollars they paid into with. I like the rambling, keep it up.
  6. Define good, wise and lawful. They seem pretty heartless, ignorant and unjust to me. There is no such thing as a good or bad person, there is just people. People are products of the conditioning they have received throughout there life. It does not matter if we get rid of all the 'bad' or corrupt people in charge, someone will just replace them in time. Corruption is a symptom of the monetary system. We are all products of our environment, until we change our environment, we can't expect anything to change. Wars will continue to wage and poverty will go unsolved.
  7. Agreed, on a positive note, I see lights in the distance, they are not far away. Their system of power and privileges will come to an end.
  8. All of life's problems are not religious nor political, they are technical. The free trade/monetary based economy was developed a long time ago based on the assumption that resources are scarce. We compete for jobs and market share in order to pull money out of the system in order for us to buy the necessities of life. You having a job steals a job from someone else, in this monetary based economy groups of people are always left with the short end of the stick. Truth is the essentials we need to live are not scarce, water, food, air, homes, we have the knowledge, technology and recourses to create abundance for all of the people of the earth. In a monetary based system we will never be able to create abundance for abundance is not profitable and scarcity is profitable. If you take all the wealth, dollars, gold, diamonds and silver with you on an island deserted island you, what would you really have, those would not help you survive. Those are false wealths, resources, technology and people are wealth. We need to start asking the question 'do we have the resources' as appose to 'do we have the money'. In a monetary based economy, corruption is only a matter of time. We need to start applying the scientific method to politics as appose to going off peoples opinions.
  9. Only health, only trade, those aren't small things. The WHO and WTO are gaining more and more power with their "regulations". I don't like the consolidation of power. Thanks, I'm just saying that that 'they' are working towards integrating North America into one community or state if you will. I'll agree with the 'almost' part but I doubt we've heard the last of the carbon tax. Chances are we will be in on it too. It doesn't matter who they appoint, the practice of the fractional reserve system is the corruption. Maybe on the surface. I have a different view. Slavery is but the owning of labor. How do you own labor, you would have to somehow control the economy. How do you control the economy, the economy runs off money. Having a monopoly over money is a great way to control the economy. I'm pretty sure America knew the threat of banks when it fought the first American revolutionary war. I understand why they put interest rates so low but all that does is create a bubble in the economy. The fed may be helping the economy short term but they are destroying the economy in the long term. This cheap money can't last forever, once people come to the realization that everyone is broke, they will have to raise interest rates to discourage borrowing, then all that artificial spending that went into the economy from having low interests rates goes away. Crash. The economy is only running off stimulus and low interest rates, that isn't the real economy. It will come crashing down. Keynsian economics is very flawed. Austrian economics is far superior. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFstmclOQG8 I can garentee it won't work. They will have trouble handling in the near future. The US owes 12 trillion right now and growing. What happens when the fed raises interest rates because they realize everyone is broke. Say they raise it to 10%, that is 1 trillion dollars they would have to pay for just the interest on the debt they owe. Where will they get that money from. Who will buy the bonds to pay for America's deficit, the world is broke. They can try raising taxes but that can only go so far before the people revolt. They don't have the equity, can they not print money out of thin air. Mussolini said fascism is the merger of corporate and political interests, that is America... at least in my eyes. Elections are a farce now. How does Joe the plummer compete with that. Corporations choose who is elected way before the public does. I'll agree with you somewhat, I still think financial backing has far more importance then just some importance. Not to mention the mainstream media only covers the 2 parties. Countries go into debt as soon as the central bank loans the government money in order for money to come into existence. Money that is printed by the Fed. Money is created out of debt. Ya they do.
  10. and our eyes closed.
  11. You got it. Our environment and our experiences determine our behavior. What about the ones who don't survive or spend their lives struggling to survive. Thanks, I know what options I have. Progress towards what? No we haven't, we are still the same. We do not learn from our mistakes. Money is not the driving factor for advances in technology. Solving problems is what drives us to advance our technology. And the global economy will come crashing down soon.
  12. There is no such thing as human nature, it is human behavior which is ever changing. We live in a world where over 20,000 children die a day not because there is a lack of food, because they lack purchasing power. That isn't a good enough reason for them to die to me. There are the slight luckier ones who get to slave away their childhood making clothes for us to buy. How do you guys not see the corruption and deceit that a monetary based economy breeds. It may have been useful in the passed, now it is counterproductive and destructive. When the economy collapses, which it will, you will see how stupid it is to have a monetary based economy. A lot of suffering will come for no good reason.
  13. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3932487043163636261# Maybe you this will explain it all better.
  14. The idea is to use all our resources, physical equipment, knowledge to benefit the total population. What an economist has to think about it is just one persons opinion.
  15. Actually it does talk about inventive in the movie. Here, from the website
  16. I think it would be easier to watch this just to get an idea of what it is.
  17. Maybe not immune, but we wouldn't have to live with war, poverty, theft, recession/depressions if we switched to a Resource Based Economy. The current economic system is outdated. In a Resource Based Economy, there would be no need for corruption because there is nothing to gain from being corrupt.
  18. "Terrorists" may attack us because we are part of NATO but that is it.
  19. Corruption will continue in politics and the rest of the world as long as we continue to live with a money based economy. That is the root of all our problems.
  20. I hear they will be talking big about the economy.
  21. Micheal Hardner, try and watch this movie, you don't even have to physically watch it, you can listen to it in the background while posting. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3932487043163636261# its an 1 1/2 hours long, just try like 5-10 minutes.
  22. There is no such thing as human nature. It is a myth.
  23. They are conspiring together to achieve there goal of world government and they are getting them. WTO, WHO, UN, EU, there has been money spent on plans for building a NAFTA super highway from mexico to Canada. They want a world government and they are getting it. There was almost the first world tax in Copenhagen. The chair is appointed by the government, sweet the front man is appointed by the government, you think Ben Bernake makes the decisions. Controlling interest rates and the money supply is a big thing when your talking about the economy. Right now the Fed is purposely destroying the U.S. economy by having interest rates this low, it is just another bubble in the economy, artificial spending encouraged by cheap money. Along with the stimulus bubble, the U.S. is just one big bubble economy waiting to burst. Not to mention the Federal government is running a 1.5 trillion dollar and growing deficit that they will never be able to afford. The only way they will be able to continue operating at this size is by getting the Federal Reserve to buy bonds and that would inflate the currency. Timothy Geithner is the former President of Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Wall Street Hijacked Washington. There is fascism in America. You can't have a democracy when the only way you can win is by having millions of dollars. In a true democracy everyone should be given a fair chance at winning. Plutony - Economic growth that is powered and consumed by the wealthiest upper class of society. Plutonomy refers to a society where the majority of the wealth is controlled by an ever-shrinking minority; as such, the economic growth of that society becomes dependent on the fortunes of that same wealthy minority. That is what society has become in america, the Too Big Too Fails... I'm talking country. Where does money come from. The central Bank must buy bonds from the government in order for money to come into existence. The central bank gets the money to buy bonds from thin air. They also charge interest on that loan they gave the government. Where does the money to pay off the interest come from, it doesn't exist. There is more debt in existence then there is money. It is impossible for the world to be debt free. We then spend millions of dollars annually paying off the debt to these central banks that created the money out of thin air in the first place. So why did we stop here. And I bet, when the US dollar collapse, which it will, they will either push us towards an Amero or some sort of world currency, never let a tragedy go to waste.
  24. Maybe they just wanna test crowd control methods...
