That's not how economics work Whether the government is spending the money directly, or it's being distributed to the private sector as tax cuts, the money is being borrowed and added to the economy. Somehow, the debt that Trump piled up via tax cuts and spending at the top/end of the economic cycle were not inflationary...but Biden's spending coming out of COVID is mostly to blame. He didn't. He pointed out the absurd, blind hypocrisy of criticizing Biden's deficits when Trumps were much, much larger, even after removing COVID spending from the equation.

He's going to continue getting even older after the election, and will statistically be dead before that 4-year term finishes. The odds of him surviving to 2029 are bad, and the odds of him not having significant health problems over period are terrible. The odds of him having any problems up until January are very low. Your partisan double-standard for fit-vs-unfit is your hang-up.

If JD Vance had any political savvy, he would spend less time squawking to his base and wouldn't publicly proclaim how he'd throw Ukraine under the bus, therefore removing any reason for Zelensky to remain vague. He visited a munitions factory in Pennsylvania that supplies Ukraine's war effort, and thanked the people there. I'd love to see you try to describe what the acceptable polling margins are for such visits, but we both know how ridiculous that would be. Criticizing JD Vance for his shamelessly Pro-Putin positions seems like a weird thing to be complaining about as well, especially considering the stakes for Zelensky. I have little doubt that Joe Biden can hold it together and run a steady ship until the New Year, even if I didn't support another 4 years for him. "Whatabout Trump?" isn't deflection. Out of two unfit candidates, one was forced to abandon his re-election campaign and will transition out of power (peacefully and painlessly) within months. The other is rambling about cats and dogs being eaten, and you're arguing in favor of him being President for the next four years. What political scandal is that? Joe Biden isn't batshit crazy. He's just too old, and nobody wants to see him run again. After 3.75 years in office, I imagine you'd have trouble articulating the dangers of letting him quietly serve out the last few months of his term, or what purpose it serves to force his resignation immediately before the election.

You yourself have argued extensively against these sorts of ideas, so it's awkward that you're outraged Zelensky would answer interview questions about him in a negative manner. Perhaps, but I don't have to reconcile the contradiction of being pro-Ukraine while supporting a presidential candidate who openly admires Putin, and whose running mate is advocating for Putin's "peace plans".
