  1. Some mainstream news network. Nor do i think it is a panacea for crime, but its a start. No, and gangs would still exist, just the scale of them would be a lot smaller. I never said they wouldn't. Loan sharking is legal, do you see some of the rates MasterCard and Visa charge. I do think prostitution should be legal, not child prostitution though. If women wanna have sex for money, let them. I guess men too. I am very liberal as a person, I don't support the Liberals but I think people should have the right to live their lives the way they wish.
  2. I don't think it is more complicated then what I said. The left side of our brain sees us as separate from each other and is responsible for logic rules and structure, sounds very atheist to me. The right side sees us all as one and is responsible for hope, faith, and love, sounds very religious to me. There is a god, it just isn't a man with a beard. God is the universe You looking at your computer screen is god looking at itself trough your eyes. You and everyone/thing is god. We are all made up of atoms, we are all beings of pure energy. God is this energy. God really does see everything we do, we are god. God is the right side of our brains, Science is the left. We must embrace our dualistic nature.
  3. You should live next to me, I am a very quiet and peaceful person. It's not the pot that makes them swear, it's the person themselves. I look at it from a different angle, i see it as society is failing them. 70% of the Mexican drug cartels income comes from pot alone. If they lost that stream of revenue, they would hurt bad. They would have to down size. When they legalized alcohol in the states again, much of the crime associated with bootlegging alcohol dissipated. Same would happen with pot and all drugs. If gangs can't make money they won't exist. Too say that eliminating millions if not billions of dollars from gangs pockets wouldn't reduce crime is silly. Gangs only exist because we give a untaxed billion dollar underground market to thrive in.
  4. religion is the right side of our brain trying to make sense of life. I don't believe religion or atheism are correct.
  5. The problems with atheist is they are only using the left side of the brain to try and make sense of life. They need to use both the left and right side of their brains equally.
  6. I believe gangs would be much smaller if we stopped creating a billion dollar market to fund their operations. I believe the streets would be safer with less gangs. I can't speak for every gang member or possibly know what he would do if drugs were legalized, that is his or her choice to make.
  7. Thank god your not a dictator. God dammit guys, this is life and you're all losing life's wonder. There is no right or wrong way to live life. Life is yours and it should be lived how you wish. Nobody, not even the government should be telling you what you can or can't do with your life or body. We live in a fucked up society that tries to mold everyone into thinking the same.
  8. They are people like me or you. They don't sell drugs just to prove a point by breaking the law, they sell drugs because there is a really big market for them. We want our drugs, people may find it morally wrong so don't do them, let the ones who want to do them do them.
  9. Let's legalize all drugs. Gangs make most of their money off selling drugs, if people are buying drugs legally then gangs would shrink in size for they would lose a lot of funding. Gangs aren't GM, they can't just go to the government and ask for a bailout to continue operations.
  10. No, I don't You guys are making it sound like him making a comment in 96 is relevant to today and current events, its not. I'm not saying history is irrelevant I'm just saying he isn't a racist. He has nothing against black people. Ron Paul believes in equal rights as apposed to civil rights. The next president won't be republican a democrat. Or at least their will be a 3rd party that will be a legitimate threat.
  11. He doesn't hate black people. He isn't a member of the KKK. He isn't a white supremacist. 1996 isn't 2010. I don't care what he said back then, he doesn't go around preaching black people are the reason the world is falling apart of anything like that. I never even hear him mention race.
  12. I wasn't impressed with 420 in winnipeg. Sure like 2 thousand people showed up but the protest had no soul. Everyone was there just to get high and not to get it legalized.
  13. that's the problem, you only tried it once. lol, I'm not encouraging you to go do it more or anything... When people argue the health reason, it is a choice between love and fear. Not to mention alcohol kills more then all the illegal drugs combined. When it comes to drugs all you can do is educate people on the dangers of drugs. If they understand the dangers and still wish to use them, let them use them. I work out at home... Have I ever been a little high and drove, yes. I haven't gotten a speeding ticket let alone in accident. Pot doesn't make me delusional or lose control of myself, it just relaxes me. It also make me question authority, maybe that is why the government doesn't want it legalized.
  14. He didn't say he hates black people. He has nothing against black people. Jesse Ventura has a TV show called Conspiracy Theories. He is currently filming the second season, the show is only suppose to do current conspiracies but the network allowed them to go after the J.F.K case for this season. Jesse Ventura said he is one document away from proving that Oswald didn't act alone and it was a conspiracy. So he says. I know people may be turned off with a name like Conspiracy Theories but I think it is better investigative reporting then any mainstream media network. Should really watch it, may change your view on the world. Say you make a table and you sell it for $50, you are generating wealth for you and your economy. You can then go buy stuff that you need or wish to have. Most of this stuff is made over seas. Say you don't make that table, where would you get the money to buy stuff you need, most likely you will get a loan in order to get money to buy that stuff. This is all hypothetical by the way. You would eventually have to pay that loan back but if your not making tables you aren't generating any wealth. People will stop loaning to you and you will eventually go bankrupt. That is what America is doing, they don't have any manufacturing jobs so they aren't producing wealth, they need to manufacture some goods to sell to create wealth. Right now they rely 70% on consumer spending. Where are they getting the money to buy stuff from china if they aren't making and selling tables to make money. They are borrowing it. They are gonna have to pay it back eventually, the problem is they are broke, they can't afford to pay it back. An increase in consumer spending doesn't mean the economy is getting better, that just mean people are borrowing more to buy stuff they can't afford. The stimulus isn't creating manufacturing jobs and the ones that it is will be gone when the stimulus is gone. That is why the recession happened, there needs to be a correction. America needs to start producing stuff so it can create wealth again. America is living on a bubble economy, the stock market is artificially being propped up by bailouts and stimulus. When the stimulus goes away reality will kick in and people will realize America/americans are broke. And it isn't even just America living with a bubble economy, nations world wide have pumped money into the system. The recession isn't over.
  15. What makes you think pot makes you stupider, on Take that. I've been drunk, it makes you stupid and you can't control really control yourself, pot doesn't do that. Two totally different drugs.
  16. I'm not ashamed to say I smoke pot nearly everyday. I didn't want to smoke it to be cool, I never tried it once in high school, except on graduation, not because of peer pressure, but because I wanted to. It helps me focus and relax. Pot makes me more curious and its awesome for working out, I'm sure Arnold Swartzenager can back me up on that. Pot doesn't kill and isn't addictive, and if people are going to argue health reasons, alcohol and tobacco are far more harmful to ones health. Why isn't alcohol illegal in the states still. It created too much crime and didn't stop use. Same thing is happening now not only with pot but all drugs. What about the argument the government shouldn't be controlling how its citizens live their lives.
  17. ya, your right, they should just continue heading in the direction they are going in now. It's benefiting a lot of Americans. Except for the ones who lost their homes, their jobs, the ones struggling to pay bills or the ones who are now living on the streets. It's not working out to well for them. If they continue to go on the path they are going now, they will collapse. Their Government can't continue to operate off loans forever. Eventually people will stop loaning to them. The country is bankrupt and so are its citizens. The markets are only up because of the stimulus and bailouts. The parties over in America. I don't think anything they do now ill save their country, unless something like a war happens. Truthfully, I don't care what anyone thinks of Ron Paul or me. That is irrelevant. When America falls, it will be felt everywhere. Global depression. You may call me crazy but it's already started, look at what is happening everywhere, countries are going bankrupt.
  18. those are jobs we don't need, spend the money on more doctors or something useful. I guess some lawyers will be mad too, they will have less clients.
  19. It's that time of the year again where stoners across the world gather in groups and protest marijuana prohibition. Let the debate begin Pros of legalization: -Money is saved since they wouldn't have to enforce a law. -Clears up the court system of non violent offenders. -Creates a new industry in a struggling economy. -It would take away funding from gangs. -Personal liberties; would allow people to do what they wish to their own bodies. Cons of legalization: -none I really don't see and pros to keeping it illegal.
  20. There you have it, he is not a racist. And for a pack of nuts, what do you expect, we live in some crazy times. Know what prolonged the great depression, government intervention, know what will prolong this recession, government intervention. The markets are self correcting if you let them, the American government won't let them correct, their economy is 70% Dependant on consumer spending, that can't last forever and the market tried correcting that imbalance but the bailouts and stimulus stopped the correction. They are running off a bubble economy which will make the economy worse once it bursts. Ron Paul knows this, he is warning us right now, he has been warning us for years. Know what will kill the american dollar, the Fed printing so much money, why are they able to print all this money, because the dollar is backed by nothing, no gold, so they can just continue to print and inflate the currency. The Canadian dollar is at par with the American dollar for a reason. The American dollar will continue to fall. Ron Paul says stuff like, hey, starting wars across the sea will just make more people angry at us and make us less safer in the end. What a nut case that Ron Paul is, looking into what motivates terrorists instead of listening to government propaganda.
  21. There is a chance Ron Paul will be president, if he runs that is. Ron Paul more or less started the Tea Party movement. The tea parties aren't going away, and they are just getting bigger. I'm sure if Ron Paul ran he would get the tea party vote. I don't know why people don't like Ron Paul, he predicted the financial collapse, he actually understands the economy and how it works. He knows the dollar and America will collapse soon, he is warning us but he is always being marginalized. It is like society doesn't like rational thinkers, society loves all the drama we create.
  22. I don't worship him. He is just a guy and I tend to agree with his values. How so. Or you can listen to the militias and ask them why the number is growing. They don't like either of the parties. They know there government and the Fed are corrupt. They're not going away and they are growing in number. It's not just because there is a democrat in office. This is gonna be bigger then hippies protesting in the 60's.
  23. Dr.Paul cured my apathy. The fact that he is American is irrelevant. I know, but the amount of them is growing.
  24. I don't have cable, I don't watch any corporate news. The government is robbing the people of their wealth. When the economy and dollar crash which they will, the people will be left with nothing. Who will they blame. There will be a revolution. There is a reason why militias groups are on the rise. Current events form future trends.
  25. I was saying this a while ago. There will be a second american revolution. The Tea Parties are just the beginning. The tea parties don't trust either of the two parties, they know the government and the Fed are corrupt.
